Chapter 9
Title: Things Don’t Go as Planned

Summary: Hermione gets bitten by Lupin during her third year. During the course of that year she finds her soul mate, gets a surprise, has odd effects, puts up with prats, finds a unusual friend, puts up with a meddling Headmaster, and wonders why the world has gone to hell, HG/RL pairing.

To yugio84: Thanks for your review. Loved it and sorry about the delay. I really want to write two more chapters this month before I take another break. I’m really thinking about how this story is going to go next and I want to do a good job.
To purefaith91: He’s a spy for the Order and he didn’t want Dumbledore to find out that Lily is alive. He’ll get nicer in the next couple of chapters, though not too nice.

Chapter 9
Snape knew that something had happened from the look that Harry had. He tried to figure out what it was but he couldn’t quite figure it out. He crawled into bed, thinking about everything, and then the door opened to reveal his wife wearing something that should be outlawed. It was a see-through nightgown that was green. Snape licked his lips and she smiled.
“I’m glad that you like it,” Lily said.
“Come here, witch, and I’ll show you how much I like it.”
Lily grinned and joined her husband. Snape cast a simple silencing charm and showed his wife how much he really liked the nightgown.

“I can’t believe that Lupin did that,” Harry hissed. “Raping Hermione.”
“It’s a werewolf thing, I think,” his brother said, “Don’t worry; I’m sure that your friend can handle him.”
“If she doesn’t I’m going to rip off his balls and tape them to his forehead,” Harry snarled.
“Violent,” his brother commented.
“Very,” Harry answered, “Hermione is a sweet girl and doesn’t need to be tied down to horny man.”
“Too much info,” his brother said.
Harry sat down on his bad and thought over everything. Hermione must have been bitten and that meant that other things had happened. He was going to get to the bottom of this and that included finding out how in the world his mother had really survived. He had heard the story but he really didn’t believe it, not that he wasn’t happy that she was alive.
“Are you okay with mum being alive,” his brother asked.
“Sure,” Harry answered.
“Do you think that we could be brothers when I get to Hogwarts,” he asked, “I know that you have your own friends but I would like to know that I have a friendly face when I get there.”
Harry knew what it was like to not have any friends and he said, “Sure, I don’t see any problem with that.”
“Great,” he said and then Harry turned in for the night.
The next morning Harry saw Snape leaving. He had a huge smile on his face, which was scary. Once he was gone he headed into the kitchen. His mother was making breakfast and he offered to help.
“Children don’t cook breakfast,” Lily told him.
“Why, I did it-.”
“Harry, Sev told me that you cooked for the Dursley’s,” Lily said, “I’m not having you cook. I can cook without any problems.”
The other children arrived and the little one jumped into her chair.
“So any news about Sirius Black,” his brother asked.
“I don’t want to talk about it,” Lily said.
“Yeah, that’s because he betrayed you and-.”
“Harry, Sirius never betrayed us,” Lily told him, “We switched.”
“To who,” his brother asked.
“To Peter Pettigrew,” Lily answered, “I can’t believe that he hasn’t been caught.”
Harry couldn’t believe that she was saying this. Everyone knew the truth, except her.
“You’re not my mother,” Harry said, “My mother would know the truth.”
“Harry, I am your mother,” Lily said, “I’m telling the truth.”
“Like hell you are,” Harry snarled.
“Harry James Potter you will not use words like that,” Lily scolded.
Harry left the room, running up the stairs.
Harry left the manor and returned to Hogwarts. He was so mad and the first person that he ran into was Remus Lupin. He gave the man such a look of hate that the Professor backed away.
“HOW DARE YOU RAPE HERMIONE,” Harry yelled, “SHE’S A GOOD PERSON AND DOESN’T DESERVE SOME LOW LIFE LIKE YOU.”
“I didn’t-.”
“DON’T LIE!” Harry yelled, “YOU’RE A SICK PERVERT!”
He saw Lupin backing away and Harry stormed off.

“He called me a pervert,” Lupin told Dumbledore.
“Remus, I know that you didn’t intend for this to happen,” Dumbledore said.
“I know that but it doesn’t make me feel any better,” Lupin told him.
“Have you patched things up with Miss Granger?”
“She’s willing to give me a second chance,” Lupin told him.
“Great,” Dumbledore said, “Why don’t you take her to Hogsmead when term begins, on Saturday?”
“But-.”
“Remus, you have to build a foundation,” Dumbledore said, “She’s right, there’s more to a relationship than sex.”
“And how do you know all this?”
“Because I happened to be in a relationship,” Dumbledore answered.
Remus so didn’t want to know what kind of relationship Dumbledore had been in.

Note: Sorry about the long delay, things are not going to way that I wanted with my time. I will try and have two more chapters up by the end of the month. I really want to think about what I’m going to write before I write it. Also on another note, boy Harry really told Lupin what he thought of him. Next up: Snape has a talk with Harry about what he said, Peter is caught, and Lily’s word is proven.
