Christmas Challenge #37 Please bear with me I never did a Draco/Neville Fic
before so this will be my first one.Plus all spelling and mistakes are
mines too.


The war was over and Voldemort was dead Harry, Sev, Neville\'s had defeated
him together. Draco and turn to the light side right before the finally
battle. He didn\'t want to end up like his father who bowed down to a mad
man. With Voldemort gone most of the students went home who still had
family and those who didn\'t stayed at Hogwarts.

A lot of the Slytherins and Gryffindors had ended up staying with a few
Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. Neville had lost his grandma in the finally
battle and Draco had lost his father. They were staying at the school. The
trio was staying too. Dumbledore thought to get into the Christmas sprit he
would pair everyone up and they could work on different things for the
festival.

He had told the other teachers what he wanted to do, everyone else was for
it but Snape. So inneinner he told everyone he was going to put everyone\'s
name in a hat and draw 2 out at a time and those 2 would have to work
together doing something for the festival.

Most of the students were for it but the Slytherins weren\'t but they know
they had to go along with it even though they didn\'t like it. Dumbledore
was going to choose names after dinner. When dinner was over he had put his
hand in the had and chose a name.
\"Draco Malfoy you will be paired with,\" he draw a send name Neville
Longbottom and you 2 can chose what you want to do.\" Dumbledore smiled at them.
Neville had asked if they could make cookies for the festival. Draco a face
at that. But he agreed to make cookies with Neville\'s. Then Dumbledore draw
another name out of the hat.
\"Harry Potter you will be pairs with,\" he draw a second name \"Severus Snape
and you 2 can chose anything but making cookies because Draco and Neville
are doing those.\"
Sev was pissed that he got paired with Harry but he know there was nothing
he could do so he could them to decorate the tree because it was a easy job
and he didn\'t want to do much at all because he hated Christmas. Dumbledore
had chosen another name out of the hat.
\"Beslie Zabini you will be paired with ,\" he draw a second name out the
hat, Ron Weasley and you to can chose what every you want except making
cookies and trimming the tree. So they chose decorating the halls. They had
decided to bare it and work with who every they had gotten. Dumbledore had
chose another name out of the hate Hermoine Granger you will be pair, and
he draw another name out of the hat, Jeffrey Goyle you can chose anything
except making cookies, trimming the tree, and decorating the halls. So they
decided to Christmas turkeys because they both loved to cook. Dumbledore
had chose another name out of the hat.
Veron Crabbe you will be pair with, and he chose another name, Dean Thomas
you can chose anything except, making cookies, trimming the tree,
decorating the halls, and making the turkeys. So they decided to make gifts
for everyone. Dumbledore keep picking names out of the hat until there was
non left. He had made sure Gryffindor and Slytherin got paired together so
they could work together and if they become friends or more then the better
things will be.
Draco decided that he and Neville\'s should get the cookies made out of the
way first so they wouldn\'t have to spend much time together. So after they
were dismissed they want down to the kitchens to make cookies it turned
out they had to make over 5,000 cookies for the party and they would be
there for a while. So they start making cookies and Neville\'s decided he
should try and get along with Draco even though he liked him but wouldn\'t
tell him. On an accident Neville hits the flour off the table and it goes
all over Draco, he tries to help Draco out and decides he should just

When they come of for air they notice 2 things they are still covered in

they would have to keep it a secret because of their houses. Gryffindors
don\'t get along with Slytherins. But they also know that Dumbledore was
trying to get them to get along too. But they wouldn\'t be able to tell
anyone right away. But Neville wanted to wait for they right time for them
to be together and if Draco did like him he would understand which he did,
so they just kissed some more before getting read to leave for lunch.
At the side of the castle harry and Sev were working together getting
decorating the tree. It was one of the things harry had never done growing
up and he was quite enough it even though he didn\'t think Sev was but he
didn\'t care this would be his last Christmas at Hogwarts and he wanted to
make it the bast one every. He tried to talk to Snape but it was like pull
teeth and nails. He didn\'t know what he was going to do but he still tried
to be happy about decorating the tree.
Zabini and Ron were decorating the halls and they were actually getting
along well. Ron didn\'t know that Beslie was good at charms and also like
quddich just like him. They like the same team to the C.Canons. He also
found out that most of them were the way they were because of their parents
being death eaters and they didn\'t to displease their parents.
Hermoine and Goyle were also getting along too. She found out that he like
to cook and read. She didn\'t peg him to be a person who loved to read
because everyone thought he was dumb but he wasn\'t he just never show it.
Veron and Dean were getting along just fine too. They had make small gifts
for everyone so everyone could have a Christmas present because most of the
students had lost their families so they wouldn\'t be getting any gifts this
holiday. They also thought this was the best plan of Dumbledore\'s yet.
By lunch time everyone was getting along except Harry and Snape. When they
got to the great hall they show how everyone was getting along and just
chatting away. It pain Harry to see everyone getting along with their new
partner then him. He wish that Snape would just lighten up and join i9n the
fun. Sev was a stab old man set in his ways and he didn\'t think he would
every get along with anyone but he was happy because for the first time in
history Gryffindor and Slytherin had gotten together without fighting or
hexing each other. He know if his students can do it he might as well give
it a try because he was their head of house and he should set a example for
his students. He would try after lunch to get along with Harry.
After lunch everyone went back to what they were doing except for Draco and
Neville they happened to be done but they didn\'t want anyone to know they
were done. They had sneaked out to the Astronomy Tower. There they keep
kissing each other. Draco wanted to do more but he was willing to wait for
Neville because he know he was ready and when he was it would be just as
sweet. Because they were so caught up with kissing each other they almost
missed dinner.
When dinner was over Neville decided that he wanted to see more of Draco so
he invited him to come to the Astronomy Tower in a couple of hours. Neville
had gone to Gryffindor Tower to go get some stuff he would need. He decided

Snape and Harry were to shock to look at the stars. They never thought
that Draco and Neville would get together in that way. Lucky they had came
in after the fact because then they would\'ve been more embarrassed if they
had came in during them having sex. But to Harry it was a very Merry
Christmas because he made a new friend, Gryffindor and Slytherin were
getting along very well include some of them more getting along then
others, Voldemort was gone, and he was free to be normal teenager. Well as
normal as can be. It was already after midnight so Harry want up to Sev and
wished him a Merry Christmas and kissed him on the cheek.
