Keeping the Balance

Draco sat in the parlor with his mother waiting for his dad to come home with the “surprise” he had mentioned in an owl a few hours earlier. Lucius had been called to meet with Voldemort on a very important issue. Of course this was all anyone knew, that it was important and demanded a respected wizarding family such as theirs. As Draco yawned and considered going upstairs back to his letter to Pansy explaining his lack of interest for, what would hopefully, be the last time, he heard a pop and turned to the fireplace.

There, out of the smoke and ashes, came a girl who couldn’t be any older then him, who had long light brown hair and piercing green eyes. Draco quickly tried to fix himself up, he had not been expecting the surprise to be a beautiful girl popping into his parlor, but he couldn’t say he was disappointed.

“Uhummm...” Lucius coughed to get his sons attention.

“Oh, yes father?” Draco answered.

“This young lady is Miss Alexia Charizma Riddle, we are to take care of her during the holiday until school starts when she will be attending with you.”

“Is she…is she…”
es tes this is Voldemort’s daughter.”

“But, how was Dumbledore convinced to allow her to attend Hogwarts?”

She stepped forward and made eye contact with him for the first time then said, “My mother and I have lived in America and contacted him convincing him that we were opposed to my father’s rule and would be very grateful if he would allow me to attend. Of course he does not know I’m here by my father’s request.”

“Well, I’m looking forward to you staying here and attending Hogwarts with me,” Draco said looking her up and down.

“Binkie!” shouted Lucius.

“Yes master,” said the small house elf who had just appeared.

“Will you please escort Miss Riddle to her room.”

“Yes, master.”

“Good night Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy, good night Draco,” she said with a smile before following the house elf out of the room. Draco was left speechless as he watched her glide out of the room.

“I think I will be going to bed,” announced Narcissa.

“Very well,” said Lucius, with that Narcissa got up and strolled out. “I see you are quite inamored by the young Miss Riddle.”

“I, I, well yes she’s lovely.”

“Don’t worry I considered this when I was asked to host her. A marriage to a fine, young women like that would permanently place us at the top of the Dark Lords inner circle. No need to hide your intentions from me.”

“I’ll make you proud,” Draco said with a smirk before running out of the room.

Alexia opened her trunk and began to carefully remove all of her clothes from it into the elaborately carved drawers. Halfway through she started to feel the heel of her shoe through the sole and decided she had to get out of them. She sat down on the bed and removed each heel then began to remove her knee high hose, it was better then the waist high ones, but she still loathed them. All the while she was completely unaware of the eyes watching her from the door she left wide open. After balling up the hose she walked over to the large closet and neatly placed the shoes among the other shoes she had lined on the ground.

When she exited the closet she faced the door for the first time and noticed the gentleman there. “Why hello, I didn’t see you there.”

“I’m sorry,” he said before crossing into the room to where she stood.

“I’m not sure my father would approve of young men in my bed room.”

“Well then, shall we take this out to the garden.”

“I just took my shoes off, and I said he wouldn’t approve not that I care.”

“Oh,” he started to get the hint, she was easier to woo then he thought she would be.

He wrapped his arms around her and leaned in when there lips met. Alexia slid her fingers through his light blond locks and ented hed her fingers. Both half attracted, half on a mission, of course Draco was willing to take the “mission” a little further and decided to go for it. He slowly backed her into the bed and sat her down never breaking the lock on her lips. He slowly reached under her short before she said, “Wait not now, just met, I, I can’t.”

Draco opened his eyes and looked at the girl propping herself up on her elbows in front of him, and then closed his eyes trying not to scream from disappointment, then opened them and said, “Of course, I shouldn’t have.”

“Well I’ve got to get to bed, I’ll see you tomorrow?”

“Yeah, of course,” Draco left and walked to the adjacent hall where his room was, put a silencing charm on the room, screamed, and then tried to settle his lower half that was even more frustrated then his brain.
