Lily Potter and the Time Traveler
This story is a mix of ideas from me and my good friend, Danielle, *(Sesshamaru’sWench @fanfiction.net, look her up peoples!) One night after way too much coffee and cokes, she thought of this idea and I acted upon it, since she has so many different stories going on right now as is. So... enjoy! It is an extreme A/U and rated for future content, so don’t read it if you don’t like this kind of story.
Lily Evans and the Field Trip
Chapter One: 1983 (A/U or the story wouldn’t work right)
“And so, for your assignments, I will give you each a time turner that you have to use in a way you see fit... now to use it...”
“Man, does Professor McGarpo ever shut up?” Sirius was sitting, doodling a big, black, shaggy dog on the corner of his parchment scroll, sitting next to Lupin, who was half asleep, James, who was trying his best to get Lily’s attention and keep it and Lily Eavns, the only female of the group and the only one to actually enjoy this class.. Peter, their other friend, didn’t have this class. ‘Studies of Time Travel.’ It was mandatory for them, and all of the guys hated it.
Lupin, after almost falling off his chair in his half asleep state, hushed his friend and looked over at Lily and James, who were currently engrossed with each other, and appeared to be ‘studying’ at their own pace. Lupin hissed at him and then smiled as James scowled.
“Get a room you two!” Lupin said teasingly.
“Shut up Lupin, or I will throw you outside of the grounds tonight...” James snarled at him half dark, half playfully.
“You wouldn’t DARE! You know tonight is the full moon, it’s...it’s not... you wouldn’t!” Lupin’s eyes were as big as dinner plates.
“You know James won’t do such a thing... stop teasing him James, look how pale he is!” Lily said quietly, running her hand along his leg.
“Lupin, do you think those two have had... you know...” Sirius said quietly so the other two wouldn’t hear him talking. The professor droned on and on about the dangers of time traveling. Lily was trying to pay attention.
“You mean the ‘dirty deed,’ the ‘honka honka burning love?” Lupin said, snickering a little at the thought of Miss Prim and Proper having red, hot, kinky, monkey sex with James Potter, the outcast of the entire school.
“Lily, you first my dear...” The professor was saying.
“Yes, Professor...” Lily stood and retrieved the time-turner from the professor. “What time shall I go to?”
“Either way, Miss... but remember that you shouldn’t do a thing while in the past or the future, or it will have dire consequences... and if you plan to go into the future, give the headmaster this letter as if you were an exchange student...” He droned on and on about what she must do.

Lily, James, Sirius and Lupin walked down the hallway towards their common room. James spied someone he knew too well and loved to tease just as much.
“HEY SEVERUS!” James cried.
Severus Snape glared at James Potter, “Hello Potter...” Snape hissed at his ‘friend.’ “How was ‘Time Traveling class? Why don’t you go into the past and make sure your parents never fu-”
Lily stepped in before James could retaliate, Lily being softer and nicer to everyone. “Just wonderful Severus...I am going into the future, shall I look you up when I get there... just to see how you are doing?”
Severus felt his face soften when Lily talked to him, HIM! A slytherin... talking to, no not just talking to, but FALLING for... a gryffindor! He couldn’t help but like her...which was some of the reason that James wanted to remove his face.
“I’d like that a lot, Lily...” Severus said.
James was about to pull his wand when he came face to face with Lily. “James.... Potter...” She hissed softly, yet sweetly. “Let him go, he wasn’t pestering you!”
“B...b...but... Lily!” was all that James could get out before a loud CRASH echoed down the hallway, followed by Severus’ loud yell for help. Lupin and Sirius were walking around the corner, laughing.
“SIRIUS! LUPIN! JAAAAMMMMMEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!” Lily yelled at her three male friends before taking off after them in a rage that rivaled Lupin’s werewolf form.

“Lily, are you going into the past or into the future?” James said as the five friends sat on the couches of the empty common room.
“I might want to go into the future to see how it is... you know, run into myself and see where I am... see which one of you bloody idiots I end up marrying!” Lily let out a small giggle and touched the time-turner.
“I say the past would be too risky, the future hasn’t been written yet, so go ahead and go into the future.” Sirius said, smiling gently.
Lupin grew uneasy as the sun started to set and glanced around.
“You are excused Wolf-boy.” Peter said, patting him on the head, “Hurry, the sun sets soon and the moon will be out.” Peter sat on the other side of Sirius.
“Oh...I hope I bite you! Peter!!!” He growled and snapped at Peter. Peter drew his wand, and Lupin screamed as he ran out of the room. Peter sat back down quietly and replaced his wand in his robe pocket. Lily was staring at the time-turner, trying to take in all the things that the professor had told her to do. Time travel was risky business.
“Lily? Earth to Lily! You there sugar?” James said.
“Yes James?”
“Look me up when you get there, okay?” James leaned in and gave her a kiss.
Sirius turned away, to give the couple their privacy, but turned right into Peter.
“Hey, baby... how about some sugar for me?” Peter teased, only to be hit a few seconds later with a curse from Sirius’ wand.
“Lily...please, be careful.” Sirius said, replacing his wand in his cloak pocket, as Peter spat up slugs.
James smiled and nodded too. She smiled at them, “I should be right back...” She turned the time turner... and suddenly, things swirled around her in a blur. She couldn’t make out the rapidly changing time as the time turner kept spinning around and around and around... until she got to the time she wanted to get to... 2003.
