Within Another Life

Dragon soar above
As mermaids swim below
The rain falls like tears from the heavens
As two lovers fall dead
Wraith like creatures surround the pair
Like vultures circling a carcass
As friends and foe look stunned
For the two were not killed by another\'s hand
But their own
Two people so different like yin and yang
come together in time
A light surrounds the pair
and in an instant they disappear
Another time another place
They shall meet again
For fate has blessed the ties that bind
And destiny has mended
When stars and planets all align
And the world is finally at peace
Silver and Emerald shall meet again
Within another life
