Harry Potter a new way of life

Harry potter the boy who lived was currently in the back yard of 4 privet drive. He was working on the new flower bed Aunt Petunia had gotten him to construct the day after he got back from Hogwarts. Surprisingly for Harry the work didn't feel too hard as it once was when he was younger. Must be all the years of manual labor catching up on me Harry thought.
Harry straitened his back after all the shoveling and pushed the wheel barrow round to the front were he dumped it on the driveway and filled it up again from the trailer of mulch aunt petunia had ordered from the local nursery for the new garden beds. Harry wheeled the barrow round to the back again and found tow large roast lame and salad sandwiches on a plait sitting on the garden bench were he had first seen Dobby the house elf. Harry sat down on the bench and slowly began to eat his sandwiches as Aunt Petunia would be on his back if he was doing anything else then working, sleeping, showering, dressing, cooking, \'\'conducting business\'\' or eating so Harry took his time. Even though he had had a big breakfast Harry was famished and it didn't take him long to consume the modest sized sandwiches.
Better get back to work before aunt petunia starts harassing me Harry mused. He quickly stood up and started into the kitchen to wash his plate. Aunt Petunia was waiting in the kitchen and quickly took his plait obviously wanting him to get back to work. Harry did an about face and headed back into the back yard were he continued to shovel the new mulch into the flower beds.
By the time he got to the bathroom that night after dinner it was 7pm and Harry had finished the garden beds including all the plants, shoveled all the unwanted dirt into the trailer and had given the front fence a new lick of paint. Harry striped off all his clothes and hoped in the shower, cleaned and \'\'serviced\'\' himself, the water was cold but Harry didn't mined as he had never been allowed it ever since he had been living at the Dursleys about 15 years ago. Harry turned the water of and hoped out dried himself and brushed his teeth. As Harry was leaving the bath room he caught a glimpse of himself in the bathroom mirror. From what Harry could tell he had not grown a good deal since the hollidays had started. He had noticed though that he had gained a little bit of mussel in his tries byes calf thie and abdominal areas.
Harry made shore the towel around his waist was secure and mad his way to his room. Harry gave Hedwig a pat as he entered his domain a place were none of the Dursleys dared to go a place were Harry could do his homework in peace. He replenished Hedwig's owl treats and water and made his way over to his desk were a letter with the Hogwarts crest embossed on it was waiting for him. Must be my school letter although it's awfully early as opposed the previous years, maybe the found someone willing to fill the dada position. Harry opened the letter and palled the largest piece of parchment out and unfolded it and started reading.
Dear Harry
I hope that your summer is going well and you're not having a hard time dealing with Sirius's death. On a lighter note I'm pleased to inform you that all your friends from the department of mysteries incident have fully recovered and are all making the most of there summer as I hope you are too.
Harry I'm afraid that I also have some bad news as well. You will not be attending Hogwarts again in the near future. The Hogwarts governors have decided to conditionally remove you from Hogwarts until further notice. The conditions of the removal are as follows. First you will not have your wand broken due to the fact that you didn't even intend to take anyone with you to the department of mysteries and that they went even though you told them not to. Seconded you will not be banned from the possibility of attending Hogwarts in the future after a consulting with a parole board.
I hope your not the upset on hearing this and have included a list of possible wizarding schools that are suitable for your future education.

Harry was shocked but after an hour it had sunk into his head that after an incident like the department of mysteries it was very unlikely that no action would be taken due to his record. Harry was surprised that this hadn't happened earlier considering all the trouble that surrounded him. Still Harry new that he would miss his friends terribly and decided to write them a letter as soon as possible informing them what had happened.
The next piece of parchment that Harry pulled out of the envelope was his owl scores.

Fore the second time that evening Harry was shocked at the amount of OWL\'S he had managed to achieve considering astronomy he had never finished. Harry quickly got over his shock and managed to see that he had received perfect scores fore COMC and DADA. Harry had expected to get pretty high in these two subjects but hadn't expected that. He put his results on the bedside table whilst making a mental note to himself to mention this in Hermione's letter.
There was one piece of paper left in the envelope. Harry took it out and slowly unfolded it half expecting it to byte due to all the surprises that he had had in the past few minutes. It was from professor Snape.........
Mr. Potter
I am most delighted on the revelation of your future absence and must say that I look forward to another potter free Hogwarts this year.
I am righting this letter to say that I will no longer be teaching you occumalancy this year as I have no time to teach a nobody like you how to protect your foolish and week mined. I also wanted to say that it was a waist of time trying to teach you from the start and Dumbledore new it but I suppose he didn\'t give up completely so he laid the burden on me.
Good riddance Harry Potter I hope I never have to lay eyes on you again

Harry put the letter down and stared out the window. He new that most of what Snape had said in his spiteful letter was not true. The PS though Harry could not ignore because he had seen with his own eyes how intolerable his father had acted in those war stricken times. Harry had already forgiven his father for the oppression he had forced on Snape. In Harry's eyes James hadn\'t grown up yet or he wouldn\'t have treated other human beings with such disrespect that Harry thought nobody should have to go through.
Harry was sorry for the way Snape had been treated at school. Although he did not think that he should be used as a pressure valve that Snape could just let of steam through just because his father had been involved in his dreadful upbringing. As far as Harry was concerned it was something witch happened between Snape and James and didn\'t see how Snape had the right to pick on him for something James and Sirus were to blame.
Harry realized he had spent the last hour going through the letters and decided that he would write a ruff draft of the letters he would send to his friends before he went to bed. He got to bed at about 9pm that night. While Harry laid there trying to go to sleep Harry thought about how his life was going to change and how he was going to make the most of it as Harry fell asleep he thought for just a moment what it might be like to live in Japan.
The next morning Harry was awoken by a beautiful song. He got out of bed finding he had slated naked stood up and walked over to Fawks who was sitting on his desk next to a A4 sized envelope addressed to him in green spindly writing he recognized as Dumbledore. He opened the envelope and tipped out its contents onto the desk before giving Fawks an owl treat which he refused in preferance of some water out of hedwig\'s cage.
Harry looked at the pamphlets on his desk from the schools in the list Dumbledore had suggested in his last letter. They all pretty much offered the same types of courses as Hogwarts. The only acceptation to this rule was the Japanese \'\'tech/wizard\'\' courses. These Harry read were a mixture between muggle chemistry, charms and transfiguration. There were also magic theory/arithmacy class which by it\'s description helped in the creation of formula's for different spells and how to combine different magic's to perform new charm through the alteration of other spells, the institute also offered mathematic courses that were compulsorily with the theory/arithmacy.
these extra courses which were quite a new introduction to the schools syllabus were what Harry based his choice on when he rote to Dumbledore that evening informing him that he had chosen the "Japanese Tokyo Tech/wizard Institution of Learning". The letter Harry had sent the headmaster just informed which school he wished to be transferred to and the courses he wanted to do. These include.

There were only five courses because MTA (Magical Theory/Arithmacy) and Tech (Technical studies) included a lot of subject material for example Tech included chemistry, charms and transfiguration were as MTA included maths, arithmacy and theory.
Harry had chosen these courses because he always thought muggles were under rated in there battle strategies, weapons, self defense techniques and technology. Harry\'s aim was to bring muggle technology together with magic into a useful and effective weapon that the Death Eaters won't have a clue what there up against.
Harry already had an idea to achieve this. His idea was of a handgun that shot charmed bullets that could rip through magical shields and cause different magical side affects such as incapacitation to stop the target and healing to make shore they don\'t die from the impact of the bullet.
Dumbledore replied to his letter the next evening saying that he would be round to pick him up at 10pm that night and to be ready with everything ready to go. That is what Harry was doing at the very moment. So fare Harry had collected everything in his room but decided to wait for Dumbledore to get his wizard gear from under the stairs.
Harry finished and decided to wait outside for Dumbledore because he new the wards might interfere with apperation. He was waiting for Dumbledore when he noticed that some of the street lights were going one one by one. It wasn't long before it was completely pitch black and he wondered if it wasn\'t dementores again. Harry herd the gate squeak as someone opened it and walked up to the front door of the house and knocked. Harry walked up behind the man he recognized from the way they walked with big strides and taped him on the shoulder. The man turned around in a flash with a wand in his hand pointing at Harry.
"Luminous" the man muttered. Harry blinked as a bright light shone in his eyes.
"Who are you" Harry asked.
"Albus Dumbledore of course, but more importantly who are you"
"It\'s me Sir Harry don\'t you recognize me it\'s only been a few day\'s since we saw each other last"
"If you are Harry Potter like you say you are then you would know witch school you would be attending this year"
"JTTWIL" Harry answered "Japanese Tokyo Tech/Wizard Institute of Learning."
"Well you certainly changed Harry.\"
"I had planed on using a glamour spell to change your appearance but know all I have to do is change your eye color and hair"
\"Dumbledore what may i ask is so diferent about my apperance.\'\'
Dumbledore thought for a moment and said \"nothing realy, i just could not recocnise you untill i belived you were who you are which
required you to answer my question.\'\'dumbledore paused again and said \"I have read of read of occurances during voldemots last reagn about this type of magical phanominom, aparently the person afected by it could block someone frome recognising them through shere will power\"
"Well" Harry interrupted to distract dumbledore from his musings \'\'All my stuff is in my room except for my magical stuff which I need you to retrieve from the cupboard under the stairs"
"Very well Harry lead the way"
Harry opened the front door and led Dumbledore over to the cupboard that a ridiculously big padlock keeping it shut. Dumbledore whispered an alohamora and the lock clicked open he then opened the door and shrunk all his magical possessions and put them in a small plastic box.
"Why are you putting my stuff in that box?"
"Its a magic container I got off your new headmaster who suggested we use it if we planed to get to Japan by plane. It stops magic from interfering with any muggle technology such as metal detectors. It will also hide any metal items; I believe you will be learning how to make these this year."
"Really I\'ve never heard of anything like it"
"That\'s understandable, it's very new field of study due to the fact that muggle computers have only been about for a few decades"
"That makes sense I hope it comes of some use"
"I\'m shore if any one can make use of it you will Harry"
Harry went and got his stuff from his room wile Dumbledore looked around the Dursleys house.
"I\'m done" Harry announced as he walked down the stairs careful not to make a sound.
"Don\'t you want to say goodbye to the Dursleys" Dumbledore inquired.

"But wouldn\'t they be worried about you"

"Why"
"Why" Harry repeated "Because Dumbledore we have never given a fuck about each other unless they were worried about my freakishness" Harry finished spitefully.

Dumbledore reached into his robes and pulled out a Hogwarts fork and held it out to Harry. Harry took hold of it and immediately felt the now familiar tug behind his navel.
When Harry had landed, on his feet for once, he noticed that they were in a small park and he could here planes nearby. Dumbledore now dressed in a business suit and he must have used a glamour charm on himself because he didn\'t have a beard and his hair was short.
"Your turn Harry, I\'ll only be changing your hair and eye color as extra precaution."
He then proceeded to wave his wand and Harry felt his hair growing rapidly until Harry could see it was just past his shoulders. Dumbledore muttered another word and his hair was trimmed and tidy as well as getting rid of all his split ends conditioning it and straitening it. Dumbledore finished of with a little wave and handed Harry a mirror. When Harry looked in it even he wouldn't be able to recognize himself.
"Not all of it\'s glamour only the eyes all I did with your hair was magically grow it out of that great big mop of hair you had before, straiten it, condition and trim. It is real hair and there's no magic in it so it wont were of."
"It\'s great" Harry said "much better then my usual mop and it looks really good, maybe you should become a hairdresser when your senile and nobody has any other use for you"
"Thank you for the compliment Harry" Dumbledore thanked good naturedly"But what makes you think I\'m not already"
Harry and Dumbledore lathed loudly, finally Harry got his breath back and asked why he hadn\'t opened a salon yet. This sent them into another round of laughter.

"Its a magic container I got off your new headmaster who suggested we use it if we planed to get to Japan by plane. It stops magic from interfering with any muggle technology such as metal detectors. It will also hide any metal items; I believe you will be learning how to make these this year."

Harry went and got his stuff from his room wile Dumbledore looked around the Dursleys house.
"I\'m done" Harry announced as he walked down the stairs careful not to make a sound.
"Don\'t you want to say goodbye to the Dursleys" Dumbledore inquired.
"No"
"But wouldn\'t they be worried about you"
"No they wouldn\'t"
"Why"
"Why" Harry repeated "Because Dumbledore we have never given a fuck about each other unless they were worried about my freakishness" Harry finished spitefully.

"Whatever"
Dumbledore reached into his robes and pulled out a Hogwarts fork and held it out to Harry. Harry took hold of it and immediately felt the now familiar tug behind his navel.
When Harry had landed, on his feet for once, he noticed that they were in a small park and he could here planes nearby. Dumbledore now dressed in a business suit and he must have used a glamour charm on himself because he didn\'t have a beard and his hair was short.
"Your turn Harry, I\'ll only be changing your hair and eye color as extra precaution."
He then proceeded to wave his wand and Harry felt his hair growing rapidly until Harry could see it was just past his shoulders. Dumbledore muttered another word and his hair was trimmed and tidy as well as getting rid of all his split ends conditioning it and straitening it. Dumbledore finished of with a little wave and handed Harry a mirror. When Harry looked in it even he wouldn't be able to recognize himself.
"Not all of it\'s glamour only the eyes all I did with your hair was magically grow it out of that great big mop of hair you had before, straiten it, condition and trim. It is real hair and there's no magic in it so it wont were of."
"It\'s great" Harry said "much better then my usual mop and it looks really good, maybe you should become a hairdresser when your senile and nobody has any other use for you"
"Thank you for the compliment Harry" Dumbledore thanked good naturedly"But what makes you think I\'m not already"
Harry and Dumbledore lathed loudly, finally Harry got his breath back and asked why he hadn\'t opened a salon yet. This sent them into another round of laughter.
