Author\'s note* This is set when Remus and Sirius and James are all sixth year\'s at Hogwart\'s.

Love\'s Worst Enemy

I quickly scanned the dim dungeon and smiled as I made my way over to my three best friends. James Potter spotted me and waved, \"Glad to see you could make it Moony.\"
I smiled at that,\"You know me, I always have to be the last one to class.\"
My two other friends, Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew roll their eyes. I glanced around the room and frowned slightly. Sirius notices and leans forward,\" Who are you looking for?\"
I jumped looking at him, \"Severus.\"
\"Why?\" Sirius asks, hatred flashing in his blue eyes.
I feel myself ,\"H,\"He\'s my lab partner and we have to make up last week\'s assignments. If he\'s not here I\'m going to kill him.\"


Just then Severus entered, his head down. I watched him as he made his way over to me, sitting down. A few seconds later Lucius entered, a smug smile on his face. He walked over to the group of Slytherin\'s and started talking to them. Professor Mentling cameo tho the room and cleared her throat, \" People! People! Please take your proper seats and stop talking!\" James and Sirius sat down at their table up front, and Peter, unwillingly, sat down next to Lucius. I sat next to Severus and stared at him. He kept his head down as the professor talked,\" As you all know, this is potions six and seven. Aodayoday you and yourtnertner are going to make truth potions, so be quiet and pay attention.\" I leaned toward Severus, my voice lowered, \"Are you okay Severus?\" I asked, concern written on my face.


Severus turn\'s and glares at me,\"I\'m fine. Leave me alone.\"
I hesitantly put my hand on his leg, \"Severus, look at me.\"
Severus jerks away form me and glares, \"I said leave me alone.\" He looks past me, then back up at the teacher. I look at the table next to me and find Lucius Malfoy staring at me with an odd look on his face. I quickly lower my head and pretend to take notes. After all the proper directions were given, we were left on our own. Severus began cutting the mandrake root into small cubes, as I started crushing garlic blossoms. We worked in silence the rest of the class.

\"Okay! Now bottle the potions and put them in your storage compartments. You will test them on each other next class.\" The professor walked up to our table.
\"You two will need to stay after class as long as you have to to make up your missing assignments.\"
We nodded and the professor left. Sirius, James and Peter walked up to us.
\"Meet us in the common room after you\'re done?\" James asked, trying to keep the other two from laughing. I nd grd grinning.
\"Later Moony!\" Peter called out as they left with the rest of the students.



After they left I turned to Severus, \"Tell me what\'s wrong.\"
Severus ignored me looking over some of his old notes, \"You don\'t have to pretend to be my friend. It wont get you any closer to him.\"
I stared at him shocked, \"What are you talking about?\"
Severus laughed, \"Lucius! I can\'t make him like you. Even if I could I wouldn\'t.\"
\"What do you mean if you c?\" ?\"
Severus stood up and grabbing his books,\"Lucius dumped me! Is that what you wanted to hear! He doesn\'t love me anymore. Are you happy? Now you finally have a chance.\" He turned around and stormed out of the classroom.
I sighed and began to clean up the table. I didn\'t hear Lucius walk up behind me, taking a seat at the table next to me. I picked up my books, turning around. I gasped nearly dropping my belongings.
\"Lu-lucius...what are you doing here?\"
Lucius smiled and stood up, slowly walking up to me.

\"I was wondering how long it would take for you to notice me.\" He smirked as I glanced at the door.
\"In a hurry to get somewhere Remus?\"
I shook my head.
\"Good, because I wanted to have a word with you. Is that okay?\"
I just stared at him, distrust clearly written all over my face.
\"Howut Iut I sit over here.\" He pointed to the chair behind him, \" and you sit over there?\"
I just nodded and sat down, two tables away from him. We stared at each other until I started feeling uncomfortable, \"What did you want to talk to me about?\"
Lucius smiled, “As you probably already heard, Severus and I are no longer an item.”
I stared at Lucius, a blank look on my face. “What does that have to do with me?”
Lucius stood up walking over to me, “It has everything to do with you. I broke up with Severus because of you.”


I looked at Lucius, “Why?” I questioned.
Lucius laughed a deep throaty laugh, which caused me to shudder. “ Because you want me.” Lucius answered putting his hands on the desk and his face right in front of mine.
“I-I don\'t know what your talking about Malfoy.” I started sliding my chair away from him.
“You know what I\'m talking about. But don\'t worry because I want you too.\"
I stopped moving away from Lucius looking at him. \"What?!\" "I. "I. Want. You. I\'ve wanted you for over two years now.\"
I jumped up feeling myself start to panic,\" Are you crazy?! I , ye, yeah so what if I do lust after you. Do you know what would happen if people found out?\"
Lucius laughed again, \"Half of my house already know, and I\'m sure at least one of your friends can tell about you.\"
I nodded in agreement, then stopped, \"Why are you telling me this?\" Suspicion wrapped itself around my body as I took a step back toward the door.
\"Please don\'t run Remus. Just here me out first. Maybe I came at this at the wrong angle.\"


\"I like you Remus. I like you a lot and was wondering if you would go out with me?\"
s sts stunned. Shocked. Of course, this wasn\'t one of the most surprising of things that has happened to me, but it was still pretty high up there. I stood there, mouth open, eyes wide for longer than I care to remember.
\"All you have to do is say yes or no Remus.\"
I slowly came out of my trance shaking my head. \"Are you ....sure?\"
Lucius nodded. \"I\'ve never been more sure of something in my whole life. And, I really do like you.\" He walked up to me looking hopefully, \"I\'m not going to use you for a quick lay...if that\'s what you\'re worried about. I respect you more than that.\"
I continued to stare at Lucius. I shouldn\'t trust him. He\'s one of the bad guys. But...what if? I chewed my lower lip, staring at him thoughtfully.

By the end of the day, the entire school - students as well as faculty-knew they were a couple.

I was finding it very hard to concentrate on my homework. The glares I was getting from Sirius weren\'t helping.

As soon as Sirius found out about me and Lucius, he stopped talking to me all together. James and Peter were more understanding than Sirius. They congratulated me and that was that. They didn\'t glare or snarl at us.

I blinked and looked at the parchment. Tell who started making laws about abuse towards muggles, and when they passed. Sighing I raised my arms over my head and stretched. I really wanted to go over and talk to Sirius. The only thing that stopped me was, the last time I tried to talk to him, he almost broke my nose. I sighed again throwing down my quill. Doing homework wasn\'t any fun without friends. James was at Quidditch practice and Peter...I had no idea where Peter was. I wanted to find Lucius, but he had given me specific instructions not to seek him out for the rest of the day. \"Please don\'t come looking for me today Remus. Don\'t ask why. It\'s a surprise.\" Lucius had winked and walked away.


I looked at my watch and groaned, there were still two hours until dinner. I scanned the nearly empty library and noted that Sirius had left. Standing, I made my way to the back of the library skimming the shelves for Don\'t touch the Muggles. by: C.J Wringlehart. I didn\'t hear Severus come up behind me. \"So you think your all cool now that your fucking Lucius?\"
I spun around, \"What are you talking about. I haven\'t done anything!\"
Severus chuckled, \"I find that very hard to believe, but if it\'s true then that means I\'ll be the first to take you.\"
I felt my eyes go wide as Severus shoved me against the bookcase and kissed me, roughly shoving his tongue down my throat. Growling, I bit his tongue pushing him away.
Severus smirked, \"So you like it rough? I\'ll have to remember that.\" With that, he turned around and left.


I stood there for a minute, everything that just happened hitting me. Gathering my books, I rushed out of the library. I ran to the Slytherin hallway and pounded on the portrait. The Slytherin portrait hissed at me, \"And just what do you think you\'re doing? What\'s the password?\"
I shook my head ,\"I don\'t know. I need to talk to Lucius, please let me in!\"
The snake shook his head slithering away. I continued to pound on it until it opened. A girl with long red hair looked at me, \"What do you want?\"
I tried to look behind her, \"Is Lucius here? I need to talk to him. It\'s important\"
The girl just stared at me, then closed the portrait. I sighed and raised my fist to bang again. The portrait swung open and Lucius stared at me,\" What are you doing here Remus? I thought I told you you\'d have to wait until later....are you okay?\" A worried look shot across his face.
I shook my head trying to remain calm, \"S-Snape..he...he threatened to...\" I shook as tears sprung to my eyes.


Lucius looked shocked. He had never seen me cry before, \"What did he do?\"
I shook my head and Lucius looked around. \"Here,\" he said, putting an arm around my shoulders, \"Come with me, we\'ll go to my room.\" Lucius led me into the Slytherin common room. It was completely empty as we walked up the stairs in silence. Once in his room, he locked the door. Lucius turned around hugging me, \"What did he say to you?\"
I latched onto him sobbing, \"He threatened to...rape me. He thoughthad had slept together, and when I said I\'ve never slept with anyone, he said he would enjoy being my first.\"
Lucius held onto me tighter, \"It will be okay. He wont touch you. I wont let him.\"
\"Thank you.\"
Lucius nodded gently pulling away from me, \"You\'ve never had sex before?\"
I blushed and shook my head. I felt Lucius led me to the bed and sit down, pulling me with him.
\"I wanted to talk to you about that actually.\"
I looked at him.
\"I mean, we\'ve been going out for what? Six months now, and all we ever do is make out. Yeah there\'s a little heavy petting every now and then, but that\'s about it.\"


I still stared at Lucius, \"What are you getting at?\" I already knew, but I wanted to hear him say it.
\"I want to make love to you Remus. We don\'t have to now, but I want you to know that I want to.\"
I looked down, \"Are you sure you want to?\"
Lucius nodded.
\"Lucius?\"
\"Yes?\"
I looked at him, a slight tint of pinkish-red gracing my cheeks. \"I want you to make love to me. I want you to be my first, but I\'m afraid.\"
Lucius took my hands into his own. \"Of what? \"
\"What if I lose control and turn?\" I sighed turning away. \"I\'m afraid of being hurt\"


I had finally broken down and told him that I was a werewolf after our fourth month as a couple. Lucius had demanded to know where I went every month. When I told him, Lucius immediately apologized and kissed me to make up for yelling.


Lucius ran his hand through my hair, \"I won\'t hurt you, and you wont hurt me. I\'ll be right back.\" Lucius stood up and walked out of the room. I looked around his room, then back at the floor. I half turned around when I heard Lucius come back in. My eyes widened slightly when I realized that Lucius had let his robes fall to the floor, and had nothing on underneath.

\"You\'re... beautiful...\" Lucius simply answered by tenderly kissing mfterfter a moment I succumbed to my love pro protection and began to return the kiss, as our tongues danced in each other\'s mouths. After what seemed like an eternity, Lucius gently broke the kiss, and began to kiss his way down my chest, tenderly preparing me for what lay ahead. Lucius pulled off my robe and pants. When he reached my boxers, he looked up into my eyes with a look of utter love and innocence.


\"You\'re sure this is okay? I don\'t want to do anything you\'re notfortfortable with.\"

\"...please. Yes.\"

Lucius smiled and kissed my belly button, tickling me and actually making me giggle.
\"Thank you...\" Lucius slowly slid the boxers down, kissing my waist, legs, and thighs. He then kissed my toes and ankles, and worked his way back up until he began to lick and nip at my increasingly engorged member, smiling as I sighed with increasing pleasure. Then gently and tenderly, Lucius turned me over, gently kissing my exposed buttocks as he pulled a tube of lubricant out of his dresser. \"I\'m just going to start with a finger. I don\'t want you to get hurt doing this, so you\'ll need to stretch a little.\"
I gasped as Lucius began his explorations. The lubricant was slightly cold, and my body wrapped around the finger as it began to probe me. It was slightly painful, but the waves of slow pleasure that accompanied it far outweighed the discomfort, and I felt a twinge of regret as it slowly left his body.


\"Now?\"

A wish. A statement more than a question.

\"Now.\"

Lucius slowly entered me, lettinmselmself get used to the pleasurable sensations. Then he began to slowly move his length in and out of my body, finally reaching a smooth, even rhythm. We both began to moan softly, and Lucius wrapped his hand gently along my manhood and began to slowly move up and down it\'s length as I began to thrust my hips backward to meet each stroke. Finally, we cried out in a simultaneous ecstasy and slowly collapsed onto the bed, awash in sensation.
Lucius gently rolled himself offme, me, and scooted up on the bed, until we could rest in each others arms. I gently laid my head on his breast, as Lucius kissed away my tears of release and joy.
As Lucius let his eyes close he softly whispered into my ear. \"I love you...\"
His eyes closed before he could see the smile that slowly crept across my sleeping face.

I e toe to an empty bed. I lay still, hoping to God that Lucius\' roommates weren\'t in the room with me. I laid there for a few seconds before sitting up and looking around. The room was empty. I threw my legs off the side of the bed and smiled. I had never in my wildest dreams thought that Lucius could be so gentle and caring. Standing, I located my pants. I gave up looking for my boxers after five minutes of searchiI fiI finished pulling my pants on when the door opened. Lucius entered with a big smile on his face, \"Leaving so soon?\" He walked up to me wrapping his arms around my waist.
\" I thought that you would want me to be gone before anyone woke up.\"
\"I don\'t care if anyone here sees you. Anyway, everyone went outside about an hour ago. It finally started snowing.\"
I pulled away from Lucius and ran to the window, throwing them open, \"I love snow!\"
Lucius laughed joining me, \" I can tell.\"
I looked over at him, \"Can we go outside? I want to play in it.\"


Lucius smiled a warm smile and pulled me from the window and closed it.
\"What are you doing?\" I asked frowning.
\"You can\'t go outside like that.\" Lucius replied pointing to my half naked state.
I looked down at himself and smiled, \"That would be a problem. I guess I should go and change into something warmer.\" I headed towards the door, but was stopped by Lucius.
\"I don\'t want you to leave yet.\"
I grinned, \"Really?\LuciLucius nodded, \"You could always borrow some of my clothes.\"
\"I don\'t want to impose. I\'ll just run to my room real quick. I\'ll be right back.\"
Lucius smirked, \"Okay, but if your not back in five minutes I\'m coming over there.\"
I laughed, pulling my robe on and walking out the door. I ran out of the Slytherin common room and all the way to the Griffindor hall. \"Password?!\" The shrill voice of the fat lady asked. \"Snickerwoggle\" The portrait swung open and I ran inside and all the way to my room. I threw open the door and stopped. Sirius was stretched out on his own bed. He glanced at me as I came in.


\"Where were you last night?\"
I looked at him. That was the first thing he had said to me in six months.
\"I was with Lucius.\" I replied casually opening my dresser drawer and pulling out a thick sweater.
Sirius snorted, \"Figures you were with him.\"
That\'s it. I spun around and glared,\"What\'s that supposed to mean?\"
Sirius rolled his eyes and looked away. I sighed pulling off my robe and pants. I grabbed a pair of boxers and slide them on, then pulled my pants on over them. All the while, with Siriuis staring at me. I finished getting dressed and turned to leave, but the door was blocked by Sirius.

\"What are you doing Sirius?\"
Sirius gently cupped my face in both of his hands and seized my lips in one of the most gentle, sweet kisses I\'ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I inwardly gasped at the incredible silkiness of Sirius\' mouth. My eyes that had went wide with shock slowly closed as I gave into the kiss. Sirius gently kissed me, planting slow, little kisses all along my lips, thumbs lightly stroking my face. When he reached the corner of my mouth, he traced the slick underside of my upper lip with his tongue. He explored me thoroughly when I opened my mouth to allow Sirius better access.


I didn\'t know what on earth had happened to lead up to the sensual kiss I was currently experiencing. My knees started to give way as the kiss took away any ability to stand. Strong arms enveloped me as the slender hands that were stroking my face and neck slipped down to hold me. After what seemed like an eternity of utter bliss, Sirius reluctantly ended the kiss with the small butterfly kisses he\'d started out with. He continued to firmly hold me with one hand wondrously, and the other reached o cuo cup my cheek again. This time he brushed his thumb over and over again my moist reddened lips. I stared at Sirius, breathieavieavily.
\"Wh-what was that for?\"
Sirius smiled at me gently, but didn\'t answer.
\"Sirius, you have to let go of me.\"
He just shook his head not letting go, \"You don\'t need Lucius. I\'ll take care of you. Please don\'t go back to him.\"
I pulled out of his grasp, \"I forgot about Lucius!\" I ran out of the room and down the stairs. Straightening my robes I opened the portrait. Sure enough, Lucius was standing there, a hint of worry in his eyes.
\"Are you okay?\"


I nodded taking his hand, leading him away from the Griffindor hall. Lucius stopped them before the doors to get outside, \"Why are your lips all red and puffy?\"
I automatically bit my lips.
\"It looks like you just finished a heavy make out session.\"
I stared at Luicus eyes wide.
Lucius laughed, \"I\'m kidding. I know you would never do that to me.\" He grabbed my hand and pulled me outside. I sighed inwardly. I didn\'t want to tell Lucius what happened, but knew that I would have to eventually. I just wanted time to think about what to say to Lucius. Yeah, that\'s it. I\'m not even sure how I felt about the kiss myself. I\'ll worry later. I told myself. I pushed it to the back of my mind for the time being. We stepped outside and all of my worries were forgotten. I ran ahead of Lucius and fell to my knees in the snow.

After several hours, we had decided to come in for dinner. As we were heading towards the Great Hall, we passed James with some girl. James looked over at us and grinned, \"Hey you two. Just get back in?\"
We nodded and I looked at the girl and smiled, \"Are you James\' girlfriend?\"
The girl smiled back, \"Yes, my name\'s Lily. How did you know?\"
I lowered his voice, \"I could smell him all over you.\" I laughed as blu blushed scarlet.
James chuckled, \"Oh yeah, Sirius said there was something you two needed to talk about. He said it was important.\"
I looked at James, who continued, \"You should talk to him about it.\"
\"He told you?\"
James nodded.
\"I will. Later\"


I grabbed Lucius\' arm dragging him away.
\"What was that all about? What does James know?\"
I stared straight ahead, \"Just something that happened earlier. It\'s nothing.\"
Lucius stopped, \"What happened? Tell me.\"
I shook his head, \"I don\'t want tou\'lu\'ll overreact and it will start to get bad.\"
Lucius smiled, \"I\'m not going to get mad. I mean, it\'s not like you two were making out....\"
I looked away.
\"Were you?\"
I continued to ignore him, until Lucius grabbed me by the arms and made me look at him.
\"What happened?\"

I started to shake, \"When I went to change Sirius was there and when I went to leave he kissed me. I didn\'t mean for it to happen. Honest.\LuciLucius let go of me. Several student\'s ped ped and watched us.
\"Did you kiss him back? Did you?!\"
I slowly nodded, \" But I-\"
Lucius held up his hand, \"Don\'t...I can\'t believe you would do this to me! I love you. I trusted you.\"
I tried to grab his arm, but Lucius pushed me away, \"Don\'t you ever talk to me again!\"

I watched as he pushed passed the small group of people surrounding us.

Only two of the other student\'s saw the smirk that graced his face.
One boy leaned over and asked a girl, \"Aren\'t they going out?\"
The girl looked at him, \"Not anymore\"


I felt myself go numb as I dropped to the floor in tears.

In the background, Severus Snape and Sirius Black looked at each other and smiled.
