Sekhmet's Servant
Sekhmet's Servant
Rating: NC-17
Pairing(s): Lucius/Draco, Hermione/Severus, Tom Riddle/Ginny (implied), Hermione/Gin
Su
Summary: How the mighty have fallen. Draco has incestuous feelings for his father (and vice versa), Hermione is insane and a Death Eater, and Ginny finds herself succumbing to dark dreams that promise power...with the Golden Trio shattered, and the ending battle coming nigh, who will be standing when the smoke clears...and where will their allegiances lie?
Disclaimer: The Harry Potter characters, Hogwarts, and anything else you recognize from the books belong to J.K. Rowling. The plot (or at least most of it, someone probably did something close to this at one time or another) belongs to me.
Author's Note: This is (supported by the pairings) a dark fic and not a pro-Gryffindor or pro-happy ending one. That said, bring on the incest and death eaters! Though on second thought, since you have been warned about the pairings and the content, I would appreciate it if none of you took the time to flame me. You could be taking the time learning how to register to vote...
Don't like it, don't read it!
Though of course, reviews are appreciated.

"May the goddess Sekhmet raise me, and lift me up. Let me ascend into heaven, let that which I command be performed in Het-ka-Ptah. I know how to use my heart. I am master of my heart-case. I am master of my hands and arms. I am master of my legs. I have the power to do that which my Ka desireth to do. My Heart-soul shall not be kept a prisoner in my body at the gates of Amentet when I would go in in peace and come forth in peace."
-The Book Of The Dead
"Light the candles quickly Draco. The Dark Lord and his newest recruit shall be here in a moment."
The youngest Malfoy nodded and with a flick of his wand and a muttered incantation and the wicks of the tall black candles ignited. Now the preparations were complete. Sliding his wand back into the pocket of his silk dress robes, he turned around to face his father, who had a small smile on his face. Lucius walked over to his son and their lips pressed together in a deep kiss.
Voices indicated the sudden arrival of their guests and pulled the two Malfoys from their reverie. Lucius straightened and made sure his robes (and Draco's) looked perfect before walking out into the reception room, where Severus Snape and a hooded woman stood, talking quietly. They fell silent as Lucius and Draco walked into the room. All four of them turned to face the Dark Lord, who had just Apparated into the manor. They fell to one knee simultaneously and waited for Voldemort to speak.
"All of us are here tonight to welcome another into our ranks. If any have wondered why only the three of you are here, it is this. Our new sister is in a rather...precarious position and it would be best that her true identity is kept to those in this room." The threat underlining those words filled the room with an unearthly chill and the Dark Lord's crimson eyes flared. Then he smiled. "Of course, Severus here is already quite intimate with her identity."
A slight flush lit up Severus's cheeks and Lucius held back a small laugh. His companion looked up from the floor, obviously uncomfortable and not used to kneeling. But it didn't show in her voice as she spoke. "My Lord, are you going to let the Malfoys faint from anticipation?" There were hints of amusement in her voice, and shock from Draco and Lucius. The oldest because he was wondering why this woman wasn't screaming on the floor via Crucio, the youngest because he recognized her voice.
"Hermione?" He whispered under his breath, eyes wide.
"Ah Lucius, it seems your son is quite perceptive. Yes, Draco. You are correct. Now that we are all aware, you can remove your hood Hermione."
The seventeen-year old stripped herself of her cloak and hood and Draco's steel gray eyes widened. Her cinnamon eyes held a dark fire that had not been there in previous years, and she carried herself with a iron-clad confidence. Hermione also looked much different. She had a lean, muscled body and deliciously pale skin. Her black halter top did not completely cover the Dark Mark on the inside of her right breast. Tight leather pants and boots covered the rest of her form. Hermione's hair had grown longer and was now in a French braid. The cloak was tossed onto a chair.
Draco was impressed, but no lust clouded his eyes. His love, incestuous or otherwise, was only for his father. He noticed her eyes looking up and down his form for a second, but her eyes were empty. She cared not for his body, only gauging his reon. on.
"Permission to speak, my Lord." This came from Lucius. Just because Hermione had been allowed to speak out of turn didn't mean that he could.
"Granted."
"I am curious as to what sparked this...change of heart in the young Miss Granger. Up until now, I was sure she was part of the," He paused and stifled a smirk, "famous Golden Trio."
"I can answer myself, my Lord, if I have your permission." Hermione hissed and stood, between clenched teeth.
Voldemort laughed softly at her anger. "Of course, my cat." All of the others got to their feet, and Draco and Severus backed away from the two.
She flushed a little, but ignored the comment and turned to face Lucius. "Do you honestly think I didn't know where the true power was? I know many at Hogwarts would accuse me of being a bitch whose only relationship was with books, and that is partially true. They just weren't aware of the books I was reading." Hermione smiled, and her teeth looked sharper than vampire fangs. "The summer after my first year I traveled to the Black Lands* after reading of Lady Sekhmet. She promised me power that my 'friends'," She spat out the word like it was something disgusting, "couldn't give me."
A fanatical fervor was in her eyes as she spoke. "As you may or may not know, the goddess Sekhmet's name means 'She Who Is Powerful'. Understand Lucius, I have hungered for power since I learned I was a witch. Worship of the goddess and joining these ranks give me access to it. But after being put into Gryffindor for my 'courage' and 'resourcefulness', I knew that the Dark Lord would never accept me as a muggleborn and Gryffindor. Unless I had something to offer him." A smug look came onto her face. "A connection with Harry Potter would do the trick." Hermione's eyes shifted to Draco. "I must thank you, little Dragon, for fighting with Potter. It gave me the opportunity to bind him even closer to me without raising suspicion."
She continued, smiling devilishly. "Once he was in my grasp, I sent away for every book of the Dark Arts I could find. Hours of study and practice led me only to want more. I built an altar to Sekhmet and hid it away in the Forbidden Forest. It has yet to be discovered." Severus looked impressed. It was obvious he hadn't known everything about his lover.
"And last but not least, I had the time turner. It allowed me to make myself older so I could beseech my Lord to join his ranks, seeing I was at the appropriate age."
Hermione purred in satisfaction and grinned at Lucius. "Besides, was I the only one who noticed that whenever Potter fought against our Lord, I wasn't there?"
She was insane, Draco decided. Not that he was surprised or disturbed. Hermione saw through a cracked glass, darkly. Most likely, her goddess 'spoke' to her and came in dreams, and the girl fanatically followed whatever orders she was given. It gave her loyalty, and an unbreakable tenacity. As long as the Dark Lord supported her claims of this goddess's power, she would be in his claws. Wonderful. With this edge, the Light had no chance. The most powerful witch in years was a Death Eater. And loved it.
