Talent Show Notice

This fic is in response to CryingCinderella\'s \'Hogwarts Talent Show Extravaganza\' Challeng. I have no idea if it will turn out alright, but I found it too insanely silly to not pass up!
As it is, i hope to have a new chapter up soon. Bear with me. I may not update on a regular basis, but I have NO intention of abandoning ANY of my incomplete fan fictions. It\'ll just take me some time to get to them. Sorry for the wait.

One early morning in October, Harry glanced at the Gryffindor Common Room’s message board. “What’s this?” he asked to his friends. Hermione was sitting quietly reading a book, as usual. Ron sat down next to her. “Beats me...” Ron said with his typical clueless look.
Hermione finished reading the sentence she was on and looked up, over at Harry. “Oh, that? Its just a talent show notice. Its not until next month, so if you want to join in, you still have time to inform Professor Dumbledore, and have plenty of time to plan something...” Hermione said casually, returning her attention back to the book she was reading.
Harry puzzled over it... a Talent Show Extravaganza? An all-school event? What was the reason for this? It seemed...odd. Not entirely bad, necessarily, just unusual, even for Hogwarts. Talent shows were usually for regular schools... right?
“How long has it been there?” asked Ron, “I don’t remember seeing anything about it before...”
“Oh! As if you two EVER read anything...” Hermione said, sighing and rolling her eyes in annoyance. Though it was a bit hard to distinguish if she was just teasing or really meant it. Hermione shook her head and sighed again.
Harry was not so sure how to respond to her and so he said nothing.
Hermione looked from Harry to Ron. Rolling her eyes again. “Its been there TWO weeks!” Boys.
“Oh. Well I’m not participating!” Ron stated in a huff, though it was hard to tell if he was just trying to challenge and defy Hermione or if he really meant it.
Harry wasn’t so sure he wanted to participate or not. He spent enough time in the center of the school’s attention. He was not sure he needed even MORE publicity...

Two weeks later:
Ron and Harry are sitting at the Gryffindor table, awaiting for the arrival of everyone. “So, Harry,
are you going to participate in the talent show or not?” Ron asks curious.
“I don’t know...” Harry mutters. “You?”
“Yeah. I just haven’t decided what I could do yet.”
Hermione came up to join them, over hearing their conversation. “You could do a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party...” Hermione suggested. “Here, read this chapter...” Hermione handed him a copy of “Alice in Wonderland” opened to the chapter where Alice met the Mad Hatter.
Ron skimmed the section. “Cool! Yeah, maybe I will...” Though Ron was not sure if he truely would follow through with what he suggested. He knew Hermione was only trying to help, but the Mad Hatters Tea Party seemed a bit...silly. Even for a Weasley’s taste. He could see the twins
pulling it off but he hardly felt he could do the scene justice.
Harry still had no idea of what he would do, or if he WOULD do anything for the talent show. On one hand, it would be fun... but he did not feel like making a fool of himself or doing something stupid. What would he do for the talent show?
