Chapter One: Encounters
Draco sighed as he reached Platform Nine and Three Quarters. He was finally there, his seventh year at Hogwarts. This was the year everything would go his way. He would finally surpase that mudblood, Granger, as head of the class. He would finally beat Potter in Quittich and win the House Cup. He would finally stop disappointing his father. Lucius Malfoy, one of the few Death Eaters that had escaped pursecution after Voldemort\'s demise. He was the only person Draco could never appease. Something was always wrong when it came to his father. He could never be good enough. Well, he would be this year, he promised himself as he walked onto the train, his Head Boy badge shining proudly on his chest. His trademark smirk, as always, plastered onto his face. He almost laughed as a few scared first years hid themselves in compartments as he passed by. He could hear some of them whispering, \"Isn\'t that Draco Malfoy?\" \"Oh, he\'s so dreamy... look at him..\" Draco turned to tell them to get back into their compartments when he slammed into something warm and soft.
A woman. He could tell instantly. Lush curves pressed against his Quittich toned body. His hands instinctivly wrapped around her slender waist, pulling her closer as the train lurched foreward, sending them off balance and into an empty compartment. Draco landed on his back, the girl atop him. Long waves landed on his face as the girl let out a soft exclaim of alarm. Strawberries and vanilla floated around her, the smell intoxicated him. He could feel himself responding to her small body against him. He gritted his teeth and willed himself to think about anything else.. something else. Think Snape, he told himself...Snape naked on a cold day... Snape naked on a cold day.. It worked until the girl shot up in his lap, her hands against his chest, her legs straddling him. The light finally flashed over her face, and even her identity couldn\'t lessen his arousal. \"Granger?\"
His eyes widened as he looked over her. Gone were the days of buck teeth and bushy hair. Her hair was a waterfall of sleek curls that cascaded down her back. Her skin was tan, her body toned. Hermione was still wearing her muggle clothes, a small blue skirt with a shimmery blue tube top. A small portion of her stomach was showing, enough to reveal a small blue crystal in her belly button. Unconcious of his actions, his hand came across her stomach to circle the blue orb. Her skin was like a stone wrapped in silk. He could feel her muscles twitch at the touch of his hand. A small exclimation brought his eyes to her face. She was just looking at him, not saying a word. Her eyes were wide and the most beautiful shade of brown he had ever seen. The Quittich pitch after a rainstorm. That was the only way he could describe the color. Brown mixed with green and yellow. Cat\'s eyes. When did she turn this pretty? He asked himself.
Not that he cared, of course.

Hermione Granger couldn\'t believe the situation she was in. There she was, plain as day, straddling Draco Malfoy. The compartment was dark, save for the flashes of daylight coming in through the windows. She watched in facination as the light passed over his face, making him look almost like an angel. Well, a fallen one, at least. His blonde locks fell across his forehead... It was almost endearing... for Malfoy, she guessed. Hermione noticed her hands were still firmly planted on his hard chest. She looked down at her hands, fisted in his shirt, but made no move to remove them. She had to admit, he did look good. He had on his uniform, but not his robes, so Hermione could see Draco Malfoy in all of his clothed glory. It was like looking at a finely crafted sculpture. David, perhaps. The same marble skintone, the same chisled features. He was, indeed, like a fine sculpture. His eyes were the most remarkable thing about him, though. His eyes were pools of mercury. She felt as if she could drown in them, in him.
Hermione felt she might die when she felt his hand caress her stomach. It was like liquid fire straight to her center. What in the world was going on? This was Malfoy, for Merlin\'s sake. She felt her muscles clench against his fingers. A soft gasp came from her throat as she finally felt his hardness against her. It was like slow motion as he sat up, his hands keeping her firmly planted against his hips. She could feel his breath against her face, their noses almost touching, his eyes fixed on hers. Her hands were trapped between them, his hands anchored her hips to his. He stared at her for what seemed like hours, until Hermione felt herself blush. Why did he keep looking at her like he had never seen her before?
Draco watched as Hermione opened her mouth to say something. Knowing Granger, it was probably had something to do about his lineage and bloodlines. Not wanting to hear it, Draco did the only thing he could think of to shut her up. He kissed her. It was a brief kiss, maybe five seconds at the most, but it achieved the desired effect. When Draco pulled away from Hermione, her eyes were wide open with shock, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
\"Oi, Hermione!\" Came from the doorway, making Hermione jump off of Draco\'s lap. It was none other than Ronald Weasley.
\"Ron!\" Hermione cried (a little too cheerfully for Draco\'s taste), running over to him and hugging him. Draco watched as Ron wrapped his arms around Hermione. A bitter feeling hit him in the pit of his stomach. Jelousy? Draco scoffed. Never. Hermione snuck a glance at Draco. \"We were just... you know.. Malfoy and I...\"
\"Hermione, did he hurt you?\" Ron whispered to Hermione, shooting daggars at Draco.
Draco rose from the floor, an indigenent smirk on his face. \"No Weasel, I didn\'t hurt a member of your precious trio. Granger fell, on top of me, might I add..\"
\"You bastard! What did you do to make her fall?\" Ron blustered, advancing on Draco. Hermione tried to hold him back, but Ron was too unreasonable. \"What did you do, you inbred ferret?\" Ron yelled, grabbing Draco by his collar and pushing him up against the wall.
Draco smirked. \"Weasel, you really need some anger management.\"
\"Screw you, Malfoy.\" Ron sputtered, ramming his fist in Draco\'s stomach.
Hermione sprang into action. \"Ron... Ron stop it!!\" She cried, trying to pull Ron off of Draco. \"Leave him alone.. nothing happened!\" But it was like Ron couldn\'t hear her. Hermione watched as Draco and Ron exchanged punches. There was nothing she could do.. she didn\'t have her wand with her, and neither boy was paying attention to her pleas for common sense and mercy. Well, she had to admit, she was talking to two of the most pig-headed boys she had ever come across.
Hermione thought it would never end, until a small voice came from the doorway. \"Leave my brother alone!\"
Draco looked up as if he had been hit with the killing curse. He was horrified. \"Millie..\" he whispered, stepping towards the child, only to have Ron try at him again. Draco grabbed at Ron\'s clawing hands. \"Damn it, Weasley, enough!\" He bellowed, finally freeing himself from Ron\'s grip. Draco\'s eyes fixed themselves on the small child. \"Millie, come on, I was just having a conversation...\"
The girl frowned, her silver eyes boring into Draco. \"You were fighting again, Draco. I thought you promised me..\"
Draco\'s eyes softened. \"I know what I promised you, Millie.\" Draco walked over to the girl and put his arm around her shoulders. Draco stood tall as he stood next to her, dwarfing the girl into looking like a midget. Draco\'s eys settled from the girl to Hermione. \"Hermione Granger, this is my sister, Mileficent Malfoy. Millie, this is Head Girl, Hermione Granger. Next to her, is Ron Weasley. ley, ley, my sister, Millie.\" The tension in the room could have been cut with a knife. Draco looked at the two Gryffindor\'s with cold eyes. They were looking at his sister like she was Fluffy, the three headed dog. Finally, Draco had enough. \"Come on, Millie.\" He told her, guiding her towards the door. He gave Hermione one final look. \"I\'ve had enough slumming for one day.\"
