A Dream You Would Wish To Forget

Hermione wakes up in a daze wondering where the hell she is
Looking around she finds herself in her nightgown in the middle of a dark forest
A fluffy orange white colored cat lies curled up beside her
Last thing she remembered was being at home with her muggle parents, them hugging her goodnight
She stands up and starts moving around in the dark, the cat wakes up
\"Why are you up so early? The guys aren\'t due back for hours!\" the cat said
Hermione was surprised but able to utter a few words
\"Wait a damn second, did you just talk? Why am I here? And who do you mean with the guys?\"
The response came quickly
\"First of all cursing is bad for your kharma, and don\'t you remember anything that has happened in the last two weeks?\"
Hermione shook her head
\"Okay guess your mind must want to forget it, I probably would have the same problem if it happened to me. Are you sure you want to know?\"
Hermione nods
\"Two weeks ago in the middle of the night all the death eaters that had been locked inside Azkaban somehow escaped, everyone was prudently warned with owls,
But some people\'s warnings came too late, for instance for you..... While you slept, a group of death eaters went into your house and killed your parents.
But they left you alone, so you could live with the horror of what happened.\"
The cat now stopped talking, knowing he had triggered her memories enough so he could go back to sleep.
Hermione now crying, screams at a bone chilling pitch, as the memories flood back
Hermione had woken up that morning , smelling the stench of death in her house.
She walked slowly to her parents bedroom dreading what she hoped hadn\'t happened, Hermione after entering their room, screams in horror,
Everywhere it stated the same thing,
\"Stay away from hogwarts mudblood\"
It was carved on her parent\'s backs, and written in their blood all over the walls. She fell in tears and let the pain numb her restless mind; her tears mixed with the blood of her parents turning the puddle in which she was laying a dark shade of pink.
An owl arrived a while later, but Hermione was still too stunned by the heavy emotional blow she had just received, to bother too open the letter she just yelled for it to go away. Hedwig complied after dropping the letter in the hallway where it was safe from any bloodstains likely to accumulate if it was dropped in Mr. and Mrs. Granger\'s bedroom. Being the smart owl that Hedwig was it made sure to get some blood on it\'s feathers, if it can\'t get Hermione to reply to tell something\'s wrong this will be a good alternative to warn Harry that there is something wrong.
Satisfied that it had achieved it\'s goal it left to deliver the warning to it\'s master.
