Interesting Parties
Chapter 1- Summer vacation somewhere in England
Disclaimer- I do not own any of the characters, locations, or methods of transportation. They are all owned by J. K. Rowling. All that I own is the plot.
Harry and the rest of our friends are in their final year at Hogwarts and are busy preparing for their future, if they have one. Currently Lord Voldemort is in full power and causing havoc like before. This time though not everything is as easily as it was before. Fudge is no longer in charge at the Ministry. He was removed from office two years ago when Voldemort came back to power with his attack on the Ministry. Fudge never believed that he was back until he destroyed half of the Ministry. Things have changed drastically.
In order to protect Harry, Dumbledore is now only allowing Harry to spend a week at the Dursley¡¦s each summer so the blood line spell can be increased and Harry can continue to have his mother¡¦s protection. Though during the rest of the summer Harry spends his time at a location that no one knows where he is except Dumbledore. He can send owls to his friends but he may not disclose his location for his own safety.
After spending a week at the Dursley¡¦s that was again torment to him he disappears off with Dumbledore in the middle of the night to the unknown location that he will be spending the rest of his summer vacation.
At the end of July Harry received his customary note form Hogwarts stating that the new term would be starting the 1st of September like normal. He also received the note telling him what he would have to buy for the upcoming year. This year he would have to buy new robes since Hogwarts was changing the dress code and several new books. Though along with the two notes from Hogwarts he also received an interesting note form an owl that he did not recognize, a hansom black owl. The note read:
~ You are invited to attend our party on the Hogwarts Express on the way to Hogwarts. This is our way of relaxing while we have the chance because once term starts we will all be busy completing many assignments. This party is for all of the 7th years only. We will all meet in the last compartment of the train. Don¡¦t worry about clothing, it will be provided. ƒº Hope to wee you there.
Note: This note will disappear in 30 seconds.~
After the note disappeared Harry sat there and looked at what was in his hand before not knowing what to think. He decided to send a note to Ron and Hermione.
In a few days time Hedwig comes back with birthday cards, presents, and a note from Ron and Hermione. Harry reads the birthday cards then sets them on the kitchen table. He opens the packages which contain a massive amount of candy from Ron and a large book on stealth operations from Hermione. Harry then sees the piece of paper that is also sitting on the table. He pick up the paper and reads the not from Ron and Hermione stating that they both also received invitations to this party on the Hogwarts Express. They also want to know what the new robes will look like and ask Harry if he can come to Diagon Alley with them on August 25th to but all of their new school supplies.
After reading all the note Harry is so happy that he is going to see Ron and Hermione again. He then realizes that he is not to leave the house without Dumbledore¡¦s permission so he writes to Dumbledore asking if he can leave to go the Diagon Alley with Ron and Hermione to get his new school supplies on August 25th.
Just when sitting down to breakfast next morning. Dumbledore arrives and decides to join Harry. After a large breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and tea. Dumbledore asks Harry why he sent him this letter.
¡§I need to get supplies for the upcoming year and I thought that it would be enjoyable to get all of my supplies while Ron and Hermione were there too. I haven¡¦t seen them since June when Hogwarts left out for summer brake. I miss my friends; I haven¡¦t had mush contact with much of anyone.¡¨
¡§Well I don¡¦t see why you can¡¦t go with them for the day as long as a few precautions are taken.¡¨
¡§Like what?¡¨
¡§One, you will floo to Hogwarts first, then to Diagon Alley where you will meet Ron and Hermione.¡¨
¡§O.K.¡¨
¡§Second, when coming back you will floo to Hogwarts and them I will bring you here.¡¨
¡§O.K. So I can go?¡¨
¡§And don¡¦t stray away from Ron and Hermione!¡¨
¡§Of cores not, why would I?¡¨
¡§Enjoy your trip to Diagon Alley.¡¨
¡§Thanks so much.¡¨
And with that Dumbledore left Harry sitting at the kitchen table. Harry then sent Hedwig to Ron and Hermione telling them that he could come along.
