A/N: This is my response to The Alphabet Challenge (Love Version) issued by Mary (craZchica) at WIKTT. I am a rabid reader of all HP parings and adore a great many of the Snape/Hermione stories I have read. With all of the excellent SS/HG fics out there, I have never before dared to try and write one myself. This challenge, however, has intrigued me so much that I\'m am forced to give it a whirl.
THE CHALLENGE (copied from WIKTT):
The Alphabet Challenge (Love Version) (ends 04.04.16)
The Basic Idea:
A series of ficlets, obviously Hermione/Snape-centric. In honor of Valentines Day, this is the \"Love Version\", meaning that the fics you\'ll write and the words you\'ll see on the list are a bit inclined to the romantic side. ;)
What follows is a list of 26 words, one for each letter of the alphabet. Your challenge is to write a fic that uses these words.
There are two ways you can write this:
1. One-shot story, with all 26 words in alphabetical order.
2. A series of ficlets / a chaptered story. Be it 100 word drabbles, or ng dng drawn out fic, the length of your story is up to you. If you choose to post this on ff.net or aff.net, there needs to be a new chapter for each word. If you choose this option, only the first chapter needs to be up by the 16t Apr April.
- Use at least three words (so at least 3 chapters/ficlets)
- You don\'t need to post in alphabetical order. Just post as you\'re inspired :)
Other Requirements/Stuff:
- Only use one word for each chapter, and the word MUST appear. It can\'t just be the title of the chapter.
- Since this is the Love Version, make it a romantic story. It doesn\'t have to start out that way. They can begin by not liking each other at all, but they need to be together by the end. Genre of fic (humor, angst, drama, etc) is up to you.
- 7th Year or later Hermione. :)
- If you\'re not sure of a definition, check out http://www.dictionary.com for it. You\'re also welcome to use different variations of the word (like reverence, or revered, etc). Try to use them in a unique manner, if you can :)
- Lets make it at LEAST a PG13 rating ;)
