The day Harry Potter inherited a matched pair of dragons from the dark lord was an odd one. He\'d gotten up, brushed his teeth, took a leak, showered, and got dressed. Just a normal day. Until, that is, an owl flew in the window of his London flat and landed in his cereal bowl. He recognized the owl as one from Hogwarts, and opened the message swiftly.

Suddenly his day went from mundane to charged. He got up, and grabbed a handful of Floo powder.

**

\"Mr. Potter, I believe there\'s something you should see.\" One of the Aurors said, stepping over a fallen Death Eater to near Harry in the rub

Less than an hour ago, Harry Potter had defeated Voldemort, yet again. If his smoking corpse in the ruins of what had formerly been a nice mansion in the foothills of Switzerland was any sign, he wasn\'t coming back this time. Twenty-year-old Harry wiped some dirt off his face, gave the dead Death Eater a poke just in case, and nodded, following after the Auror.

The dungeon of the house was visible; the actual house was scattered in little bits all over the valley, so when the Auror led him in, Harry eyed the ruins cautiously. A group of Aurors were standing around outside a set of massive metal gates, and as Harry walked up, he could hear one of them say, \"Perhaps we best put them down, we don\'t know who they\'re loyal to.\"

Arthur Weasley spoke; \"Well, my Charlie\'s a dragon expert, we could have him out here to judge.\"

The one Harry was following replied, \"Harry Potter\'s here, maybe he can tell us.\"

The group made way for Harry and in no time at all, he found himself at the gates, looking in. A well-matched team of dragons, obviously broken to harness and rider, given the tack in a corner of the massive cell, sat crouched under the low ceiling. It was too dark to see much beyond silver-white scales and the straw that littered the stone floor, as it was still quite dark under there, being that the cell was so reinforced it hadn\'t been damaged in the blast. The dragons were trapped under the high roof that was too low for them.

\"This is inhumane.\" He mumbled, and opened the gate to go in.

\"Hey now, Harry!\" Arthur Weasley said.

\"Where are you going?\" Squeaked an Auror.

\"I\'m going in. I think they\'re charmed to obey the dark lord, in that exact phrase, and I - having killed him - have inherited them.\"

\"How do you know?\" Arthur asked.

\"I just have a hunch.\" Harry replied.

He pushed past and went inside, leaving it open a little. The Aurors crowded to rescue him, if need be.

Harry stepped closer to wherethouthought the head end of the dragons were, and was surprised when two pair of very large, very silver eyes opened on either side of his thighs. They seemed to absorb all the light in the room and reflect it, like twin moons. With their heads on the floor, the tops of their skulls were even with his waist. Harry took a step back and pressed against the wall as their breathing deepened and the head of the dragon on the right rose. It looked at him, snarled, and grabbed hold of his leg with it\'s teeth, then released him as quickly as if it had been burned, snarling savagely. The other leaned up on it\'s long neck and nipped the first.

So. They *were* charmed to obey that phrase, and what\'s more, they had consequences for disobedience. Whatever force had made the one on the right release him, the laying one on the left felt it too. Harry made his decision. He turned to the terrified aurors at the door and said, \"Tell Hagrid to make room, I\'m keeping them and will pay Dumbledore for his assistance in caring for them.\"

\"You\'re crazy Harry!\" Arthur Weasley yelled back, grinning, but Harry wasn\'t listening.

The subdued dragon on the right glared at him. It didn\'t like him, but Harry got the feeling it didn\'t like anybody. The other was quieter, and had a mild mannered spirit. Well, if he were keeping them, he\'d need to give them names. What would be good names for a pair of dragons? Well, for the nasty one, Nox, and Lumos for the gentle one. Hopefully they\'d cancel one another out.

Now, how to get them out of here? Harry was fairly sure the only thing strong enough to break through the castle structure was the dragons themselves, and for that all the charms and spells would have to be removed. He\'d need a way to control them, as well.

Harry went and threw the massive leather harnesses over, instructing the aurors to come in and remove the spells from the room, assuring them that the dragons were harmless. At that, Nox grinned, displaying a row of teeth, but didn\'t do anything to the aurors that slunk around his tiny cell. Lumos beside him submitted to the harness first. Harry stepped up onto the creature\'s elbow and crawled onto his back to lay the harness over Lumos\' shoulders, and Lumos obligingly made room. There were barely two feet between the ridge of his spine and the roof, but it was enough for Harry. Lumos had to raise up as high as he could so Harry could reach under him the fasten the straps.

Then it was Nox\' turn, and he would have been a pain without Lumos\' help. He tried to kill Harry twice and earned bites from his fellow for it. At one point, Lumos slammed his shoulder into Nox and Nox hissed at him. Lumos did not back down, and just as Harry feared there was going to be a dragon fight, Nox lowered his head all the way to the floor. Lumos then did likewise and waited for Harry\'s next move. When the aurors had removed all the wards and spells, Harry made sure everyone was out, and decided to try commanding them in parseltoungue. They were reptiles, like snakes, theoretically it would work. So through the iron gate, he shouted at them, \"Stand!\". They obviously understood, and Lumos obeyed, but Nox had to be poked. Under the brute force of the two dragons, muscles bunching and straining, the floor began to buckle and crack beneath them, but the roof shattered like fine glass into hairline cracks, the heavy stone holding together.

Just when it looked like it wouldn\'t work, Lumos grunted and put his head low, and shoved upwards with his back in a powerful thrust. Nox held the pressure on the stone while Lumos continued this motion, using his body as a sledgehammer. The stone groaned horribly, and Nox cried out, then the roof broke into a thousand pieces, falling off the dragons and covering the air in a fine choking dust. Coughing, Harry and the aurors climbed out of the dungeon and stood over the hole in the ground. Lumos and Nox were scratching themselves with their clawed forelimbs, stretching and moving while staying in place, awaiting Harry\'s orders.

Nox seemed noticeably less pissy now that he was out in the light, and Lumos was impatiently shifting his weight. \"Climb out.\" Harry commanded them, and they did so, Nox snorting derisively. On the clean grass, Harry could see that they were a little over twenty feet at the shoulder, their long necks supported heavy, large lizard-like heads, and their tails were rather short, meant for balance and not beauty. Their hind legs were stronger than their forelegs, which were formidably armed with claws. In the sunlight they shone silver-white, their scales nearly blinding.

Nox was taller and a little thinner than Lumos, who was a little more stout and muscular, as well as slightly darker colored. Along their sides were folded wings, and Harry commanded Lumos to open his. Lumos stepped away from Nox and did so, opening impressive thirty-foot leather monstrosities. Harry reached up and touched one of the gray things tentatively, and found himself shaded by Nox\' set. \"Show off.\" He laughed at the other dragon, which drew in his wings, stomped and snorted.

In the light Harry could see that they were both male, small sheaths nestled close along their bellies between their hind legs gave mute evidence of the fact.

A trickle of dark purplish blood down Lumos\' flank alarmed Harry, and he saw that it was coming from some abrasions on his back and shoulders a quick glance over to Nox confirmed that he was scraped and bleeding as well. Harry commanded Lumos to kneel, and inspected the cut on his shoulder. It wasn\'t that deep, but it would need to be cleaned. Perhaps Hagrid would be able to help with that.

Harry turned to see to Nox, and commanded the dragon to kneel. It sneered at him and refused. Harry grew angry with the beast, and stepped closer. Nox flinched and quickly did as he was told, as if he were afraid. Harry\'s anger cooled. Voldemort had beaten these creatures into submission; they wouldn\'t act like that otherwise. Had he used cruciatus or worse on the animals?

Harry turned to the gathered crowd of gawking aurors. \"Has Dumbledore been contacted?\"

\"Yes, he has.\" Mr. Weasley informed him, staring at the beasts.

\"Alright, what did he say?\"

\"He said that you could cast invisibility charms on them and fly them home tonight.\"

\"Thank you.\" Harry replied, walking over to him.

\"They\'re a nice set, aren\'t they?\" The older man commented.

\"Yes. I think they\'re healthy, but I wouldn\'t even know what breed they are. We should have Charlie come take a look at them.\"

\"Well, what will you do for now?\" Another Auror asked.

\"Walk them out of here somewhere secure, water them, see about feeding them. I daresay they hadn\'t been out of that dungeon in weeks.\"

With that, he was off to ask Fudge if he could go. The dragons stayed where they were, Nox rolling in the high grass and grunting. Lumos stretched out in the sunshine and closed his eyes.

**

When Harry returned a little later, both reptilian bulks were sleeping, Nox on his side and Lumos standing, legs locked like a horse\'s. A few aurors were standing around looking at them, smoking, one or two daring to pet the sleeping Lumos. Everyone avoided Nox\'s head end, because there were several gouges in the ground where the spiteful bugger had attempted to flatten his \'guards\'.

\"Up.\" Harry commanded his beasts. Lumos cracked open an eye and looked at him, then grunted and woke Nox by nuzzling him with his broad snout. Nox groaned in complaint, but in the wake of Lumos\' persistence, surged to his feet, a gleaming hulk of muscular reptilian flesh. He made a complaining noise. Lumos snorted at him. Harry tied the rope he had brought to the breast bands of the harnesses and led them off toward the valley further along in the fillsills. The massive dragons followed him, obviously in a good mood - given their frolicking and the nips and squeals they traded, messing around with one another. Harry noted that Lumos, the one he had pinned as obedient and quiet, was the instigator of the trouble.

He wondered what to feed them. Once they got down to the stream banks about a mile and a half from the house, he stopped wad was nearly stepped on by Nox, who had taken the opportunity and was now feigning innocence. \"Open your mouth.\" Harry commanded Lumos, hoping that he would be able to figure out what they ate by their teeth. Lumos opened, putting his mouth within easy view. Harry heard him breathing through his nose, observed that a flap of skin had closed in backback of his throat, like the waterproofing mechanism in an alligator or crocodile. They were capable of swimming and eating underwater, then. His teeth were all pointed, without any flat surfaces for grinding. Carnivorous, then. Well, he wasn\'t about to Accio a cow or two for them. They could wait.

He didn\'t know how long it had been since they had eaten, and absently wondered if they were fed Death Eaters or prisoners or both. Both were too thin, their ribs prominent, so whatever it had been hadn\'t been all that nourishing. Lumos and Nox\' heads were bowed, drinking from the stream in noisy gulps. It would be a few hours before dusk, so Harry spent his time trying out different invisibility charms on Lumos. Nox began to wander offd Had Harry called him back sharply. Nox scowled at him, bared his teeth and went on his merry way. Harry commanded Lumos to stay, and followed after Nox\' ambling rear. Nox growled at him when he came around a corner and found the dragon taking a leak. Harry laughed and let him alone, keeping an eye on the beast. After a while Lumos politely did the same behind a stand of trees.

Harry was amused. He\'d never heard of dragons being modest or shy before.

By nightfall, Harry had decided he didn\'t like Nox that much, either. All afternoon it had sneered at him, made noise dis disgust at his spells, and had taken to flicking him in the back of the head with his tail when Harry wasn\'t paying attention. Lumos appeared to have given up on his fellow, and lay, bored, while Harry made different parts of him invisible.

\"Alright,\" Harry said. \"Get your big lumbering arses up and stand over there.\" He pointed to a clearing.

Both dragons obeyed, slowly, which was as fast as they could, sensing his temper. He tied Nox to Lumos, mounted Lumos, and as soon as he was settled on the dragon\'s shoulders, he cast the charm on them all. \"Up, and fly.\" He said tersely to Lumos, figuring he could direct the dragon once they were in the air, and Nox could follow along.

Lumos extended his wings, Nox following suit. They flapped for a bit, warming their muscles. Lumos ran forward, Nox keeping even with him. At the crest of a hill, Lumos leapt. Harry braced himself for the ton-weight beast to land on the other side, but the muscles under him heaved, the wings swung, and in jerky motions, Harry found himself rising into the air. Nox\' wings beat nearby as they rose, and Harry ducked close to Lumos\' neck.

Presently curiosity overcame fear, and Harry sat up, looking around. Lumos and Nox were as high as the clouds, and thne mne mist felt cool on his face as they flew through. When they neared Hogwarts, Harry guided Lumos with a word, and the dragon made a graceful dive downwards. When they landed, Harry held tightly as Lumos\' impact was absorbed by the ground. When Nox landed beside them, a great booming thud shook the earth, and Harry realised that the two impacts must have felt like a minor earthquake inside the castle. He looked up to see Dumbledore\'s and Hagrid walking up, and was quick to end the charms, revealing his massive charges.

Lumos folded in his wings and knelt, letting Harry climb down. Nox remained standing, and when Harry had dismounted, Lumos stood close to him, shoulder to shoulder. \"A fine pair o\' Great Silvers ye have, \'Arry!\" Hagrid called by way of greeting, reaching out to pet Nox, who snapped at him. Harry slapped him in the neck, being that he was untying the rope just then, and Nox took the reprimand badly, and sulking, let the laughing giant touch him. Dumbledore greeted him, and looked at the dragons, smiling.

\"Snape has said the dungeons are twenty eight feet high and forty wide. Do thinthink that will be enough for them, my boy?\"

\"Probably, Sir.\" Harry replied. \"But we\'d have to put them in separate ones.\"

They both looked at the dragons leaning on one another and eyeing the excited half-giant warily.

\"Perhaps we shouldn\'t separate them, my boy. I can remove one of the walls down there for them, and leave structure supporting pillars instead.\" Dumbledore suggested.

\"I think they would like that.\" Harry said. \"But what of the Slytherins?\"

\"Oh, there\'s a few anti-student wards I can put up, and I don\'t think they would mind sharing space with a pair of Great Silvers, all in all.\"

\"Alright.\" Harry agreed. \"What of feeding them? I\'m pretty sure they\'re carnivorous.\"

\"Oh, thas all right, \'Arry. I kin feed them.\" Hagrid offered.

He\'d affixed leashes to the dragons\' harnesses, and looked prepared to drag them off and croon over them. Nox and Lumos looked equally ready to bolt. Harry took Nox\' leash from Hagrid. He was the dragon\'s master, after all. And Nox was looking a little worried, anyway. Harry supposed it was an extension of his hatred for everyone to be afraid of Hagrid. Lumos seemed a bit shy of him as well, and respectful of the Headmaster, even though Nox was being snotty and refusing to so much as look at Dumbledore.

With the Headmaster\'s permission, Hagrid and Harry led the two dragons down into the dungeon. Snape stood to one side while Dumbledore removed the wall between the two empty dungeons cleaned out for the dragons. He also pressed himself flat against the wall, fear in his pale features, while he held the door for the beasts to be let in. Both dragons let out groans of protest at being indoors again, but Harry ignored them and closed the door behind him.

*****

The day Harry discovered his dragons were gay had been a very bad one.

Dumbledore had had him teaching at Hogwarts in repayment for Hagrid looking after the dragons and Dumbledore housing them. His morning class of sixth-year Slytherins had succeeded in bolloxing everything he had instructed them to do, his afternoon Gryffindors were empty-headed when he called upon to to demonstrate the lesson, and to make matters worse, he had torn his robe on a nail in the floor.

To top things off, one of the Slytherins had asked him why the fourth dungeon was inscribed with the words \'Nox et Lumos\', light and dark. Harry had pointed out that the student couldn\'t have possibly known that unless she had been snooping past the wards, and deducted house points.

Because of this, he headed down to check on them during dinner hour, forgoing his meal.

And walked in on one of the truly most strange and arousing sights he\'d ever seen in his life.

Nox was standing in the middle of the den, Lumos beside him. Lumos\' head was under Nox\' belly, nuzzling. His organ hung erect and unsheathed against his belly. Harry faltered in his step and gently shut the door, powerless to do anything but watch as Nox moved his tail aside and Lumos moved into position behind him. Lumos\' body gleamed in the dim light as he mounted Nox. Nox\' deep cry echoed off the stone walls, reverberating in Harry\'s cock, which surged and leapt to life at Lumos\' reassuring answer, so deep it vibrated the walls and floor.

Harry was never so glad for the wards around that room before as he was now. The dragons slowly mated for nearly an hour, noisily, before Harry\'s transfixed gaze. When they cried out in completion and Nox came profusely onto the straw-littered floor, Harry was shocked to find that he\'d come in his pants.

Quiet now, Lumos disengaged and climbed off his mate. Harry left the den so softly he was sure neither knew he was there, his sticky pants cold all the way back to his room.

**

They never did it when they expected him. He usually came to visit Saturday mornings, so the dragons were always waiting for him, boredly leaning on the walls or sleeping.

Wanting to see them mate again for some reason beyond his imagining, Harry came at times when they might be doing it. Most of the time, they weren\'t. When they were, he would watch. One night when he went in, he let the door close loudly. Nox, having just mounted the kneeling Lumos, turned his head and glared. Harry leaned casually on the wall and began stroking the erection he usually got with the very thought of coming down to the dungeon to watch. Lumos looked at him a moment, then bucked his hips under Nox. Ignoring Harry, they began their long, sensual dance. He stepped around to Lumos\' head, moving slowly, hand still on his cock.

Harry stood against the wall in front of him and freed his cock. Lumos\' clever tongue reached out and pulled Harry\'s pants the rest of the way down, shorts too. Harry gasped as the large tongue licked his belly and thighs. The arm-sized muscle felt sleek and strong against his cock, and he gasped as it dove between his buttocks, feeling the strength of it. It pressed carefully, and his legs shook. Lumos\' tongue was too large to fit inside him, but it was wonderful to have it stroke him, press where he needed, and Nox\' cry rung in his ears as he discharged into his own palm. Lumos grunted, and spurted messily.

Harry slid down the wall without the support of the cradling tongue, and lay there, watching, as the two dragons settled down for the night. He thought he remembered to sleepily dress himself before he fell asleep, but couldn\'t be sure.

**

\"Oi, \'Arry! Yew alright?\"

Harry opened his eyes to see Hagrid standing over him, looking concerned. \"Yes. I\'m fine. I must have fallen asleep looking at them.\" He said, sitting up. Lumos and Nox were in the corner, eating what Hagrid had brought for them hungrily. \"Do you think I could take them flying again today?\" He asked.

\"Why shore \'Arry. They\'re yer dragons, Ah don\'t see why not.\"

Hagrid got him the leashes. Harry patted their necks. They didn\'t like being inside, and flying was good exercise for them.

His boys deserved a break.

Outside, Harry watched them flying over the lake, and wondered if it was considered bestiality to have a crush on his dragons. Lumos seemed to like him, and Nox wasn\'t as much of a bastard to him now and then as he was at first. Maybe, when Charlie came, he could ask him if the dragons understood their bond to the dark lord that enabled them to obey, well enough to interpret it sexually. Perhaps Charlie would understand...and Harry wasn\'t such a freak. Maybe he wasn\'t the only one.

*****

The day Charlie Weasley came to see his dragons, Harry got the shock of his life.

Harry was in his classroom, grading papers, when his old Head of House came to the doorway. \"Harry,\" she said. \"Charlie Weasley is here.\"

\"Oh good.\" Harry said, setting aside his quill and ink. \"Thank you Mrs. McGonagall.\"

She smiled primly at him and left.

Charlie was like an older version of Percy, perhaps a bit taller than Harry had last seen Ron to be. He had his father\'s smile and his mum\'s easy manner, and in no time at all, they were headed to the dungeons, Charlie bouncing easily along on his toes, excited at the prospect of meeting the dragons.

Harry said the password and went inside the den. Lumos blinked sleepily at him from a corner and yawned, Nox slept on, lying full-length along his brother. \"Wake up, boys.\" Harry encouraged them cheerfully. \"I brought someone down to see you.\" Lumos sighed, and Nox burrowed his head under the cover of Lumos\' body.

Charlie peered in the door. \"How about we take them outside to examine them? The light\'s dim in here.\" He suggested. Harry nodded agreement and tied a rope around Lumos\' neck. He handed the tail the end of it to Charlie and tied another on Nox. \"Lead him out through the gates.\" Harry explained, and Charlie gave the rope a tug. Lumos obeyed, following after. Harry led Nox out on his heels into the sunshine.

He tied the ends of the ropes to the bars in the gates, and joined Charlie in looking at them. \"Two full grown males, about two decades old,\" Charlie peeped at their underbellies, \"ungelded.\" Harry smothered a giggle when Nox swung his tail at Charlie. \"Ever think about entering them in a breeding program?\" Even the meek Lumos snorted in temper, but Charlie dodged Nox\' swing easily. Lumos stamped a foot demonstratively at him. Charlie persisted, ignoring them. \"Great Silvers are rare, and these are nice ones.\"

\"Er, no. I don\'t want them in a breeding program.\" Harry answered. Lumos put his head near Harry and crooned. Harry flapped a hand at him.

\"Well, they seem to be reasonably healthy. Let\'s get started on the intelligence test.\" Charlie went on, striding around front of the beasts. Both dragons looked at him.
\"Am I wearing a hat?\" He asked them.
Nox rolled his eyes. Lumos examined his dew claw.
\"What color is my hat? Lift your right leg for gray, left for brown.\" Charlie said, frowning.
Lumos feigned sleep, while Nox reached out and ate said hat, a pissy look in his eye.
Harry was amused.

Frustrated, Charlie grabbed both leashes and dragged the dragons down to look at him. Blinking at their faces for a moment, he stiffened in shock and turned to Harry.

\"Er, Harry,\" he began uneasily. \"These are anamagi.\"

**

Harry didn\'t believe Charlie. He didn\'t want to believe Charlie. But sitting in Snape\'s office while the Potions Master displayed proof that the dragons were anamagi, he could no longer pretend. Unluckily enough, the potion Snape had done to test the blood of the dragons could not tell him who they were. Harry would have to wait for them to change back to find out.

Being magically-created anamagi, they wouldn\'t know how to change back into their human forms, and would have to be taught. Luckily, the best person for it locally was Harry\'s godfather, Sirius Black, and he had already been owled and was coming tomorrow to begin teaching them. It also explained some things for Harry. First - he obviously wasn\'t the only one suffering from the obedience bond. Second - he had no clue who his dragons were, only that they were probably Death Eaters. Worst-case scenario, he\'d have to kill them. Best, he could reform them. But really, right now it was all a waiting game.

And his waiting in Snape\'s office was done.
Bowing to the Potions Master politely, who scowled fiercely at him, Harry went to meet Charlie in Hogsmeade for dinner as they had arranged earlier.

**

Sirius stormed into Harry\'s set of Hogwarts rooms and flopped on the couch, accio\'ing a beer.

\"I hate that bastard Nox.\" He informed Harry, who left off grading papers at his desk to sit across from his godfather.

\"Why?\"

\"He\'s evil, I tell you. Won\'t do anything, rolls his eyes condescendingly at me whenever I try to tell him how to transform, and tries to kill me constantly. The other one\'s almost as bad when Nox gets him stirred up, and if it weren\'t for that nasty brute, he might actually listen to me. As is, he just ignores me for all he\'s worth.\"

\"Lumos.\" Harry said.

\"What?\"

\"His name is Lumos, the other one.\"

\"Yeah, him. Listen Harry; I don\'t think I\'ll be able to do anything with them, really. I\'ll try again tomorrow, but if they won\'t learn, I won\'t teach. Maybe if I taught Lumos separately he might actually learn something, but not like it is.\"

\"Alright.\" Harry said quietly, a bit disappointed. Maybe his dragons really *were* bad news after all, and he might as well just kill them now instead of later.

\"Take heart, Harry. I\'ll be over tomorrow, and we\'ll see what we can do with them.\" Sirius said, rising and depositing the empty bottle in the trash.

Harry nodded, and Sirius left with informal farewells, going to stay with Remus for the night.

**

Harry was awakened in the early morning hours by the dungeon wards going off, breached and humming in his ears, holding two persons captive.

He shoved his feet into his shoes, pulled on a robe, and grabbed a lamp.

Expecting to see adventurous Slytherins, when Harry opened the dungeon door to the dragons\' den, he was startled to see one very naked and very angry Draco Malfoy, attempting to open the doors with wandless magic, a very naked year mate of his (and fellow Slytherin), Blaise Zabini, shivering and watching Draco. The three men stared at one another.

\"Malfoy!\" Harry managed.

\"Po.\" .\" Draco growled, attempting to cover his assets with his hands, glaring.

\"How did you get down here?\" Harry asked. \"And where are my dragons?\"

\"You\'re looking at them, you little Gryffindor shit.\" Draco snapped. Blaise, now standing next to Draco scowled at him and leaned over and bit his shoulder. Draco glared at him, looking as if he might leap over and bite back. The familiarity of the gesture made Harry realize it.

\"Lumos?\" He asked, looking carefully at Blaise.

\"No, Nox.\" Blaise said sarcastically. \"Didn\'t Draco just say this?\"

\"Maybe he didn\'t get it.\" Draco sneered at Harry.

\"Of course I get it. You two bastards...of all people to be the Dark Lord\'s dragons, who I *happened* to inherit...\"

\"We didn\'t have a choice.\" Blaise said quickly.

\"Nobody asked *me*.\" Draco said, at the same time.

Harry looked at them both.

\"Lucius tricked us.\" Blaise explained.

Draco scowled at the mention of his father\'s name. \"Hey, Potter. It\'s freezing down here and we\'re kind of naked. Want to see about that, or should we just wear the leashes up to Dumbledore\'s office?\"

\"Fine, I\'ll get you some clothes. Just stay put down here, all right? And no, I\'m not taking you to Dumbledore tonight.\"

\"So you\'re planning to take two Death Eaters up to your rooms without anyone knowing? You\'re a brave, stupid soul, Potter.\" Blaise informed him.

\"Death Eaters?\" Harry repeated stupidly.

Blaise and Draco shoved their left forearms at him, displaying their Dark Marks.

\"Er, ok. Well, fuck.\" Harry ran his hands through his hair. \"Tell you what. You stay here, don\'t mess with anything, and I\'ll go borrow some of Snape\'s clothes.\"

\"Snape\'s!\" Blaise and Draco said in unison, making disgusted faces.

\"Well, I didn\'t want to go ask him anyway. Bastard hates me.\"

\"Correction: He *detests* you, Potter.\" Draco sniped.

\"Whatever. Will I have to put you under Petrificus to go up to my room and grab some clothes or can I trust you?\"

\"We\'re Death Eaters.\" Blaise said.

\"Good point.\" Harry replied. \"How about Avada Kedavra, then?\" He closed the door behind himself.

\"That\'s not funny, Potter!\" Draco yelled after him.

**

It was three in the morning. Too early to deal with Malfoy and all his shit.

Harry leaned against the wall and closed his eyes.

Draco was going through the fridge, eating whatever he wanted and bitching about the rest. Blaise was reading through the papers on Harry\'s desk, making a mess.

Both were indecently dressed. Blaise wore one of Harry\'s largest Weasley sweaters, with nothing else. Draco was in a pair of Harry\'s smallest trousers, which hung low around his hips, even buttoned. Both had refused Harry\'s underwear, sneering as only Slytherins could at the flying snitch boxers and worn-out muggle tightey whighties. Both appeared to be nocturnal, as evidenced by the tireless complaints and nagging. Harry wondered if all Slytherins bitched this much.

When Draco dropped a spoon on the floor with a clatter, Harry jolted awake and glared at him. Malfoy smiled, and purposely dropped a fork, to annoy Harry. Harry resisted the urge to storm over and punch the bastard, and instead shouted at them.

\"Shut up, and go to bed already!\"

Both blondes looked at him.

\"You - guest bedroom.\" Harry pointed at Draco.

\"You - couch.\" Harry pointed at Blaise.

\"Now, godammit!\"

Surprisingly, both scurried to their places, without even a comment from Malfoy.

**

It was Blaise who started it all.

Not that Harry hadn\'t though about his dragons having sex anymore after he found out who they were. He was still attracted to them, which, upon admission to Dumbledore, the Headmaster had informed him was a side effect of the bond and he really should talk to the other dear boys about that.

Harry had moved back into his London apartment, taking Blaise and Draco with him. He floo\'ed to Hogwarts every day, arriving in Dumbledore\'s office for morning tea while the two blonde Slytherins trashed his apartment or slept the day away in lizard-like stupor. After the term was finished, Dumbledore would no longer have need of him, and consider the housing debt paid. Hagrid had been a bit shocked and amused when he found out the dragons were former students, but hadn\'t been by to see them, or shown any interest. And given Draco\'s attitude toward the half-giant, and Blaise\'s deceptive calm when Harry had suggested they thank Hagrid, Harry wasn\'t surprised that they both refused to have anything more to do with Hogwarts.

But they still had plenty to do with each other.

After that first night, Sirius had come over, taken one look at them, needed no explanation, and left for home. Harry had been at work at the time, and was angry with Blaise and Draco for running his godfather off. Later, at Sirius\'s owl, Harry had been a bit less angry with them, but gave them a lecture on answering the door naked and demanding to know what a person wanted, then when being asked to take a message saying: \'Do I look like a house-elf to you?\'

That night, Blaise also moved into the apartment\'s second spare bedroom with Draco. Harry woke in the middle of the night, only to hear them have sex, and had lain awake until they had finished, distinctly uncomfortable.

The next morning, he avoided their eyes when he made them breakfast, and went to work.

The second day, Blaise watched him knowingly as he left, still not meeting their eyes.

But it could not be said that Blaise didn\'t work fast.

The third night, Harry woke to Blaise standing over him in the dark. The muggle digital clock read 2:30 am. \"What?\" He asked in a whisper. Blaise hadn\'t answered, just taken his hand and led him into the dark of the bedroom down the hall hered red with Draco. He had seated Harry in a chair by the door and then crawled back to Draco. Just as Harry began to contemplate leaving, as Blaise\'s attempts to wake Draco appeared to be failing, Draco stirred, moaned.

Harry shifted in his chair, trying to see better in the dim light. He couldn\'t see much, but he could hear a lot. Blaise and Draco\'s sex was fast, hard, and noisy. It surprised him when Draco said, just before climax, \"Harry.\"

Blaise had replied, \"Watching, watching.\" quietly. And then their motions grew to fever pitch and Harry\'s hand on his cock brought him into blissful release with them.

When he could move, he got out of the chair and stumbled back to bed, sleepy, legs rubbery.

**

It was Blaise\'s fault.

Barely a week living together, and Harry was awakened by Blaise crawling into bed with him. \"Draco?\" he asked.

Blaise laid his palm over Harry\'s lips prohibitively. \"You and me, Harry. You and me tonight.\"

And then Blaise had kissed him.

Sex with Blaise was easy, and grand, and mind-blowing.

Sex with Draco and Blaise, as Harry learned the next night, was even better.

In the morning, he was able to look them in the eye. He made breakfast, showered, and went to work. Then he came home, lay about in the living room with them, made dinner, and they all went to bed.

And so the pattern of days was set.

*****

The day Ron and Bill Weasley came to see Harry was a most informative day.

He learned three things that day. One, that Percy got surprisingly plenty of news on the Death Eater front, working up at the Ministry. Two, that Ron and any and every Slytherin hated one another still. Three, that odd as it seemed, Blaise seemed to like Bill Weasley an awful lot for saying \"Weasleys are dirt-poor wizarding scum\" along with Draco. He found these things out over the course of the day, which went something like this:

He\'d come home from work and lay down in the living room with his Slytherins, as usual, when the doorbell rang.

Blaise sat up.

Draco went to answer the door.

Harry continued to lie there.

Soft conversation drifted from the doorway.

Blaise padded out of the room.

Harry followed him with his eyes, sitting up.

Snarls and thuds followed, along with the sounds of what might be a catfight from the entranceway.

Harry ran to the scene.

Draco, Ron and Blaise were brawling in the hallway.

A few well-cast spells and his Slytherins were slinking back inside to lick their wounds and heal each other, and Harry helped Ron to his feet. \"You ok?\" He asked.

Ron nodded. \"Sirius told me you were living with two snakes, but I thought he was making a joke or something.\" He rubbed his neck absently.

Bill appeared around the corner. \"Oi! Harry! How are you?\" He shook hands with Harry and turned to Ron.

\"Now who beat *you* up?\"

Ron muttered something unintelligible.

\"Come inside, and I\'ll make some tea.\" Harry offered.

\"Is it safe to?\" Ron asked gloomily, looking past Harry at the open door and the depths beyond.

\"Yeah.\" Harry answered. \"Snake pit or not, they\'re harmless.\"

Ron and Bill came in.

\"Say, who\'s they?\" Bill inquired. And stopped short at the sight of Blaise and Draco on Harry\'s couch.

Ron plucked at Harry\'s sleeve. \"Let\'s go into the kitchen, I\'ll help you with that tea. We\'ve brought news from Percy you might want to hear.\"

Bill slid over and sat on the couch beside Blaise and Draco, eyeing Blaise particularly and ignoring Ron and Harry. \"Hello.\" Harry heard him say, and then Ron closed the kitchen door behind them.

After the tea was started, Ron and Harry settled down at the table.

\"Bill\'s been staying with Percy lately, and this past week they got a spot of news up at the Ministry Bill thought I might be interested in sharing with you.\" Ron began.

\"It seems that a few suspected Death Eaters are becoming a little more \'active\', if you know what I mean, buying and selling Dark Arts paraphernalia and all that rot. A few were caught and raided, but there wasn\'t much to be found.\"

The kettle began to steam, and Ron paused while Harry poured them tea.

\"Last week, it seems the Malfoy summer house was raided while they were in residence - and you can bet Lucius was spitting mad. I think he threatened to stuff a few people up the arse with that cane of his, but he didn\'t do anything. They didn\'t even take the Malfoys into custody, just let \'em go, can you believe that? Didn\'t confiscate nothing, either. But the real crux is, one of the Aurors happened to mention that he thought he saw something down there, and nobody else had seen it. He didn\'t think it was important, and mentioned it to Perce.\"

Ron had a second cup of tea.

\"Now, you know how Perce is, he gets and idea and he researches the hell out of it. He discovers that the item was some kind of concentrating device, for magical power. Then, being Percy, he tries to find out which spells require that kind of power. Turns out, there\'s only three. One is for making a squib out of a wizard. The other is for making a castle protection spell.\"

He leaned forward.

\"Now here\'s the interesting part. Its third use is in raising people from the dead. Sound like anyone you know?\"

\"Voldemort. How much power would it take to raise him?\"

Ron shrugged. \"Knowing how powerful he was, and guessing at the number of Death Eaters in his employ, a nice little Death Eater office picnic would provide all that he needed.\"

\"And then he\'d be back full strength, maybe more.\"

\"Exactly.\"

\"I\'m glad you told me. Give my thanks to Percy, the man is a genius.\" Harry said, dumbfounded.

Ron rose. \"You\'re welcome, Harry. My goodness, it\'s getting late. Sorry to drop in and drop out, but I\'ve got to go mate.\"

\"It\'s no problem.\" Harry said, putting the cups in the sink.

They went into the living room to see Bill on the couch, with Blaise on his lap, facing him. Blaise\'s shirt had ridden enough that he was sitting bare on Bill\'s thighs, and his head was tilted back, Bill whispering against his neck, Blaise\'s hands wound in Bill\'s long red hair, both of their eyes closed. Draco leaned close against Bill\'s arm, eyes shining.

Harry felt a stab of jealousy.

Ron cleared his throat.

Bill\'s eyes opened, and he tucked Blaise against his chest. \"Harry.\" He said.

\"Bill. Seducing both my roommates, I see.\"

Bill smiled. \"Only a little. They\'re loyal, I assure you.\"

Ron huffed. Harry forced a smile. \"Ron\'s said you\'d both best be going, so I\'ll see you around, eh?\"

Bill slid Blaise off his lap into Draco\'s arms and got up. \"Yep, see ya around. We\'ll all have to go out sometime.\"

Harry saw how Blaise and Draco\'s eyes shone at the oldest Weasley, particularly Blaise\'s, and led the brothers to the door.

When they were gone, he took his time coming back into the living room, and leaned on the wall, not joining them on the couch.

\"Improper pureblood.\" Draco faked a scowl. \"I must go and wash. Wouldn\'t want to catch a case of poverty.\" He left and went into the bathroom.

Blaise just looked at Harry. \"I\'m sorry.\" he said after a long silence, looking down.

\"It\'s alright, I mean...\" Harry fumbled for words. \"I mean, I do really like you, but if you want him...\"

\"We can\'t.\" Draco said from the bathroom doorway.

\"What?\" Harry asked.

\"Can\'t have sex with anyone but you. Be loyal to anyone but you. Refuse you.\" he laughed shortly. \"It\'s the bonding spell he cast on us.\"

\"Did he...?\" Harry couldn\'t help but ask.

\"Sure, he\'d rut off on our legs now and then, but it was never a problem until you.\" Blaise said. \"We wanted you. Both of us. No matter what Draco says. You\'re irresistible, Harry Potter. \'No man can serve two masters, for he will hate the one and love the other.\'\"

\"I didn\'t know you read the Bible.\" Harry said.

\"Slytherins read everything they can, and learn everything they might be able to use for their own purposes. That\'s how we know about the bond. And the fact that it has no counter spell. Permanent dependence. A slaver\'s charm. So you see, even if he wanted Bill Weasley more than you, he could never have him.\" Draco informed him.

\"I\'m sorry...I didn\'t know.\"

\"Wasn\'t your fault.\" Draco said oddly gently, with a shrug. \"Our lives are fucked, and it wasn\'t your fault.\"

Harry slumped to the floor and covered his face with his hands, feeling guilty.

Blaise and Draco went to bed alone that night, and many nights after.

*****

The day Harry nearly lost them both was a dark day.

He hadn\'t known that they had Slytherinish ways of knowing what was going on. Hadn\'t known they\'d happen to have a streak of Gryffindor courage and go vaunting off to \'handle\' Voldemort for him.

Only that he got the call at work to Apparate to a battleground, and was surprised as hell to see them there.

Once on the scene, he scurried to the familiar shelter of Nox\' elbow to survey the fight. Apparently a Death Eater meeting on the grounds of somebody\'s mansion had been broken up just in time by the dragons.

Nox snarled and swung his head low to the ground, sending the hexing crowd of Death Eaters flying through the air. With an earth-shaking howl of glee that preceded utter destruction and gory scenes, Lumos reared up on his hind legs and dug his claws into the building where the Death Eaters were gathered. The structure splintered and he stuck his head inside, landing on his forefeet. His bloodied face emerged a moment later, grinning.

Nox ambled over and beganwrecwreck it with him. Massive reptilian legs stomped, armored bodies swung in graceful arcs, the strength of tons behind them. When the building was at ground level, Death Eaters swarmed out of it like an ant bed. Nox squealed at the sight of one particular Death Eater, and Harry caught sight of Lucius Malfoy\'s panicked face and long loose blonde hair. He didn\'t move fast enough to stop him, and Draco swallowed him to the waist. Lumos, the more bloodthirsty fighter, smiled grimly in eagerness and reached out on his long neck to take the other half of the man. Lucius screamed, and blood ran down Nox and Lumos\' chins as they pulleay fay from one another, gulping like greedy crocodiles. Lucius\' snake headed cane clattered down at Harry\'s feet, echoing of justice.

Sudden shouts from behind caused Harry to whirl and instinctively draw wand. Black-robed Aurors flooded onto the scene and began hexing the Death Eaters. Harry, caught in the crossfire, yelled out. \"Nox!\" The dragon lumbered over, having worked his way apart from his master, seeing Harry\'s need for cover. Lumos kept guard of the ruins, mauling those who dared attempt escape. With Nox for cover, Harry trotted behind a broad thigh, trying to help the Aurors without being caught from the other side. Nox paused and groaned in pain when a stray shot hit him, but kept on. Harry kept even with his faltering steps and Nox loyally lumbered on, despite the blood running in swift streams down his right foreleg.

Behind him he heard Lumos scream in his deep pitched voice, and felt the ground shudder as his friend went down. Harry swore, and kept Nox headed for cover with a well-placed word. When they had reached the safety of the trees, Nox transformed back into Draco, who lay on the ground, writhing in pain, grasping his profusely bleeding shoulder. Harry knelt beside him and bound the deep wound as best he could, then crept to the brush line and looked out at the battle.

The Aurors appeared to be winning, even if the Death Eaters were using the fallen Lumos as cover. Harry hoped he wasn\'t dead. Harry turned away from the sight to look at Draco, who panted harshly in pain, face drawn and lips white.

A few ineffective healing charms proved that the wound Draco had got had been a doozy - charmed to stay and to slowly kill. Harry resorted to muggle methods, binding Draco\'s bleeding arm to stop the flow, and waited out the battle. Draco passed out from the pain, and Harry kept pressure on the wound. An Auror came to check on them, having seen where they went. \"You all right?\" he asked. Harry nodded. \"Hang on to him, he\'s got a Dark Mark.\" The Auror said, and raised his wand.

\"No!\" Harry shouted, to stop him.

Dumbledore appeared beside the Auror. \"I say man, do stop. This one is on our side.\"

The Auror mumbled an apology and knelt to see to Draco\'s wounds.

\"Are you alright, Harry?\" The older wizard inquired.

\"Yes sir. Were you in the battle?\" Harry wondered, helping the Auror as best as he could.

Dumbledore chuckled. \"Perhaps, my boy, perhaps.\" His eyes were shining.

Tall and black, Snape appeared in the brush next to them. \"Mr. Potter. How is Mr. Malfoy?\" He inquired, clutching a wound of his own.

\"Lucius is dead. Draco needs to be taken to an infirmary. Watch over him, Professor?\" Harry said, letting the Auror lay Draco on a stretcher to Apparate off with him.

Snape nodded in agreement, and took Draco\'s wrist, feeling for the pulse.

\"Have you seen Blaise?\" Harry asked, not seeing the dragon when he looked at the battlefield in the open beyond the trees.

Dumbledore and Snape shook their heads.

Harry excused himself quickly, and ran toward the place he\'d seen him last.

**

As it turned out, Blaise had been hit with a petrificus, and aside from various scrapes and bruises was fine.

He and Harry found one another and then headed for the hospital ward of Hogwarts, where Draco would presumably be.

\"I don\'t hate you, you know.\" Blaise said.

\"Do you have to bring this up now?\"

\"Yes, I Eve Even if you could free us, I know I wouldn\'t want to be. Bill Weasley may be hot as hell, but he\'d drop Draco and I as soon as he got tired of seeing the same faces in his bed. You wouldn\'t ever do that, and not just because of your responsibility, but because of who you are. You\'re a secure future for both of us, which is a comfort, even if Draco would never admit how much he likes you.\"

\"I\'ve seen the tenderness between you two. Would you rather I let you be mates and not forced you?\"

\"Tenderness! We spent two years together in the same animagus form, fighting off animal instinct, fighting to keep our humanity. Of course there\'s affection there, as well as the bond. But were it not, he and I would never touch each other. His father is my uncle. We\'re first cousins. I know Malfoys are twisted, but not that sick. He\'d have taken a wife, I\'d have taken a wife, and we\'d have met up at Death Eater meetings once in a while.\"

\"What changed your plans?\"

Blaise smiled sadly. \"Lucius. He and Voldemort had a crackpot idea that a matched pair of dragons pulling the Dark Lord\'s chariot would be a very stylish thing to take over the world in.\"

\"And so all this happenedyou, you, for that? Lucius would do that to Draco?\"

\"He\'d do that to anybody. Make no mistake; Lucius Malfoy was one heartless bastard. Besides, I think he was hoping to take a wife in Draco\'s name and do fatherly duties in Draco\'s stead.\"

Harry made a face. Blaise grinned. \"My sentiments exactly.\"

They were at the door to the hospital ward. Blaise laid a hand on Harry\'s arm. \"Whatever Fate\'s cruel trick was in pairing you, I and Draco for life, I think it\'s been thwarted. Give him a chance. Give me a chance. Give yourself a chance. This may be the best thing in our lives yet. I can think of worse fates.\"

Harry nodded, and opened the door.

Draco slept ne one of the far beds, Snape perched in a chair over him. Blaise peered at their old teacher\'s face. \"Asleep,\" he noted to Harry.

Harry sat down on the bed beside Draco. Blaise lay down against Draco, an arm around his waist affectionately. Draco\'s lashes flickered open.

\"Potter.\" He said.

\"I\'m sorry, Draco.\"

His brows knit. \"For what?\"

\"You said before, that nobody asked you. Well, I want to give you the choice, even if you crumple it up and throw it back in my face because you want to.\"

Draco and Blaise smiled.

\"You too.\" Harry added to Blaise.

\"I\'m asking you now. Will you live with me as my lovers, my dragon anamagi, my matched pair of Slytherins?\"

Draco\'s smile broadened into a real , an, and he grabbed Harry around the neck and pulled him down atop them.

\"Yes, you stupid Gryffindor git.\" He said with true warmth and affection, surprising Harry.

Blaise kissed Harry\'s cheek. \"Yes, and may we live happily ever after.\"

Harry smiled. Draco kissed his hair.

Snape snorted wryly from the chair. \"Most touching, really.\"
