“That’s all for now,” Arthur Weasley announced. There was a clattering of chairs as people got up from the long table.
“Bout bloody time,” groaned George, stretching his arms.
“I have some soup,” Molly said brightly to the Order members. “Severus…”
“No thank you,” Snape said making a hasty exit.
“Are you staying, Ginny?” Molly sniffed in a disapproving way.
“Fraid not Mum. I have a previous engagement.”
Fred draped his arm around his sister’s shoulders. “New jumper, fresh washed hair,”tooktook an exaggerated sniff, “and gawd awful perfume. Seems someone has ‘another’ date.”
Ginny shrugged his arm off and gathered her cloak. “Come on Gin,” Bill teased, “who is it this time?”
“Yes, do tell,” Tonks said, knocking into Harry who was trying to help Mrs. Weasley and causing him to drop the stack of bowls he was carrying. “Sorry.”
“No problem, dear,” Molly huffed as she repaired the broken dishes.
“Yeah, who is it? Hermione will tell us if you won’t,” Ron said.
Hermione shook her head. “Can’t help you there. Even though she is my flat mate, she has been closed mouth about her latest beau.”
“I know who it is,” George said, snapping his fingers. “It must be Snape.”
“WHAT?” exclaimed Ron and Harry together.
“Well, she leaves as quick as he does anymore. So you have a thing for tall, dark and greasy, little sis?”
“Please,” Ginny said with a small laugh. “My private life is just that, private.”
Arthur looked as his only daughter with a frown. “If you are ashamed of the person then it doesn’t sound like a healthy relationship.”
“Dad, I am not ashamed,” Ginny protested, her cheeks flushed. “I just want to keep it to myself for awhile.”
****
Ginny sucked on her lip as she lowered herself completely onto him. His hands fondled her small breasts, his grunts of delight breaking the silence as she rode him. Faster and harder she impaled herself on his cock, sweat dripping from her face.
“Merlin, Ginger!” shouted the man as he arched up in completion. Ginny gasped as her own release followed. Collapsing on him, she kissed him soundly. He brushed her hair out of her face. “You really are something,” he said approvingly, a large smile on his face.
Rolling off him, she snuggled against him, listening to his slight panting. “I have asked the House Elves to prepare something special tonight,” he said softly. “I only wish I could take you to the finest restaurant…”
“Someday,” she said assuredly, kissing his neck. “When everything has settled down.”
“Someday,” he echoed, rolling away and sitting up. “Damn it Ginger, you deserve better than this.”
She crawled over to him and wrapped her arms around him. “I am not complaining. You are not the only one with parents that wouldn’t understand.”
He gave her a small smile and kissed her nose. “You are right.” The sound of clattering dishes drew his attention away. “Ah, here is dinner.”
Ginny climbed off the massive bed and slipped on a dressing robe of pure silk, trimmed in black ermine. Her companion put on his own robe and offered her his hand. “Milady,” he said with a sly smile, kissing her hand before leading her over to a small table heavily laden with delicious smelling food.
“Roast pheasant, goose pate, asparagus au gratin and much more for my Ginger,” he said, giving her a toothy smile.
Ginny laughed in delight. She adored being called Ginger, his pet name for her. He thought her given name, Generva was too formal and ‘Ginny sounds like a female ass’ he had said. ‘Ginger suits you. A spice of such sharp delight yet sweet when mixed with the appropriate juices.’
Halfway through dinner, nauseous struck and she found herself fleeing to the loo. “Ginger, luv?” he called outside the door. “Is everything all right?”
“Fine,” she said as she brushed her teeth. “I am not use to such rich food.”
Looking in the mirror, Ginny cringed as she thought of what may be occurring. It wasn’t the first time she had thrown up this week.

Ginny entered the small flat she shared with her best friend, her heart racing. The trip to St Mungos had confirmed her suspicions.
“Hey,” Hermione greeted her, never looking up from a pile of papers she was going through. “How was your day?”
“Fine, just fine.”
Hermione looked up at her friend. “Are you sure? You seem shaken.”
Putting on a smile Ginny waved her hand. “Just a busy day at the shop.”
“I see,” Hermione said, still staring at her friend. “You had another delivery. It’s in your bedroom.”
“Oh.” Ginny exclaimed. “Flowers?”
“No, it looks like it came from a jewelers.”
Ginny hurried to her bedroom to find a package lying on her small. H. Hastily she unwrapped it to find a black velvet box. Opening it, she gasped at the exquisite necklace of blood red rubies in fine platinum.
“So who is he?”
She jumped and turned to see Hermione leaning against the doorframe.
“A very special man,” Ginny said softly fingering the rubies.
“A very rich man,” Hermione said walking over to look at the necklace. “Is he married?”
“What?” Ginny was shocked. “Of course not Hermione Granger, what kind of woman do you think I am?”
“Sorry, but you are so secretive, it was only a guess.”
“You’re forgiven,” Ginny sighed. “Hermione, can I trust you to keep a secret?”
“You should know that by now,” Hermione said, sitting down on the bed.
“I went to see a Healer today. I’m pregnant.”
“I see. Are you happy about it?”
“Ecstatic. I only hope he is. We…it is hard to explain but all I can say is that we will tell everyone when it is safe.”
Hermione looked sharply at her. “Are you seeing someone involved with Voldemort?”
“No,” Ginny said slowly, “Though his family has ties. That is why it is important no one knows. They would use our relationship against him.”
“I don’t like it Ginny,” Hermione proclaimed crossing her arms. “How do you know he isn’t trying to worm information out of you? Does he know you are in the Order?”
“Of course not! I am not foolish. Now I am sorry I said anything.”
“Ginny, I am only concerned and I will keep your secret,” she gave a wry smile.
“However your pregnancy will not stay secret for long. Are you planning to go through with it?”
“Yes.”

He moved within her with long strokes, gazing into her eyes as she came. “You are so
beautiful when you come,” he whispered.
Ginny shuddered as she came down from her high. He had quit moving and was just
gazing down at her. “I could stay this way forever,” he laughed softly “I love being inside
of you.”
“That would make it hard to walk,” she teased kissing him. Pushing his shoulders she
urged him up. Reluctantly he removed from her with a soft pop. Flipping her hair over
her shoulders she kissed her way across his chest and down to his erection. Expertly she
took him in her mouth, rolling his balls around in her hand as she sucked.
“Ah Ginger,” he murmured, spilling into her mouth. Ginny sucked him clean and wiped
her mouth with the back of her hand giving him a small smile.
Pulling her down, he snuggled her close to him. “What is the matter? You have seemed very
preoccupied tonight.”
Burying her face in his neck she nipped him lightly. “Nothing.”
“I know you better than that. In the five months we have been together you have never been so
quiet, my little chatterbox.”
“It’s just…I would like to tell Hermione about us. She is getting suspicious and I would like her to
get to know you like I do.”
He lifted her face and stared in her eyes. “Surely not. I will not share my bed with anyone but you,”
he teased.
She punched him. “You know what I mean.”
They were silent. “So,” he said slowly, “do you think the Mudblood can keep a secret?”
Ginny rose to her elbows. “Don’t call her that!” she said angrily.
“Sorry luv, sorry. Old habits die hard.”
“You are forgiven, this time. And yes, she will keep our secret.”
“If it will make you happy tell her. Hell, invited her dinner this Friday. I would like to show her that
her fears are unfounded,” he said, his gray eyes dancing in delight.

“Hermione. Hermione,” Ginny shook Hermione’s shoulder.
“What…is something wrong?” Hermione sat up looking around her bedroom in alarm.
“Nothing is wrong,” Ginny said happily, sitting down on the bed. “I just have to tell you something.”
“What time is it?”
“A little after three…”
“And it couldn’t wait till morning?” Hermione groaned, flopping back on the bed.
“Fine. If you don’t want to know who I am seeing…”
Hermione sat upright. Ginny laughed. “First, I must have your word that this stays between us, no matter what.”
“Of course.”
“And second, please don’t be so quick to judge.”
“Ginny, you are worrying me. You make it sound like you are seeing Draco Malfoy.” Hermione looked at her friend’s smiling face. “You are not serious?”
“Deadly serious,” Ginny said smiling broadly. “Oh, Hermione, he is so different from the way he was at school…”
“But he is still a Malfoy,” Hermione said sternly.
“Hermione, you haven’t even seen him in two years. He is kind and loving and best of all, he has never joined Voldemort.”
Hermione frowned. “And how do you know that? Did he tell you? Come on Gin, you know how Malfoy hated Mudbloods and Harry.”
“I knew you would react this way. That is why I didn’t tell anyone,” Ginny said angrily. “No one would believe that Draco is a really a good person. He was the way he was at school because of his father. How would be if you heard all your life that only pureblood Wizards were worth anything? Hermione, once he left home, he changed.”
“Leopards don’t change their spots,” Hermione said with sigh. “Ginny, maybe he is just only using you to get to Harry.”
“No!” Ginny said loudly. “In all the time we have been together he has never mentioned Harry.”
Hermione held up her hands. “I believe you Gin. If you trust him then perhaps he has changed.”
“Do you really believe me?”
“Yes.”
“Good then you are invited to dinner Friday night,” she said, a small smile of triumph on her face.
****
“So glad you could come Hermione,” Draco greeted her with a warm handshake and a smile. He was dressed in black trousers and vest with a crisp white shirt. His long blonde hair was gathered at the neck with a silk ribbon. “It has been awhile. May I say, you certainly look lovely.”
Ginny grinned at her friend as she slipped her arm through Draco’s. “One thing hasn’t changed about her,” she teased. “She is still a know-it-all.”
“Ginger,” Draco scolded lightly.
“No, it’s true. But it is a compliment. She has progressed through the Research Department at the Ministry of Magic because she is such a studious person.”
Hermione smiled at the compliment. They entered into a small but elegant dining room. “I must be a very lucky man,” Draco teased as he held a chair out for Ginny then Hermione, “to have the pleasure of two such lovely ladies for the evening.”
Ginny giggled but noticed the frown on Hermione’s face.
After their plates were filled Hermione spoke. “So Draco, Ginny tells me that you have decided not to join Voldemort like your father.” Draco shivered and Ginny flinched.
“Hermione…”
“It’s all right Ginny,” Draco said smoothly. “Granger was always straight to the point. Just like the time she slapped me.” He smiled as he raised his glass to her. Hermione flushed.
“It is a valid question. I don’t know how much Ginger, I mean Ginny, has told you. I was groomed and trained to follow my father’s footsteps in allying myself with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and I really didn’t see any other option for my life. I must thank my mum for giving me the opportunity to explore my life. She insisted that I be given a year to ‘sow my oats’ as she put it before committing myself to anything in life.”
“I am sure your father didn’t like that,” Hermione said stiffly.
“Not at first. But I was bit of a spoilt child and he gave in. I traveled for several months and I emerged myself into Muggle life for a while. I saw that they were just like us. Working, loving and fearful. Although I must admit I do think that pureblood Wizards are superior to others, forgive me, I think there is a place for all in the Wizarding world. If you want to change how society is ran, start with the powers that be. Politics is the answer not senseless bloodshed.”
Ginny’s smiled at Hermione’s shocked expression. “Very well put,” Ginny said, laying a hand on his.
“Yes,” Hermione said. “I am glad you are beginning to see the other side of things.”
Draco laughed. “And I am grateful you were open minded enough to join us tonight, Hermione. I was very unkind to you in school. For that I am truly sorry.”
Hermione blushed. “Thank you.”
“I daresay this calls for a toast,” he said rising and returning with a bottle of champagne. Popping the cork he filled three fluted glasses with the bubbling beverage. “To new beginnings and friendship.”
“And to you and Ginny and your child,” Hermione added. Ginny blushed and shook her head.
“Child?” Draco asked confused. “Ginger…are you with child?”
“Yes,” Ginny said breathlessly.
“I am sorry, Ginny,” Hermione, said aghast. “I thought you had already told him.”
Draco stared at Ginny a moment before putting his glass down. He walked over to her and hugged her soundly. “Is it all right, about the baby I mean?” Ginny asked quietly.
“All right? It’s brilliant,” Draco laughed kissing her cheek. “A toast to the child,” he said picking up his glass once more.
They raised their glasses and drunk deeply. “We will have to keep it quiet for now,” he said. “If my father found out about a child…”
“Of course,” Hermione agreed. “It wouldn’t…do…” She yawned. “Excuse me. If worse comes to worse…” She yawned broadly. “Sorry…didn’t know…I” Hermione slumped in her chair.
“Hermione?” Ginny was on her feet. “What’s wrong with her?” She staggered as she felt an overwhelming tiredness flow over her.
“How rude,” Draco drawled, smirking. “I see the Mudblood still has no manners.”
“Don’t…call…her…” Ginny didn’t finish as darkness overtook her.
****
Feeling like she had slept for hours, Ginny finally opened her eyes. She was lying on the bed she and Draco had shared, her wrist and feet tied to the bedposts. Draco was sitting beside her a wicked smile on his face.
“Pathetic little Weasel,” he crooned, stoking her cheek. “So trusting, so foolish.”
“Where’s Hermione?” she asked thickly trying to shake of the sleepiness.
“The Mudblood is on her way to my Master if not there already,” he smirked.
“No,” Ginny gasped in disbelief. “What master? What have you done Draco?”
“My Master,” he said triumphantly. “The Dark Lord.”
A cold chill washed over Ginny. Was this just a game? “You lie,” she whispered, “you changed, you aren’t like your father.”
“Why would I want to change? I believe in the cause. The Mudbloods and half-breeds have weakened our world until we are in danger of extinction. Soon only squibs will be born and the name Wizard forgotten,” he said bitterly. He gave her a condescending leer.
“Did you think I was misunderstood, tongue lashed by my parents, brain washed by Slytherin? I am proud of who I am, proud to be part of the Dark Lord’s regime, proud to be a Death Eater.”
Ginny flinched. “ I never…saw the mark.”
“Of course not silly girl. It would not do for it to be visible to anyone. Only when we want someone to see does it become visible,” he smirked rolling up his sleeve.
Ginny sobbed as she gazed at the hideous skull and snake mark. “No…”
“Oh yes, Ginger,” he sneered. “My stupid little Ginger. You really fucked up my plan.”
“Plan?” Ginny asked feeling dense and in shock.
“Thanks to your commonness, my plan was altered. Merlin, you Weasley’s breed like Muggles. I used my own contraceptives and I doubted the child was mine however a simple test done on you while you were unconscious by a loyal follower proved that it indeed was. Be thankful it is or you would be with the Mudblood right now enjoying the tortures that only my Master’s followers can inflict.” Draco grinned as she winced.
“Simple plan really. I was to woo you until you were convinced I was trustworthy. Then you could reveal to your mates who I was, that I had changed. An invitation to visit, the drugged champagne and I would have been presenting Potter to the Dark Lord with the others.” His hands gripped her throat. “I could kill you for that. However the child you carry is a Malfoy and you will be kept safe for the most part until it is born. Who know by then the war may be over and perhaps I will allow you to live.”
“But you drunk the champagne too.”
“I had taken the antidote before you arrived,” he drawled shaking his head. “You really aren’t very bright are you?”
“It was all a lie,” Ginny choked out.
“No pet, not all of it. You were the best fuck I ever had,” Draco drawled relaxing the grip on her throat. “My father will be here shortly to take you to your new quarters. He is busy with dear Granger right now.”
‘Hermione’ Ginny was crying now. Draco leaned over and kissed her roughly. “Goodnight Ginger,” he sneered. Rising he left the room.
Ginny stared up at the ceiling as she wept.
