Harry Potter to Graduate?
(REUTERS) J. K. Rowling, the creator of the immensely popular “Harry Potter” series
of books, has announced that the series will continue after the seventh novel.
The series chronicles the adventures of friends Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione
Granger as they attend “Hogwart’s School of Magic.”
Several Christian groups have opposed the series as satanic and occult, going so far as to
stage book-burnings and demonstrations outside theatres showing film adaptations.
Author Rowling, when confronted with questions about the book-burnings, stated,
“It really doesn’t matter to me how many of my books they burn. They must buy them first,
so they are just wasting their hard-earned money.”
The new series, to debut sometime in the year 2005, will be targeted at adult audiences.
Some tentative titles are listed below:
Harry Potter and the Queen of the Purple Triangle
Harry Potter and the Whipped Cream Hooker
Harry Potter and Hermione’s Hole
Harry Potter and the Legend of Weasley’s Wand
Harry Potter and Malfoy’s Magnificent Member
Harry Potter and the Submissive Professor Snape
Harry Potter and Hagrid’s Mysterious Hole
SPECIAL PRISON EDITION: Harry Potter and Backdoor Buford
Harry Potter and the Fanciful Fister
For the stoners:
Harry Potter and the Secret Stash
Harry Potter and the Heavenly Hashish
Harry Potter and the Magically Expanding Poppy Field
Will the “Harry Potter” series survive the new attacks by the so-called “Religious Right?”
Time will tell.
