Disclaimer: I do not claim to own any of the characters mentioned within this Fic. They are the sole property of JK Rowling, Bloomsbury and Scholastic Books and Warner Bros, Inc. I’m merely using them to explore the depths of my own imagination. In other words, don’t sue me, Sirius and Remus are NOT mine, I’m just letting them out for a little bit of fun.
Notes: My first full attempt at Slash – on my own – with no help whatsoever from anyone other then my twisted imagination, this story will contain Sexual References between two consenting males, if this squicks you, don’t bother reading it.
~*~*~*~*~
He reached for the door knob with no small amount of trepidation; His hand, his entire body trembling with what lay on the other side. He had received the owl from Albus three days prior and had been almost bursting with excitement, but now that the time had come he had succumbed to nerves; his palms were slick with sweat and he quickly wiped them on his trousers before opening the door.
He waited patiently, shivering in the warm night air more from nerves then anything else. He was half afraid that when he’d knocked it had been far too soft for anyone inside to hear it. Running his hands through his hair, he tried his best to get out some of the tangles. It had been three days since he’d left the hospital wing at Hogwarts, he’d already been to see Mundungus and Arabella, each of them terrified of the news he bought, but heeding their summons to rejoin the Order nonetheless. And now… he stood looking at the front door, his last stop until Albus required his assistance again. Raising his fist to knock once more, his breath caught in his throat as the door swung open.
Golden brown eyes met deep blue over the threshold for several long moments before Remus stepped aside, allowing Sirius to enter his family home. It had been almost ten months since he’d last been inside the Lupin Family Manor, the night he had taken Buckbeak and left Harry and Hermione in the court yard at Hogwarts, he had come straight here, to wait for his oldest and only remaining friend. They had spent the four months following that night, getting reacquainted, becoming friends again. Remus had helped Sirius get past the night terrors that were a side effect of spending twelve years in Azkaban, and Sirius had helped keep Remus calm on the nights of the full moon. They had spent long hours talking about the many things that had remained unspoken between them for thirteen years, discussing their past relationship and their future one. When Sirius had been called back to Hogwarts to see Harry and offer him a guiding hand during the Triwizard Tournament, there had been tears and declarations and promises. And Sirius, as a rule, never broke promises to those he loved.
Remus slowly led Sirius towards the den, his heart pounding in his ears like a kettle drum. He smiled softly to himself, over the last ten months; he had gotten to feel as though he knew his best friend better then he’d ever known him. They had written to each other weekly, using Fawkes as their courier, the only bird aside from Hedwig and Pigwiddeon they could trust explicitly. Sirius had shared his fears with Remus over the possible outcomes of the tournament, shared his fears of being discovered by someone that wasn’t Dumbledore, Harry, Ron or Hermione, and Remus had done the same.
Coming to a halt, Remus turned to face Sirius, “Are you hungry?” His voice was soft, his golden-brown eyes practically glowing in the fire-light, and the silver in his brown hair seeming to shimmer.
Sirius shook his head, “No, I’ve just come from Arabella’s,” he smiled, “I think she was more worried about me wasting away to nothing before her eyes then the news I was bearing. But if you’re hungry, don’t let me stop you.” He flashed Remus one of his most charming smiles.
“I’ve already eaten; I wasn’t sure what time you’d be arriving. But thank you for the consideration.” He offered Sirius one of his own smirks before he was wrapped in a bone-crushing embrace.
Nose buried in Remus’ neck, Sirius inhaled deeply; it was a scent he’d know anywhere, a mixture of fresh Earth, parchment and ink and something that was distinctly Remus Lupin. “I’ve missed you so much Moony,” he mumbled into the other man’s throat. His hands clutched tightly to the soft material of the muggle-jumper that Remus wore.
“I’ve missed you too, Padfoot.” His voice was thick with emotion as his hands moved of their own accord to the back of Sirius’ head, stroking the strands of silky black hair. “Much more then I can say really.” He pulled back and smiled down at his dearest friend, his brown eyes dancing in the light of the flames.
It took only a moment, for blue eyes to meet brown once more before both of them seemed to slip into autopilot. Mouths fused together in a soul scorching kiss, hands sliding beneath material in a vain attempt to feel flesh beneath their fingertips. Fingers turned into thumbs as Sirius fumbled with Remus’ belt, trying to draw it from his jeans even though it was only half undone, shoes and socks were kicked aside as Remus’ hands tangled in soft, black tresses, holding Sirius’ face to his as he nipped and kissed his way along the other man’s jaw.
Finally, Remus drew the last barrier between Sirius and himself away; flinging the tattered robe to the other side of the room and warm flesh met warm flesh. They sank down onto the hearth rug, hearts pounding in unison as their fingers began mapping each new scar, freckle and hair on the other’s body. A low growl was torn from Remus’ throat as Sirius’ fingers, roughened by years of hard work prior to Azkaban grazed an extremely sensitive part of his flesh. The werewolf inside of him reared his head as senses he long thought gone were reawakened, memories upon memories were triggered by the scent of the wolf’s mate, chasing each other through the forest, wrestling each other on the floor of the shack, playfully snapping at each other as they roamed the Hogwarts grounds when the moon was full and no student could see them.
Sirius grinned, his own growl when Remus straddled his hips bounced off the walls back to him, his mouth latching onto the spot where Remus had been bitten as a child, laving it with his tongue as though he could soothe away all the heartache that that one small scar often caused.
Hard flesh met hard flesh as the pair bucked and writhed, building each other up to such heights before slowly coming back down again only to repeat the process. Incoherent words and promises were mumbled amidst the groans and growls, tongue and teeth still eagerly locked to soft, warm flesh; fingers caressing and stroking that which lips could not reach. The simplest of touches spurring them on toward their crescendo; until finally twin roars of triumph filled every room of the house as they came in each others arms.
Panting and gasping for breath, the two came back to each other, hands soothing heated skin, lips brushing sweaty brows. Sirius’ arms clung tightly to Remus’ back as their foreheads came together, warm air washing over each other’s face as they waited for the world to right itself once again.
Finally, when Sirius could trust his voice enough to speak, he pressed his lips to Remus’ in a tender, loving kiss. “You are my world Remus Lupin,” he muttered, taking Remus’ hand and pressing it against his heart.
A slightly breathless chuckle bubbled forth as Remus nodded, “I love you too Sirius,” his brown eyes glittering in the fire light.
