AN-Ah yes,a
HP fic…Lucius/Narcissa pairing, mild violence later on. AU
story.
Enjoy. Also, a phone comes up later on…that’s one of my
ideas…figure that wizards & witches gotta keep in
contact somehow when ones out and since apparation isn’t precise, they can’t
use that, so I added cell phones in. Ah yes, and ‘thoughts’.

2 class=SpellE>Chotto Modoshis

She had two
children, a daughter and a son. Well, at
least Lucius would be pleased...he got his son. Taking them both, one in each
arm, Narcissa gazed at her children. Her son had received her emerald eyes,
which now showed confusion, and Lucius\' light blonde hair. He was rathergy, gy,
Narcissa admitted to herself, but perfect none the less. She sighed at the
thought, and turned to look at her little daughter. She too had inherited
Lucius\' light blonde hair, but she also possessed the stormy gray eyes of her
father. Looking at her, Narcissa couldn\'t help but smile, she was perfect, too.
‘She\'s a mini-Lucius!’ The random thought made Narcissa giggle. The daughter
who Lucius would knowingly despise was a perfect copy of him, something Lucius
had probably wanted to happen to their son.

The little
boy started to cry, having been frightened by Narcissa\'s giggles. Narcissa
rocked him slowly, smiling at the crying toddler. "Shhhh, it\'s all right.
Mommy\'s here. Shhhh." Deciding the he was
probably cranky; Narcissa rose from the bed and headed towards the large green
crib near the window to put the two in bed. True, the two of them had known
Narcissa would have more than one child, but Lucius had insisted upon a single
crib. He had mentioned somng ang about "cluttering up the house" at
the notion of having two cribs. Nevertheless, the crib was big enough for both
children. It also could rock back and forth, making Narcissa\'s job a little
easier.

Still
shushing, Narcissa laid her son down in the crib, against the shorter
headboard, and pulled the green blanket over him. He was still wailing at the
top of his lungs. Narcissa shifted her daughter to the center of her arms and
lowered her towards the other end of the crib, but stopped halfway. Upon her
tiny face, with a look that clearly said ‘You\'re going to put ME in THERE with
HIM! ARE YOU CRAZY, WOMAN?!’. Narcissa laughed out
loud despite herself. She truly was like
Lucius, in looks and behavior!

"Oh
come on, sweetie. It won\'t be that bad." Narcissa told her daughter. The
girl sneered back at her mother for a moment. Then contorted her face in such a
way that it said ‘So then YOU sleep with him and let me take YOUR bedclass=GramE>.‘ Narcissa laughed again. "Not even a day old and
already rebelling."

Sighing,
Narcissa tucked the girl under the blanket in the crib, and proceeded to rock
it, hoping to lull her son to sleep. But he continued to wail and even got
louder. Her daughter was glaring at her brother, and would have most defiantly screamed
\'SHUT UP\' if she could have talked. Narcissa groaned. "Please go to sleep,
honey. Your mother needs her rest." At this comment, her daughter turned
towards her with a look that said \'I hate you for doing this to me. class=GramE>For putting me in here with this IDIOT\'. Narcissa started to
hum softly, silently cursing Lucius for being \'out with friends\' on the night
her children were born. The man had walked out nearly four hours ago, class=GramE>a hour before her labor had begun, to hang out with his
buddies. He hadn\'t even left his phone on so she could contact him! So now, she
was stuck rocking her two children to sleep and then an hour or two later,
Lucius would apparate home, and the noise caused by the apparation would wake
the children.

Sighing,
Narcissa started to think of possible names for her children as she continued
to rock them. She wouldn\'t dare name them and then have Lucius come home and
throw a fit because he didn\'t like what his son\'s name was. No, it was better
to just wait for Lucius and avoid a possible scuffle. This son was destined to
be the Malfoy family\'s heir, even though the daughter was older by two minutes.
Snapping out of her daydream, Narcissa noticed the absence of sound and,
glancing down, discovered her little angels were finally fast asleep.

Groaning,
Narcissa silently called on of the house elves, telling it to call her if one
of the children awoke. The creature nodded, and Narcissa left. She went down
the staircase to the kitchen, where Narcissa poured herself a tall glass of red
wine. Smiling, she sat in the parlor and sipped the beverage, reveling in the
taste of the wine she had been denied for the past nine months. She drank the
entire glass, licking the glass’ rim once it was empty, getting every last
drop. Narcissa decided that another glass wouldn’t hurt and rose to her feet,
traveling to the kitchen to pour another. Deciding on the way back towards the
parlor that she would rather drink it upstairs in bed, Narcissa has climbed the
first three stairs going up when the front door opened, then slammed shut.

Lucius
walked in, looking rather annoyed at the world for something. He dropped the
snake cane upon the table, where it landed with a heavy thud. He practically
tore off his cloak, tossing it onto the couch. The hat soon followed it and
then the black gloves. Lucius ran a hand through his hair, fixing any
imperfections caused by the hat. He kicked off his black shoes, which has been
shiny when he left but were now muddy, pushing them to the side of the door. It
was only after all of this that he noticed Narcissa on the staircase, wine
glass in one hand, the other on the banister and an annoyed look upon her face.

He pointed
towards the wine glass and commented “You shouldn’t be drinking. You know that.
It’s not good for the children.” Narcissa scoffed. “If you had been home
tonight or actually left your phone on, you would have known that they were
bornr anr an hour ago. What’s the point in having a phone, Lucius, if you never
turn it on?” Narcissa took a sip from the glass as she glared at Lucius. Lucius
simply shrugged the comment off. “Where are they?” “Upstairs, asleep…that is,
if you slamming the door didn’t wake them up.”

Lucius
half-laughed, an almost inaudible sound, then walked up the stairs herehere
Narcissa stood. Looping an arm around her waist, he beckoned her up the stairs.
“Come now, don’t be upset. Of all things, you should be happy tonight, dear.
Now come on, I’d like to see our children.” Narcissa smiled. “Fine, but if you
wake them up, you get them back to sleep.” “If it will get
you to stop griping.”

The two
walked up the stairs together, and by the time they arrived at the top,
Narcissa had finished her wine. Walking into the room, Narcissa handed the
empty glass to the house elf and dismissed it. It left silently with a quick
bow and Narcissa shut the door behind it. Lucius had strode
over to the crib and was standing over it, looking down upon the two sleeping
children. Narcissa joined him and simply smiled. “They’re adorable when they’re
sleeping.” She whispered. Lucius nodded. Narcissa shrugged and continued
quietly. “Anyway, we both got what we wanted: you got your son and I got a
daughter to pamper.” Lucius scoffed loudly at Narcissa, loud enough to wake up
both of the kids, and the son started to cry again. His sister shot him a death
glare and after he didn’t stop, groaned audibly and stared up at her mother,
her face saying ‘WHY ME?! WHY ME?!’

AN-One more quick comment, the title 2 class=SpellE>Chotto Modoshis is mostly in
Japanese. Chotto means little and Modoshi
means sorcerer (or wizard/witch), so it means 2 little sorcerers (wizards).
