“It’s always been you...” he touched his fingertips to her cheek, then wrapping his slender fingers around the nape of her neck, pulled her close to him. “I saw you in the mirror... please don’t leave me again.”
A sad smile graced her lips as her eyes swelled unshed tears. “Never again, never ...” she whispered, ”the Dark Lord couldn’t pull me away...”
“I love you Hermione.” wrapping both his arms around her then, settling his face in her hair.
“I love you too... you’ve always had my heart.” Wrapping her own arms around his waist, she put her head on his chest and they held each other for eternity.
