Hidden Attraction
It is now the beginning of the Trio’s seventh year at Hogwarts, and everything is about to be turned upside down. Voldemort was killed about a month before the end of the last school year, however; it appears that he had a heir that almost no one knew one about. This year the truth will be revealed. (This is Pre HBP. This also has a HGSS pairing.) There is chapter one, I hope you like it. It’ll heat up around chapter three or four. I do not own Harry Potter, JKR does.

Hermione Granger awoke to what, unknown to her, would be the day that her darkest secret became known. The previous day had brought the Final Battle to Hogwarts itself. Harry had finally put Voldemort in his place; but it wasn’t enough. It turned out that he had an heir, Lucien.
Hermione rolled her eyes at her room mates constant giggling and gossip as she walked over to her wardrobe to pick an outfit for today. She came out of the bathroom fifteen minutes later fully dressed and ready for the day ahead. Her room mates were still gossiping about one thing or another. Suddenly Lavender spoke to her.
“Hermione, what do you think about Alyssa Adkins and her taste in boys?”
Alyssa Danielle Adkins is the most famous singer in the wizarding world, almost as famous as Harry, actually. She has been on the rise ever since she was thirteen. What made her so famous was the fact that she had vampire, werewolf, veela, and elementum blood, not to mention the fact that she was a direct descendant of Merlin.
“She is a good singer and she is probably dating older people because she isn’t looking for a boy, but a man. Besides, just because she is a singer doesn’t mean you have to kiss the ground she walks on.”
After she finished answering their question, she left to go down to breakfast. She couldn’t help but think about the man that she was so infatuated with, the man that pushed her desires to the edge. She would have to wait another year before she could make her move though. She put her thoughts of his body against hers out of her mind as she entered the Great Hall.
“Hermione, hold up a second!” someone called from behind her.
Hermione turned around to see Draco Malfoy walking up to her. Both didn’t seem to have noticed that the entire Great Hall, which was about half full, staring at them.
“What do you want Malfoy, and why on earth did you use my first name anyways?” she asked, annoyed.
“Landon wants to know why you have sent back all of his gifts and never answer his owls.” he explained.
“I never want to see or hear from him again. You think the boy would figure that out, but I he’s not as smart as I thought he was.” Hermione told him, hate and anger dripping from every word.
“You are publicly denouncing your own brother.” Draco stated in disbelief.
Yes, I am. Everyone else has agreed to do the same, so I speak for the entire family. Now, if you don’t mind, I will be on my way.” With that, she walked over to the Gryffindor table.
“Morning Ginny, Neville. Has the post arrived yet?” Hermione greeted them as she sat down next to Ginny at the Gyrffindor table, trying her best to hold off any questions they may have about what just happened.
“No, the post isn’t here yet. What was Malfoy talking about?” Neville asked.
“Nothing, it was nothing.” Hermione replied.
“He said, and I quote ‘You are publicly denouncing your own brother’ unquote. It has to be something.” he continued.
“I don’t want to talk about it, okay.” she said plainly.
Harry and Ron entered the Great Hall and sat down. Ron sat across from Hermione, next to Neville and Harry sat next to Ron. Just as Harry sat down, the post arrived. A barn owl sat in front of Hermione, carrying the Daily Prophet. Hermione took it from the owl, paid it, and opened it to the front page.
“Ginny, we need to talk.” she said as she left her copy of the Daily Prophet on the table, grabbing Ginny’s hand and dragging her out of the hall.
“What that was about?” Harry asked as he watched them leave.
“Harry, you might want to take a look at this.” Ron said, handing Harry the copy of the Daily Prophet that Hermione left on the table.
