Chapter 1

8 years after Hogwarts

Private Drive was history for a long time, almost 8 years passed since Harry left Hogwrts, and his relation with Ron was going towards becoming past , while Harmione was married. Dumbledore had a tragic accident and was dead for 6 years , many things changed, many things were past and Harry wished he was past also.

Hary was thinking to him self while staring at the empty wall in the ministry of Magic. Now Harry was 26, working in the department for international cooperation, Luna was his girlfriend. “Damn it! I miss Hogwarts, Harmione, Ron, …Cho….even Draco…yes Draco… God knows where is he now and who is he harassing right now?”. Life is not what it used to be. Harry was not so famous any more, every one seems to have forgotten about Voldemort and the “ boy –who- lived. Strangely how their destinies were connected, it looked like if there was no Voldemort there is no Harry Potter.
Again Harry was not happy …not at all…. “how come I’m not happy?”- Harry thought and kept asking him self?…. “Voldemort is dead and there is no threat for the world any more…. The Dursley’s are past ….
“Why am I not happy ? Am I missing those times when danger was coming from everywhere, where I didn’t know what the next day will bring?”…Unfortunately yes, Harry was missing the days of the Dark Lord and everything that came along with that. Deep in his heart Harry longed for those times, missing even the clashes with Malfloy...
“Life is sad if you don’t have Enemy No. 1” Harry thought

“ Mr Potter!!! The minister would like you to finish the report about the death eaters seen in Albania , sent by the Albanian department of Magic and imams , he wants thatest est by Friday!”, the voice of Mrs Nina was coming from the office across his…

“Yes. Ms Nina . the report will be left in your pigeon hole on time” – fuck….
“ I’m becoming lazy with this stuff” … Harry used to be very good at those stuff when he started with the ministry , but his enthusiasm is going down every day…and it looked like ages passed since those days…

uhhhhhhhhhhhhh….. Once that Harry left Hogwarts he was so excited …. He went to live in Sirius’s house , which he has gotten as a part of Sirius’s will …. Things happened so fast afterward…. Hermione went to Poland and met someone with whom she got married, one morning Ron came rushing to his house, without a breath he entered
Harry ‘s room and woke him up:

“Weak up mate …. Ginny just received an owl from Mione …. She is … she is getting MARRIED !!!!!! I always knew she would screw it up….. how could she …. I mean after all we had together…. Shit ..man I never wanted to let her go there … I had a very nasty feeling…….Shittttttttttttt”

“ Come dawn Ron-said Harry – don’t say you didn’t know it ? You didn’t even remember to buy her a present for the international witch day – (1 April)!”

“Yes.. I know… I was not perfect but I loved her ! Bit..”

“Shit it up Ronald Weasley ! Don’t say…at iat is she saying by the way… is she inviting us on the wedding ! “

“NO! she is marring a muglgle ! She hasn’t told him yet, about she being magick ! You get it ! Imagine if Malfloy hears this a ? “

“Ok mate… now if you please … I would like to put something on my self… “

“Common Harry , I’m not Luna ….. nothing to be a shame from! “

“RON!!!! “

“Ok, I’ll be downstairs… fixing you fridge.”……..

“Where the fuck is he putting all that food”- thought Harry while putting his stuff on…. Two minutes latter Harry was downstairs and they were heading towards the * Dragon’s Inn*, a recently opened wizard bar … “

“Mate look at this waitress, my god ! “

“So much from the love to Mione ! a ? Isn’t this is one of the reason’s why she dumped you Ron? “

“Dunno , maybe! But she did it first … the difference is because I only speak … (Ron started going even redder then his hair).. while she … she GOT MARRIED , for Merlyn’s sake !!!!!”

“Ok Ron… so who is this guy ! IS she saying something about that? “


“Hey you Two ! I was looking for you … (It was Ginny ) where have you been ???? “

“Just here – Gin – I was just telling Harry about Mione’s wedding… “

“Yes Tell me Ginny- who is this guy ? How did she meet him? “

“It seems that he is in some muggle affairs which they called it Puliticiant ??? Do you know what that mean Harry …. “

“ Sort of … not much do… very stupid business … I once met a guy called Trajkovski who was president of some country in the Balkans … a true exception I read it afterward in London times… unfortunately he is dead by now…. I was told that he was Dumbledore’s distant cousin and one of the few half unicorns in our planet… but it seemed that he was not aware of it. … but Politicians are sort of leading people who are like peeves in a way.. cheating their own people !

“What the Hell is Mione is doing with someone like that ???? She was always strange…. No wonder I mean muggle parents! “

Harry gave Ron a look that frightened him to death, and Harry felt something strange in his hand , but there was nothing.

“Sorry mate, I didn’t meant that… I mean .. Mione is most likely trying to “dig out the good of him”.

“What are you guys up to Merlin’s day! Me and Luna will be going to the old temples.”
Since none of them said anything, although this looked like an invitation …. Luna continued: So… are you coming or what?”

“Yes .. fine .. said Ron “

“Count me !”- said Harry not very enthusiastic …. Then Luna left

“What’s up with you mate? Said Ron ?”

“Luna.. that’s up! Somehow she is too pushy … you know what I mean …. I still haven’t got over Cho completely… and she is trying very hard to get me …. Not that I mind ..but I’m not sure whether I’m in situa to to judge well, I might use her just to get over Cho… and I don’t like , and I don’t need that. ”

“Wow man! You thinking too deep for my taste … take what ever life offers you ! “

“Well … this sound just like Malfloy…. I don’t want to be like that !”

At mentioning the name of Draco Ron was going super Red… Harry never manage to understood why those two folks heated each other so much … what ever

“Gosh is Merlin”s day ! I almost forgot. said Ron… “

“Ron .. you are born in a wizard family, you grow up in a wizard family, you should know better then me the importance of this day… is the day when Merilin understood who he is!”
“You sound just like Moione !!! “

“Ok … listen .. did you find any job RON! “

“No… But not that I was desperately looking for ! “

“Yes.. but I have to find soon … this is the 3rd year that I’m leaving on what my parents left me …. Dumbledore wouldn’t had like this. And my money are very tide .. I mean if I don’t find anything soon I will have to move to your place Ron ! “
… every time when the name of Dumbledore was mentioned Harry “s eyes were filled with tears………….. “Listen Ron I will go to see when those interviews with the Ministry of Magic are scheduled and …. See you tonight at the old Temple!”

Couple of hours later …. Ginny and Luna were getting ready …..

“…So are you going to tell Harry how you are feeling tonight?”- Ginny was asking?
“I guess I will have to. I mean I did give him a lot of signs … but somehow he is just not noticing, doesn’t respond….That CHO really destroyed him…”

“All men are like that, Luna… as bad you are to them they like you more. Look at my brother for example , while Hermione was here , she tried everything to please him …. he instead pretended he didn’t notice anything … or he was blind… saying that MIONE doesn’t let him breath… but now once he learned that she is married he idealises her so much … he would even kill him self if she says so ! “

“I will tell him tonight … I mean I have to ! Otherwise I will explode ! Ok lets go then.”

Harry and Ron were waiting infront of them ancient table build by Dumbledor’s predecessor …………..

“Hi guys ! “
“Hi.. hi… “

“Ron could you please come with me … I will buy some ice-cream and I need a hand for that… “

“Ok Gin… but why right now …. Ok what ever ! “

Luna took advantage of this
“ Harry … I need to speak with you ….. I have something very important to tell you… “

“Yes Luna … please tell me…. “

“I LOVE you Harry …. I was not aware of that until recently… I guess I loved you in the last 3 years but I just didn’t know it my self”

Harry was covered with cold sweat … he was sensing some thing ..but never though that Luna can be so direct …. What should I say to this Harry though…. But every time someone mentioned the word LOVE Harry immediately thought of CHO… my god CHO! Harry cried in him self ! His immediate reaction would be: Go to hell Luna … I love no one then CHO! But he didn’t want to break Luna’s heart .. he liked Luna in a way , but not like that… he considered her handsome, smart…but never had such feelings towards her ….

“ What are you talking Luna , for Merlin’s sake ! We are friends … I like you too , but not like that…. Do you mean you like me or the stories for me …. The boy-who lived”
But still this was flattering

Luna noticed this: “Harry it is not fair to be play big guy now ! I know that you might think that I’m a freak …. And I don’t blame you … how can I … I would most like act the same if someone out of blue just tells me that…but Harry try to understand I had to tell you I would have exploded if I didn’t tell you now…. You have no clue how it is … not to be able to share it…. Merlin ! I gave you so many signs Harry” – Luna was almost crying … “but you… you…. Didn’t notice … and Again I don’t blame you … I know how you feel for CHO… and Imagine how I felt seeing you going yellow every time CHO”s name…”

“Ok Luna… is fine … hmmm I think we have to discuss this tomorrow on another occasion, when we would be alone.”

“Thanks Harry … “

Couple of minutes after…
“Here are the ice- creams” -Thanks god Ginny came – Harry thought …..

“Hi Luna … sorry Luna … you know how the ministry is …. Dam I hate it ! “

“Take it down Harry you know how desperately you need this job ….. I mean what would you do without it?”

“Merlin ! I would just enjoy life…. Read… travel … you know I need to go to Libya … to meet finally my uncle , my father’s brother who might never know that he has a nephew.”

“I know Harry … but you will also get very bored after a while… I know you Mr Potter every time you take leave ..after the first week you become restless … You are addicted to work !”

“This uncle of mine , I have sent him so much owls …. I get a feeling he doesn’t want to meet me …. What ever ! lets eat something”

“You have to be careful Mr Potter … You already gained extra weight …. “

Harry had strange feelings for Luna… he loved her at moments , all his new friends at the ministry adored her … and many kept asking when is the wedding coming ..some of them even were saying that she is an Angel ! and he agreed to all that , but his feelings for CHO were not dead… and he knew that CHO is not thinking of him any more…. He wished Ron was here… but RON was far a .miles a way in USA, he couldn’t take it any more the break with Hermione , he found a job at some magic community teaching the young wizards about defence and had no intentions of coming back…. Their friendship … if one can call it so… was not the same … was rather memory of a strong friendship……….. Harry was lonely …. Luna was doing everything to cheer him up… but he was lonely, why was he lonely and empty he had no clue…. Even the fact that Luna was one of his last funs that worshiped him as in the time when he was the boy-who-lived , didn’t push a way the emptiness. Sometimes Harry wished Voldemort was not dead … terrible …

This was the new Harry Potter, the adult Harry Potter , who didn”t wanted to grow up…. Empty from his inside, “abandoned by everyone”, without Dumbledore by his side, his best two friends spread at different ends of the world, not satisfied by his life and work…drawing in the every-day”s life, often depressed … only with Luna by his side! It seemed that nothing made him happy anymore …. After the defeat of Voldemort he thought that many great things will follow… he had great plans for himself …. But as the time was passing he was getting a feeling that he is become old … and that time will crash him…. The only thing what kept him (but not strong ) was the wish of meeting his uncle!

Next morning Harry was back at work. There were times when Harry enjoyed every moment spent in his work. But this was not the case any more, although he was 26 now his heart was still eager for adventures. Harry was a true example that even Nicolas Flamel was wrong when he said that “ Adventures happen only to those who seek them”… cause Harry didn’t seek them when he was young and when they were just happening, and now deep in his heart he maybe regretted that Voldemort was dead…because his death changed everything…Ron… Hermione…. Draco…. All of them had to abandoned their roles because there was no need anymore to be them. Even Draco changed with the fall of Voldemort… and maybe …just maybe Dumbledore would have been a life …. “God how much I miss Dumbledore” -thought Harry . This was one of the reasons why Harry wanted to meet his unknown uncle in Libya …. Because he needed someone to guide him through his life , some one to consult . His aunt Olymplia was always there , she even moved to live with him. Olympia was cousin of his father actually she has told him about his uncle in Arabia.. “ This loneliness is just killing me… shit… I will go to a monastery… and become a muggle monk … damn it”.

Harry started writing to the minister a letter :

After finishing, Harry placed the letter in the pigeonhole of the Mrs Nina and left the office.

What Harry didn’t knew is that devil you know is better then devil you don’t know, Nor did he imagine that he would fall in love again, and that the history will reveal it self and he will have one more, last chance.
