I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
In Light of Recent Reviews
A/N: I really apologise to those of you who can understand irony and the overt mocking of typified ships and stylings of past and present admirable fanfic writers in our particular fandom, but for those of you complaining about lack of plot/sentence structure/ whatever your gripe, let me try to explain.
There is an author's device known as satire. It has been used throughout history, my favourite example having been penned by the notable Johnathan Swift in "A Modest Proposal" which many people did in fact believe, due to their revealing low moral expectations of Americans and several other social groups.
This story is an outlandish satire, also known as a parody in our fandom. I always get a chuckle out of these stories because not only do they defy canon as well as fandom character traits, but are tongue and cheek -- if you would prefer something more serious and traditional, you can read some of my other stories that probably won't possess nearly enough smut for your liking, and chances are you'll hate my verbose, imagery-ridden academic writing style, but they're there and do harbour immensely complicated plotlines and moral debates explored throughout.
Lastly, it's common courtesy not to be insulting when posting negative reviews; I am not going to search your pennames and negatively critique any of your stories because not only would this be futile, it would only exacerbate a flailing solidarity between typically female written fanfics in our fandom, and I would rather support other writers than dismiss their ideas and turns of phrase entirely. Everyone here should know the difference between tactful and respectful con-crit and rude, near-flame demeaning comments. What's typically done if a reader does not personally prescribe to a writer's story is that they stop reading, rate poorly if they were completely disgusted, and move on. By someone taking the time to actually write a negative review indicates that there is another issue lying just below the surface -- perhaps resentment for having their favourite pairings mocked or portrayed a)outlandishly b) falsely c) stupidly -- or, perhaps having to look up certain segments of diction they weren't previously familiar with.
I won't be deterred from completing this wonderful filth for those who can perhaps benefit from a few off-colour remarks about the commonplace familiarity and liking for pedophilia between Snape and Hermione, beastiality between Tonks and Lupin, and various other squicky issues that are all so prevalent and appealing in terms of fantasy in the HP Fanfic universe.
I hope this helps in elaborating on where I'm coming from with this story and that the lacking civility illustrated between the characters can be compensated by various readers who may lovingly enjoy or abhorrantly detest this fic and review compassionately. This world of fantasy is meant to distract us from the very brutal and in many cases thoughtless reality, stricken with wars, lacking diplomacy and suffering taking place just as we read our anticipated climax scenes between Draco and Pansy, Harry and Ron -- Would it help if I wrote PWP at the beginning of every chapter? I'll try that then.
