Chapter Nine
Sex at the Weasleys!
Chapter Nine
‘Ready?’ Remus asked, watching Billie nervously fidgeting with her clothes.
‘I suppose,’ she said, feeling anxious. She took another look at herself, wishing she’d bought some nicer clothes with her.
They were just about to apparate to Remus’ friends home for Christmas lunch, having spent the morning in bed celebrating the season of giving - and demonstrating their own very personal take on the theme for each other. They had agreed a few days earlier not to get each other any gifts, neither needing a material present from the other.
‘You look fine, Belle,’ Remus said, coming up to her and putting his arms around her. He lowered his head and kissed her neck. ‘You are gorgeous.’
He kissed her again, working his way up to her ear. ‘God, you smell good,’ he mumbled against her rapidly warming skin.
Billie sighed, thinking the same about him. She could smell his soap and aftershave, and it was making her feel a little weak. She turned in his arms and kissed him, her breath quickening as he responded, tightening his grip on her.
‘Maybe we should just stay here,’ she said, feeling him tip his head to give her mouth better access to his neck. Remus let out a breath of laughter and pulled away.
‘You should be ashamed of yourself,’ he said with a smile. ‘Using your body to distract me.’
She grinned, and he took her hand. ‘No more procrastinating,’ he told her, leading her to the door and outside. ‘Hang on.’
He spun slowly and they felt the suffocating sensation of apparition overcome them, taking their breath away for a moment, then releasing them. They both gasped a little, getting oxygen into their compressed lungs, then Billie looked around at the house in front of them.
‘Wow,’ she said, with a raised eyebrow.
‘Don’t ask what’s holding it together,’ Remus said with a grin as he eyed the lopsided, multi level house. ‘It’s best not to think about it.’
Billie laughed, then heard a voice call out.
‘Remus!’ said the red headed woman who appeared from a nearby chook pen.
‘Hi Molly,’ he replied as she hugged him hard. ‘Merry Christmas.’
‘Merry Christmas,’ she said, patting his cheek as she pulled away.
‘You look different, Remus,’ she noticed, frowning slightly as she looked at him.
Her eyes moved to Billie and she smiled. ‘And I think you might be the reason for that.’
Remus quickly introduced them, Molly brushing aside Billie’s hand to hug her. Remus tried to apologise for the late acceptance of her invitation.
‘You know you are always welcome, Remus,‘ she said, ‘And anyone that can make you look as happy as you do is welcome as well.’
Molly smiled at Billie and waved at them. ‘Well come on,’ she said, moving towards the house. ‘Just about everyone is here.’
There was a loud cry as Remus entered the room, his friends rising to greet him. There was hardly any room to move, the small room holding eleven people already. Remus shook hands with several of the men, then hugged a beautiful blonde woman. He waved over to the younger group near the fire, Billie recognising Harry Potter, who stood and moved through the crowd towards them.
‘Hi Remus,’ he said, embracing the man. ‘Merry Christmas.’
‘Merry Christmas, Harry,’ he said, as they pulled away from each other.
Harry smiled at Billie. ‘Nice to see you again, Billie,’ he said, grinning at her as he made his way back to his friends.
‘Ok, everyone, this is Billie,’ Remus said loudly, over the chatter. ‘Belle, this is everyone.’ Billie smiled and a general cry of welcome rang out.
‘I’ll do names but I don’t expect you to remember them all,’ he said a bit quieter as they took the seats a scarred man bought forward for them.
‘This is Bill Weasley,’ he said, and the man smiled.
‘Good to finally meet you, Billie,’ he said with a sly look at Remus. ‘He writes about you all the time.’
‘Shut up, Bill,’ Remus mumbled, his face turning a little pink as Billie grinned.
‘My wife, Fleur,’ Bill said, indicating the blonde Remus had hugged earlier.
Fleur smiled at Billie. ‘I’ve heard a lot about you, Billie,’ she said, her smile broadening as Remus groaned.
Billie giggled at his discomfort, telling Bill and Fleur how nice it was to meet them.
They sat down in the chairs and Remus pointed to the young adults over near the fire, saying, ‘The red head next to Harry is Ron, and the other red head with her hand on Harry’s thigh is Ginny.’
Bill looked over when he heard Remus’ words, frowning at his younger sister.
‘The one who obviously is not a Weasley is Hermione, Ron’s girlfriend,’ continued Remus with a grin at Bill. He indicated the nearly bald man sitting on a nearby sofa. ‘That’s Arthur, Molly’s husband.’
Arthur heard his name and raised his hand in a wave. Billie smiled, as Remus continued.
‘The red head with the glasses is Percy, and that’s Charlie next to him. Watch him, he’s a bit of a flirt.’
Bill laughed, saying, ‘He’s right, Billie. His hands tend to wander.’
Fleur snorted delicately, and Bill frowned at her.
‘And the other red head is George,‘ he finished, turning back to her and smiling. ‘That’s it.’
Billie smiled and Fleur drew her into a conversation about her job, Bill and Remus chiming in occasionally.
Charlie joined them, shaking hands with Billie as Remus introduced them properly. Charlie sat opposite Remus and raised his eyebrows at him.
‘She’s hot,’ he mouthed, causing Bill to snort in laughter, hurriedly trying to disguise it as a cough.
‘Hands off, ‘ Remus mouthed back at him, putting his arm around Billie’s back. ‘She’s mine.’
Bill and Charlie laughed, as Billie and Fleur looked at them curiously.
‘Remus, come and help me and Charlie set up the tables for lunch,’ Bill said hastily. He and Charlie stood up, but Remus paused.
‘You ok?’ he asked Billie and was relieved to see her smile.
‘Fine,’ she answered. ‘You go.’ Remus smiled and leaned over to kiss her, both of them grinning and blushing when they heard the teenagers whistle.
As Remus walked out, Molly entered the room, taking his chair. ‘Right, everything’s ready. We’ll just wait for Kingsley to arrive then we’ll eat.’
She eyed Billie thoughtfully. ‘Come for a walk with me, Billie,’ she said, standing. ‘I’ll show you around.’
Billie stood and followed the woman out of the house. They walked around the house, finally stopping and sitting on a bench under a shady tree, not far from where the three men were supposedly setting up the lunch tables. Billie stifled a laugh when Molly called out to admonish them for using their wands to send the tables into the air, crashing into each other. Bill and Charlie laughed, and repaired the tables, Remus looking over and calling out an apology. He stared at Billie for a moment, smiling, then set about repairing his table’s leg.
‘I’ve known Remus for quite some time now,’ said Molly quietly, staring at the brown haired man. ‘He’s had a pretty miserable life. He’s dated a little, but most women back right off straight away when they find out about his…problem.’
Billie looked over at the other woman as she continued. ‘The ones that stick around for longer do it because they find it exciting - for a while. Then, when Remus starts to think that maybe this one’s different, they run away. They can’t handle the stigma attached to being with a werewolf.’
Molly finally looked at her, a frown on her face. ‘I’ve never seen him look as happy as he does today,’ she said. ‘But I’m warning you now, if you are going to run; if you don’t care for him the way he obviously does for you, then go now. Leave now. He’s never loved before, Billie. So if you can’t love him back, go. Before you do any permanent harm to his heart.’
Billie stared at the woman for a moment, then looked over at Remus, who was talking now with the other two men, laughing at what Charlie was saying.
‘I’ve made a lot of bad choices in my life, Molly,’ she said, not taking her eyes off Remus. ‘And I’ll admit that, at first, I thought Remus was going to be the latest in a long line of shitty decisions.’
She looked back at the older woman. ‘But I’ve never met anyone like him before. And I never thought someone like him would ever love someone as damaged as me.’ Looking back at Remus, she smiled.
‘We both have our demons, Molly. And if he can accept mine, then I sure as hell can accept his. I already love him, and you’re going to have to put a bomb under me to get me to leave.’
She turned and looked at Molly, daring her to doubt her. Molly stared back at her for a few seconds, then smiled.
‘You don’t know how happy I am to hear that,’ she said, getting a little teary eyed.
She threw her arms around Billie, who laughed a little uncertainly and hugged her back.
‘What’s going on?’ she heard Remus’ voice say, amused. Molly let her go, and they both looked up at him.
‘Nothing,’ said Molly, wiping at her eyes. ‘Just getting to know each other.’ She stood up quickly and hugged a bemused Remus hard.
‘She’s lovely, Remus,’ she whispered. ‘Hang on to her.’
Remus smiled. ‘I intend to, Molly,’ he responded.
‘Mum, Kingsley’s here,’ they heard George call, and Molly quickly disappeared into the house. Remus looked at Billie, who stood up.
‘Was she grilling you?’ he asked. Billie smiled and nodded.
‘Just asking me about my intentions towards you,’ she replied, moving closer.
Remus grinned. ‘And what did you tell her?’ he asked, sliding his arms around her waist and pulling her against him.
Billie’s arms moved around his neck. ‘Well it’s hard to describe,’ she said with a smile, her eyes on his lips. ‘I’ll have to show you.’
She stood on tip toe and pressed her lips to his, kissing him slowly, then, as his lips parted, deepening it. His arms tightened around her, and he lifted her slightly so her body rubbed against his. Billie could feel his arousal and felt an answering response in herself, as his tongue flicked over hers, making her moan softly in to his mouth. Her hands moved around his neck to cup his face, running her thumbs along his jaw, feeling him groan in his chest.
He moved and, still holding her off the ground, staggered towards the tree behind her and pushed her up against it. His hand moved, pulling her shirt out of the waist band of her skirt, shoving his hand up until it covered her breast. Billie moaned again as his fingers teased her nipple through her bra, pushing herself harder into his hand. Breathing heavily, Remus pulled down the cup of the bra so he could slide his hand over her bare skin, making a small sound in his throat at both the feel of her skin, and the touch of her tongue on his throat as her mouth moved down, licking him.
Breath coming rapidly, their hands fumbled over each other, until Remus moved. He looked back up at the house, then pulled Billie further into the trees.
‘Remus,’ she giggled, but he pushed her back up against a large tree trunk, and kissed her hard and hot.
‘I can’t wait, Belle,’ he said, running a hand up her skirt.
‘I think they’ll miss us,’ she said, but her own hands were undoing his belt quickly.
‘I don’t care,’ he whispered, his voice a little strangled as her hand moved into his pants. ‘Anyway,’ he added, his fingers sliding into her, making her gasp and thrust up to him. ‘This won’t take very long.’
Billie laughed again, then kissed him fiercely. She pulled his pants down far enough to release him and Remus pushed her up against the tree trunk, lifting her leg. Pushing her underwear aside, he moved so he could thrust up into her hard, hearing her soft cry. ‘Belle,’ he groaned into her neck as he moved again, and again. ‘You feel incredible.’ She wrapped her leg around him, helping him move within her. Remus grabbed her other thigh, and lifted it as well, pushing her back hard into the tree. He felt himself slide deeper into her and heard her groan of approval.
‘Fuck, yes,’ she whispered, and he felt himself hovering on the edge.
‘Belle, now,’ he said desperately wanting to feel her clenching around him before it was too late.
‘Honey…’ he said, then heard her gasp and bite down hard on his neck, sucking his skin into her mouth as she tried to stifle her cries. Finally feeling her body tighten around him, he allowed himself to let go and felt his body explode inside her, his loud groan muffled against her chest as he pushed himself hard into her one last time.
Remus held Billie there for several seconds until his shaking legs couldn’t hold them any longer. He let go, her legs sliding to the ground, his body slipping out of hers.
‘Shit,’ he whispered, with a soft laugh. ‘I really can’t control myself around you.’
Billie smiled. ‘I need a wand,’ she said, grimacing a little. ‘Mine’s in the house.’
He handed her his and she performed a Cleansing Spell on them both, then a Contraceptive spell on herself. He was watching her with a frown as he took back his wand.
‘What?’ she said, tucking her shirt back in. He shook his head, unable to believe he’d been so careless for so long.
‘Nothing,’ he said, fastening his pants. ‘It can wait.’ He smiled at her, pushing the thoughts aside until they were alone.
‘I think that we’ve been away long enough now for them to have guessed what we’re doing,’ he teased, taking her hand and walking back to the house. ‘Let’s go and let them have their fun making insinuations all afternoon.’
They did have fun: Harry pointing out that the mosquitoes must be huge at Hogwarts to have left such a large bite mark on Remus’ neck.
‘Or did you get that on your walk through the trees before?’ he asked with an innocent air, dodging and laughing when Remus threw a bread roll at him.
When it was time to go, Billie got the same hugs that Remus did, and they were both pleased that the visit had gone so well. As Remus prepared to apparate them back to his house, Billie stopped him.
‘Can I take us somewhere first?’ she asked. ‘It won’t take too long, but I normally do this today.’
Remus nodded, looking at her curiously. She grasped his hand and spun them away.
They appeared in an open space, the grass broken regularly by stone markers. Remus looked around, suddenly understanding.
‘It’s just up here,’ Billie said, holding his hand and leading him over towards a large tree. She stopped just short of it, and looked down, taking a deep breath.
‘Remus, meet my son,’ she said.
He grasped her hand tightly as they looked down at the plaque.
‘Daniel Joseph Johnson,’ he said softly, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her close to him.
Laying her head on his shoulder, she closed her eyes, leaning into him. Remus turned his head and kissed her forehead.
‘Tell me about him,’ he whispered against her hair. Billie smiled.
‘He was beautiful, Remus,’ she said quietly. ‘He was perfect and so tiny, but strong. He fought for three days before he couldn’t hang on anymore.’
She felt tears rising and tried to fight them. ‘Belle, it’s alright,’ Remus said, feeling her struggle. ‘I’m here. Just let yourself go. I promise I’ll catch you.’
He felt a sob shake her, then held her tight as she cried.
Remus apparated them back to his house and Billie went for a shower, standing under the spray, letting it wash her troubles away.
Remus poked his head around the door, asking, ‘Do you want some dinner?’
She looked over and saw his eyes wandering away from her face. She smiled.
‘No, thanks,’ she said, turning to face him and give him a better view.
Her smile widened when she saw his mouth drop open a little. Heat seared through her as she saw the hunger in his eyes.
‘Why don’t you come in with me?’ she said, running the soapy washcloth over her breasts. ‘We should try and save water…’
But he didn’t need convincing, already starting to take off his shirt. Billie laughed, and moved under the spray as he stepped into the cubicle, pulling her into his arms and kissing her until she was having trouble breathing.
After complaining about having such a small shower, he pushed her up against the wall and took the cloth off her, soaping up every part of her body, his fingers lingering between her legs, stroking and moving until she cried out and he felt her tightening around him. Billie’s hands weren’t idle, teasing and stroking Remus until, just after her release, he kissed her hard as he also let go, groaning into her mouth.
‘It’s been a long time since I finished at third base,’ he said with a smile as Billie soaped him up a couple of minutes later.
‘We’ve never stopped at third base,’ she reminded him gently, and he grinned.
‘Yeah, we didn’t have that go slow phase, did we?’ he said. ‘Kind of leapt straight into it.’
Billie flushed as she ran the cloth over his back. ‘Mmm,’ she said, recalling that first night in her office. ‘How long would you have taken to kiss me if I hadn’t kissed you that night?’ she asked, curious as to whether he would have made a move if she hadn’t.
‘Probably another minute,’ he said, turning around and kissing her. ‘I was only just controlling myself when you jumped me.’
She smiled and looked him over. ‘You’re all clean again now,’ she said with a giggle. ‘At least I don’t need to do those spells again. One advantage of mutual masturbation - nothing to worry about.’ Remus’ smile faded a little, and Billie looked at him.
‘Mmm,’ she said, frowning. ‘There’s that look again.’
He smiled vaguely at her and turned off the water. ‘There is something we should talk about,’ he said, feeling a churning in his stomach as he dried off.
‘Are you sure you don’t want any dinner?’ he asked as they walked into his bedroom, wrapped in towels.
‘No,’ she answered, sitting on his bed. ‘I’d like to know why you keep frowning at me.’ He hesitated a moment, then sat down next to her on the bed.
‘Do you want children?’ he asked abruptly, and Billie looked up at him.
‘I wasn’t expecting that,’ she murmured, as she recovered from the surprise of his question. She bit her lip and looked at him.
‘This is something I should have probably told you when we started getting serious,’ she said quietly. ‘I…I can’t carry a baby. I can get pregnant, but the doctors said there was too much damage done when…..’
She stopped, swallowing hard against the anger she felt. ‘Anyway, they don’t think it’s likely I’d be able to carry a baby - not to term anyway. I can’t take the chance on another premature birth. I can’t go through that again.’ She saw his frown deepen and his jaw clench.
‘I’m sorry, Remus,’ she said, thinking he was angry she hadn’t mentioned it. ‘I should have told you.’
He shook his head. ‘No,’ he said. ‘I’m not upset with you.’
Remus sighed. ‘I haven’t given a second thought to contraception in nearly four months,’ he said, feeling a little disgusted in himself for putting all the responsibility on her. ‘I could have gotten you pregnant, and…’ He ran a hand through his hair.
‘There’s a lot that isn’t known about lycanthropy, including whether it’s hereditary, and if it is, in what circumstances. I….I can’t have children, Belle,’ he said with obvious sadness. ‘I can’t risk passing on this…..’ He paused as he struggled to find the words.
‘I don’t want a child of mine to suffer as I have; to go through what I have to. It’s too cruel, and I won’t be responsible for causing a child that pain.’
Billie put her arms around him, feeling how tense he was.
‘I can’t believe it didn’t once occur to me to ask about contraception,’ he mumbled, still wondering how he could possibly have been so stupid.
‘Because you want to see her belly swollen, knowing it’s your child growing inside her,’ his brain said, but he shook the thought away.
He tried not to think about how very much he would love children of his own, and how very much he would love to see Billie carrying his child.
‘Don’t worry about it,’ she said soothingly. ‘I’ve been doing the spells. I guess a child just wasn’t meant to be for us.’
Remus stroked his hand down her back, then kissed her head, trying to shake off his feeling of sadness. He had never dreamed he’d have this: a woman who loved him.
‘Stop being so damn greedy, Remus,’ he thought.
Chapter Nine
‘Ready?’ Remus asked, watching Billie nervously fidgeting with her clothes.
