Chapter 1 - Sapphire And Hogwarts
17 year old Vicki had beautiful black hair that glimmered In the sun, her eyes were a dark green which sparkled, her smile was heavenly, to everyone she was perfect In every way. Her best mates were Remus Lupin, Sirius Black and James Potter, but not Peter, ugh! He had followed them sice their first year
Vicki didin't use magic with a wand
"Honey, Its time for up" she heard her mums voice softly
"Why?" Vicki droned
"Its the start of the term, school, I'll see you down In 10 minutes" her mother said leaving the room
"Your sister was up ages ago" she shouted going down the stairs
"Why doesn't that suprise me" you mumble

Vicki slowly looked up and looked over to the side of her room, there stood on a perch was her Phoenix, Sapphire, her father had got her It for a early 18th birthday "Lo Sapphire", Sapphire let out a shrill squak and flew over to her, Sapphire gently rubbed Its head on your soft skin. Her birthday was next week, she would be 18
Vicki finally got up of bed, yawning she headed to the bathroom, after a few seconds she got herself washed and dressed, you slowly went downstairs and entered the kitchen to find her mother, father and sister already at the table "Morning Anarane" her father said "Morning" Vicki mumbled. "Whats up weed?" her sister asked "Shut up Haylie" she yelled. Haylie was her younger sister, she was 13 and a pain "Don't talk to your sister like that" her mother said glaring at her. "Eat up" her mother said pointing at he toast, Vicki took some toast and buttered It. After they had breakfast her father said "Have a good year" we'll see you In the holidays. Vicki ran upstairs to get her belongi She She kissed her father "Bye dad" "Come Sapphire" Sapphire flew over and sat on you shoulder. "I do wish you'd put her In a cage" her mother retorted "Its not fair to lock animals up mum"

I'll see you and your sister during the holidays your mum said to you and Haylie. "Bye mum" you both shouted back

"I'll go find a compartment on my own" Haylie said grumpily
"Fine, thats your choice"
Vicki opened a door to find a beautiful girl with long red hair already In

You knew Lily, as James kept asking her our ever sine cle clapped eyes on her
Lily got up and give Vicki a huge hug then after 20 seconds sat back down
You sat down on the seat opposite

"Not really, my sister kept badgering me the whole summer"
"Still?"
Vicki nodded "I swear we're not related!"

Lily soon noticed Sapphire "Wow beautiful Phoenix" she gasped
Vicki smiled "Thanks, my dad got her for me as a early birthday present, her name Is Sapphire"

The compartmant door open and In came James, Remus and Sirius
"Evans" James said
"Potter" she hissed
"Hey Vicki" Sirius said smiling
"Hey Sirius....Remus"
"How are you Remus?" Vicki asked
"Good, really good actually" Remus replied
"My Lily flower" James said sitting beside Lily, Lily pushed him so that he fell onto the floor, Remus, Sirius and Vicki snorted with laughter
"Bog off, Im not yours" Lily hissed
James looked hurt
"Wow lovely Phoenix" Remus said
Vicki beamed "My dad got her for me as a early birthday present, her name Is Sapphire"

"We have to go patrol" James said to Lily
"You're head boy?" she screeched
"Yep" he replied revealing his badge
They left the compartment, Lily muttered something under her breath

"Thanks for keepingcontcontact with me over the summer Remus, It has been hell and dull" Vicki said
"You wrote to Vicki?" Sirius asked raising his eyebrows
"Yep" Remus said smiling

The compartament door opened and In walked Lily and James
"Potter bog off"
"Charming" James said
"God, dont you's two start again" Vicki grumbled
"Me! Me? Its him" Lily snarled staring at James
They all stopped arguring when the train stopped

"Its going to beong ong year" Remus said and Vicki who laughed at his joke

Soon the golden plates began loading with food, Lily and Vicki were happily chatting and eating. "Where Is that sister of mine!" Vicki asked looking around the hall, she then saw her over at the Slyherin table "Oh, nevermind, I see her, acting like a dork as usual"
"But shes your sister" Lily retorted "Only In blood" she replied "I hate her"
"How come you're not sitting with them?" Lily asked pointing to James, Sirius and Remus "One of Sirius's fan girls stole my seat" Vicki mumbled, Lily laughed "Its not funny"

"That Vicki one Is hot, how come I never noticed It before" Sirius said to himself, but realised he said It out loud
Remus rolled his eyes
"She has changed" James said looking over at Vicki
"I think I'll ask her out this year" Sirius said
"Oh I dunno, I dont think shes your type" Remus said
"Moony! Dont you go stealing her" Sirius said laughing

Up In the common room everyone was getting ready for bed
"Dam that Potter" Lily hissed
"Hes not that bad"
"Not that bad, hes so arragonant and so up himself"
"Lily all boys are like that, hes 17, a typical boy, If he wasnt like that he wouldnt be James"
"I hate It when you're right Vicki"
"Night Lily"
"Night Vicki"

Vicki lay down on her bed, closed your eyes and rolled over, you then started to dream

A brown Tawny Owl suddenly began tapping on your window "Hold on! hold on" Vicki yelled, the Owl began tapping louder and louder till you opened It "Thanks" you said taking the letter off the Owl's leg
Dear Vicki
I just thought Id write to you, I am doing nothing much, pretty boring actually, god the summer goes on forever, how Is you mum and dad? hope they are well, when I met them they were so nice to me, they accepted me for who I am, hope all finds you well
Remus

You grabbed a scroll and began to write......
