Ron and Hermione have come to terms with
their rionsionship. Had to hear him babble all night about his misery. I pointed
out that we had Quidditch practise early in the morning and we should get some
sleep. He went berserk and accused me of being a ‘self-centred egoistic prat’.
Bumped into Malfoy first thing this
morning… worse luck! He said, ‘Don’t you ever clean your glasses, Potter?’ How
mean can you get?
Negotiations are going on between my two
best friends for a return to their boyfriend-girlfriend state. I just think
they need to snog properly.
Just my luck to have double Potions as my first lesson! Got paired up with
Malfoy… again. I was silly enough to get irritated by his insults and
Snape took 50 points from Gryffindor. I opened my mouth to protest as to why,
but he shot me one of his ‘just because’ glares.
Professor Trelawney’s prediction for this
year was: Harry Potter will suffer a most painful death. Lavender gasped, Ron
laughed and I rolled my eyes. Her Inner-eye is becoming annoyingly predictable.

books after he stumbled upon me this afternoon; that had to be some kind of
sick joke.
Looking forward to my first Hogsmeade
weekend of the term. I need fresh air and loneliness.

he keeps observing me and being nice to me. But I won’t buy any of it.
‘Maybe he’s reconsidering his future as a servant for the Dark Lord’. How
hopeful can you get?

Draco Malfoy is haunting my dreams. I was
sitting by the lake and he walked up to me wearing a big round badge that read

Something funny happened this morning. I
was walking down to the Great Hall when Malfoy appeared round the corner
looking slightly flushed. He shoved a piece of parchment in my hand and ran
away without a word.

What’s the deal with Trelawney anyway,
changing her lessons’ timetable?
I must’ve missed something in that note Malfoy
gave me because when I got there last night there were no students at all…
actually, it was just him sitting on one of the couches and looking all fidgety
and shy.

went all like Duh? And I went likelike I’ve got a class to attend so
don’t waste my time, and he was all like you’re mental, and looked
hurt and disappointed and strode out of the room.
Told Hermione about my little incident with
Malfoy last night and she gaped at me and said, ‘Honestly Harry! How thick can
you get?’. I have no idea what she was on about; probably she’s just stressed.
He said, ‘We need to talk’, so I listened. He continued, ‘I like you’, and I
was all alarmed and scared and Oh no! and he was all expectant so I
answered, ‘I don’t think we can be friends…’. He arched an eyebrow in confusion
and I went back to my common room.
Oh! Oh! The actual meaning of Malfoy’s
words just sunk in. I’m in anguish! What now? Is he going to sexually harass me
instead of just insulting me? Whoever said my life could not get any worse…
Went straight to the dungeons this
morning determined to have a word with Malfoy. I found him halfway there and I
stated clearly, ‘I’m not queer’, but he must’ve misunderstood something because
he kissed me on the lips. Yuk! Yuk! Yuk!
what with his manners and all… maybe I should have used homosexual or
just said ‘I don’t like you that way’… (as if I’ll ever like him in any
way. Ha!)
