Sometimes
***This is written in Harry and Draco\'s POV at differnt times...the first chapter is a game for you to figure out who exactly is talking...HAVE FUN!!!
*disclaimer* Bet you can\'t guess who owns these characters...cause it\'s not me! But, I thank THE J.K. Rowling for giving me something to play with!
The wind was sharp. Bitterly cold. Stinging my face till it ached in a dull sweet way. The stars were out again. For days they had stayed hidden beneath heavy blankets of clouds. There was a mocking brightness to them. A tug of loneliness pulled my eyes to the ground. Struggling, I kept my eyes ahead. The music blaring from my portable CD player blurred together. Jumbled words mixing with soft melodies and sexy voices. From somewhere I knew I was crying but I didn’t feel the tears.
It was because I had fought my whole life not to cry. Tears were signs of weakness. And life was a game of survival. I reacted violently when the saltiness reached my lips. I felt the blood on my face as I clawed away the dripping emotions. Angry and ing ing all the more foolish, I wiped the blood away.
No longer sure of the time, or even the location I was in, I wanted to stop. Curl up into a tiny ball. Sleep until the sun poked me awake. A simple enough solution would be turning around and going home. It just wasn’t an option. There was no past. No future. Just an open road with no where to go.
*~*~*
What does one think at three a.m. and lost on some abandoned highway? All those times I laughed and just knew I didn’t need a cell phone. The directions I had were cryptic. The roads worse. I peered into the open darkness praying to find some sign of civilization.
Obviously the person walking in the middle of the road startled me.
Pulling to a screeching halt, I winced. That was not a good sound. I wanted to get out and scream at the person I nearly hit until the scared feeling went away. When I opened the door my mouth never moved. My eyes fixed on him. Taller than I last remembered him. His white blond hair falling in waves down to his shoulders. His pale cheeks were flushed. His gray eyes wide with alarm. “Draco?” I knew my voice cracked by chose to ignore it.
“Harry?” His voice was like liquid velvet. Soft. Sexy. Caressing my name in his mouth like an exotic wine.
“Fancy meeting you here.” I felt a stab of embarrassment hit me. Fancy meeting you here. That was rich.
The familiar smirk caused me to grin sheepishly. It had been five years since I had seen him last. At graduation. Not exactly the most pleasant of good-byes. It was no secret he hated me. And I him.
Still it was three a.m., a chilly night, and I lost somewhere in the English countryside. It wasn’t where you metwithwith old friends. Or bitter enemies.
Why lie about it? I was attracted to him. Every pale, angry inch. There was something seductively evil about him.
“Want a ride?”
****So yeah, that\'s the first chapter...I know, it needs work, Review and respond, I don\'t mind, just no mean stuff...you\'ll break my fragile ego. The next chapter will be up soon!
