Stuck on you
Disclaimer: I OWN NOTHING!
Draco Malfoy sat at the back of the Potions class room arrogantly drumming his fingers against the hard wood of the desk; he wasn’t really listening to Snape. His mind was on the up-coming Quidditch match against Gryffindor. He just had to beat that bloody Potter!
He sighed running a well manicured hand through his platinum tresses.
Draco had developed a deep rooted hatred of the boy and anyone associated with him ever since their first day on the Hogwarts express. No-one spurned a Malfoy for a Weasley, no-one, not even the boy-who-bloody-lived.
Draco was abruptly snapped out of his reverie when professor Snape called out his name.
“Huh? What?” Draco looked up at his professor.
Snape smirked at the blonde, looking up at him through his curtain of oily black hair.
“I said, Mr Malfoy that this term you will be partnered with Miss Granger for potions.”
Draco was furious, a red tinge rising on his normaly eatheral complexion, wait until his father heard about this!
“But sir!”
“No arguments Mr Malfoy!\" Snape drawled, \"Now Miss granger. Move.”
His words were laced with venom and he placed extra emphasis on the word \'move\'. There was a definate undertone of threat in his voice.
Hermione was flabbergasted, Malfoy?! Could this day get any worse? She cursed under her breath as she retrieved her things.
She smiled sadly at Harry and Ron who had both shot her horrified and sympathetic looks. She whispered “I’ll be fine” imploring them to keep quiet with a meaningful look from her dark coffee-brown eyes, Gryffindor couldn\'t afford to lose anymore house points.
With that she flounced across the classroom, her chestnut curls bouncing as she walked to take her seat next to Malfoy.
“Filthy Mudblood” Draco sneered at her, “Just keep out of my way.”
Hermione rolled her eyes.
“Whatever Malfoy.”
When the rest of the class had been assigned their partners Snape began to give the class details for the rest of the lesson.
“Today you will be continuing with a simple binding solution, remember class do NOT under any circumstances add more than the required toad livers. I shall know if you have. You may begin.” He drawled silkily.
Draco leant back in his seat, narrowing his stormy eyes and smirked at Hermione.
“Well go on then granger.” He waved his hand indicating the ingredients.
Hermione stared at him incredulously before getting to work, slamming jars on the desk and chopping through the daisy roots with a venomous vigour.
“You know you could help.” She hissed through gritted teeth.
“Nah” said Draco lazily, “I prefer to observe.”
“Stupid ferret” Hermione muttered reaching over to add the toad livers to the cauldron.
“What was that?” Draco’s eyes glowed menacingly as he reached forward pulling her roughly by the arm.
Hermione’s eyes widened in shock as she felt her grip on the jar loosen and watched with horror as the entire jar of livers fell into the bubbling cauldron.
“Draco you complete...”
But she was cut off by a deafening bang the resonated around the class room like a clap of thunder.
A deep purple smoke enveloped the pair as the class watched on in horror.
Meanwhile Snape cocked an eyebrow at the front of the class room and waited patiently for the smoke to clear. He knew very well what had happened.
Draco spluttered at the acrid smoke filled his mouth and nostrils; he raised his right arm to cover his eyes when he felt something tug at him.
“Get off me Malfoy!”
Draco swallowed.
“I’m not touching you…”
With a wave of his wand, Snape cleared the smoke to reveal the bewildered pupils and smirked at them amusement evident in his onyx eyes.
Hermione and Draco looked around the class room confusion written on their faces.
Slowly they looked down between them each trying to raise their arms but to no avail.
Their arms were completely stuck together!
