Make You See My Love

Peter turned to his best friends and fellow Marauders. He knew he was in for it he just didn’t know what he was in for in the extent of what they were going to do to him. He did however have a feeling that it involved him being in the infirmary for quite some time recovering. He wouldn’t be far from the truth either at that very moment it took all of their composure to keep from kicking his ass. Remus was fuming thinking about what has been said. How could Peter betray them in such a way and help the Dark Lord kill their best friend and future wife and then allow Sirius to sit in Azkaban falsely accused of betrayal and murder. While Peter got to live a good life even though he would live as a rat.

He turned slowly to his friend of six and a half years and looked at him as he cowered under his gaze and as he looked at him he realize just how this would come about. He felt unwanted and hated by everyone and because of that he had turn on a man that preyed on his weakness. Not because he wanted to but because he was forced to by his father. He looked at Sirius who was at one point forced to make a decision either make his family happy and join the Dark Lord or leave and never come back and he chose to leave because he didn’t think blood mattered. He ran off to live with the Potter’s and they welcomed all four of them with open arms. He turned back to the girls who were holding Hermione, his future victim. How can she be nice to him knowing that he is the one that made her into the creature he is? At this thought he thought about the potion she spoke of Wolfsbane she called it. What did it do exactly? It obviously didn’t cure the malady that they suffered but why hadn’t he ever heard of it before? Was it something that hasn’t been created before now and why would she asked Snape of all people in the wizarding world to brew it. His mind was racing with many questions but he wanted to stick to what was important for now.

“What’s the Wolfsbane Potion I heard you speaking of it with the girls earlier?” He asked quietly.

Luna looked up and then back at Hermione. When it looked like Hermione wasn’t going to answer she turned back to the wolf and spoke.

“The Wolfsbane potion is a potion designed not to cure Lycanthrope but to make the transformation from human to wolf a little bit more bearable. You drink it for the two nights before the full moon and then the night of the full moon. Basically what it does is help you keep a small piece of your human mind so that you can have some control over what you do.”

“What does that mean exactly?” Remus and James asked at the same time both stopping to look at one another with a knowing look on their faces before turning back to Luna.

“Well it means that after you transform if you should want to lay down and sleep through the night in the Shack then you will do just that. You have as much control as possible. While not taking you don’t have any control except to watch the events roll by. The Wolfsbane is as Hermione insists on saying a gift to those who suffer with the illness that don’t want to hurt anyone.”

“Well if that’s the case how was it that I was able to bit her?” Remus asked a little hurt because he felt that if he had taken the potion she should be fine right.

“Because when Professor Snape brought you the Wolfsbane potion to take on Schedule you were in the shrieking shack trying to save your students from Sirius cause at that point you didn’t know that he was innocent of the crimes he was accused of so you were unavailable to take your potion. Look what happened that night, didn’t happen because you purposely put your self in the situation. It happened because you were trying to do the right thing and protect first your best friends son and your students from a man that everyone deemed insane.” She looked at Sirius when she heard him scoff at the comment. “Yes insane. That’s what happens to people in Azkaban it was twelve years you spent there.” She looked back at Remus. ”Not to mentioned you had no idea that Peter was still alive. You thought that in a moment of rage Sirius killed off your other best friend and didn’t know what he would do to Harry.”

She stood there with a look of sadness on her face.

“Why does Snivelus have to brew the potion? I’m sure one of you is fully capable of brewing the potion. Why Snivelus?” Sirius asked angrily.

She turned her wand on him as she replied. “Because believe it or not he is fully capable of brewing the potion first try without messing up. He has an appreciation for the craft of potion making. Professor Slughorn took over Potions last year for Professor Snape and he botched the damn potion and because of that Hermione almost killed Pansy. After that Professor Dumbledore requested that Professor Snape brew the potion every month for Hermione and he agreed. Mainly because he knew what it was like to almost be food for a Werewolf and now I understand why. How dare you Sirius Black be so hateful to him? You treat him like he’s dirt beneath your shoe and not as a human being.”

“Believe me honey he’s no angel. He’s gotten us just as good. How do we know he won’t try to poison them?” Sirius replied.

Next thing he knew he was hanging upside down with this robes around his head. When Remus and James and Peter looked at Ginny and Hermione who had their wands drawn and Pansy was laughing her ass off behind them.

“Oh that’s just priceless. Let’s make this more interesting shall we.” Pansy replied as she drew her wand as well. She pointed it at Sirius and whispered something under her breath next thing anyone knew he was just wearing boxers but not any kind of boxers old grey faded boxers.

“Does this scene look familiar to any of you? Of course this isn’t by the lake or anything and you guys haven’t just finished your O.W.L.S but you can got the idea right? So what does it feel like Sirius hanging upside down with your boxers exposed to the world?”

“Put him down now?” Yelled James as he wand pointed at Pansy.

“Or what? You’re going to hex us? Look around you Potter I don’t think your man enough to hex me. Not when we have Ginny with her wand on you and let me remind you she’s deadly accurate with her hexes. I know this from experience. So let me just give you some warning now. If you try to fight us you’ll soon see that your not any kind of match to us. All of you get to sit around all day worry about what your going to wear to the next quidditch game while we have actually been fighting in a war. A war let me remind you that we won thanks to your asshole son.”

“So you think your going to bully us around?” James asked.

“That’s not what I said. I said if you try to duel with us you’ll lose. We are not about bullying people around. But we won’t hesitate to get things straight and if that includes hexing then so be it. By the way you need to watch out Peter is trying to make a run for it.” Pansy replied.

Both boys turned around to see Peter trying to inch away of course he didn’t get very far however when he was suddenly dropped down by a stupidfy aimed by Remus. He wasn’t through with the rat by a long shot. They then turned back to the girls to see them lower Sirius slowly and easily to the ground. But before they released him Luna took his wand to make sure he didn’t start hexing them in anger. That wouldn’t have looked to good for him. She handed the wand to Remus before she walked over and giggled with the girls quietly before calming and becoming quiet as they watched him stand up with pride. Oh he was pissed that’s for sure. He walked right over to Pansy and looked her dead in the eye before looking at the other two who had smirks on their face.

“How dare you?” Sirius said with a deadly calm

“Oh we dare. Look we are not going to just stand here and listen to you try to make yourself look better then someone else. So what if your last name is Black. That’s not really saying much look at the rest of your family. You’re the only one worth anything Sirius. But I spent the last three and a half years cut down Professor Snape because your childish rivalry. It’s time to grow up and be a man. Severus made some mistakes in his life that at the moment he thinks are good ideas because he doesn’t have anyone else to stir him away from them. But I can guarantee that he will change his mind in about two year or so. Most specially when the Dark Lord targets your best friend and his wife and child. When that happens he’s going to go to Dumbledore and spy for the order to take down the Dark Lord. He’s the spy and he was a beautiful success and without him we would be dead right now. Severus is good at what he does and I trust him even though he’s a snarky bastard I trust him with my life. But right now at this moment he’s lost. His father killed his mother after years of beating and raping her he killed her and then to add what you guys...” Ginny replied.

“Not to mention what’s going on at this point in the Slytherin House. I didn’t know it went on till I got here but let’s just say it’s disgusting. Your poor brother... I think that when Severus became head of house he changed things because these type of things didn’t go on while he was my head of house.” Pansy offered.

“Right! Look just lay off him ok. I’m not saying that if he hexes you ignore it. But don’t hex him because it would be funny. Just leave him alone.” Ginny said quietly brushing a tear away thinking of everything that he must have gone through in his life.

Sirius was about to say something when he was interrupted by a scream and they all turned to find Hermione on the ground on all fours and the sun was slowly disappearing behind the mountain in the distance. Dark was approaching.
