Chapter 8: Drama Queen, Thy Name is Yusuke.
Hi Everyone! Shiny-chan is here, in da howse! Yeah that was dumb. But I have posted one of the songfics currently bouncing
around my head. The title is Are You Ugly? Please check it out! Now to respond to my loyal reviewer. Please review people, it
makes me warm inside. If you don’t, I’ll sing My Favorite Things from the Sound of Music. And you don’t want that because my
best friend says my singing voice breaks glass. Doesn’t stop me from doing it though.
Bats: Mi amour! You get me so well! You’ve been right about everything so far! Yes there is Jealousy. Yes it is the very same
ice master from the Dark Tournament! Oh and about me making you laugh, it’s seriously my vocation in life to make people
laugh. Laughter is the best medicine or so they say. Please keep reviewing; I enjoy hearing what you’ve got to say.
Any ways, I ramble too much. On with the story.
Chapter 8, with cinnamon rolls with lots of gooey icing (drools making myself hungry T-T)

Angelina Johnson, the Gryffindor 7th year prefect, stood up after the welcome feast ended.
“First Years and transfers, come this way please.” She guided them up to Gryffindor tower and to the Fat Lady’s portrait,
where she greeted the crowd of children outside her portrait.
“Ok. This is the entrance to Gryffindor tower. The password is ‘tsuki no hikari’” the portrait swung open and Angelina led them
inside. Kurama looked at Yusuke.
“Interesting that they would choose moon’s light as a password.” Yusuke just shrugged.
“They probably didn’t think about any significance.” Angelina cleared her throat.
“On the left stairwell is the way to the guys’ rooms, on the right is the girls’. If any guy tries going up the girls’ stairs,
the gender activated charms will send you sliding on your arse. Transfers, your room is with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
Dean Thomas, Neville Longbottom, and Seamus Finnegan have been moved into another room next door.” Yusuke bounded up the left
staircase and found his things sitting on one of the beds. He saw Kurama’s things on the next bed. He quickly searched through
his trunk for his elusive blue communicator. Finally finding it, he opened it and called Koenma.
“Hello Yusuke, how’s everything going?” Yusuke exploded.
“WHY THE HELL DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THAT GRANDMA AND SNOW FAIRY WERE COMING, YOU BASTARD?” Koenma sighed.
“Precisely because I knew you’d be upset. I know you’re only upset about Touya, and I think you need to get over your
jealousy.”
“It’s that obvious, huh?”
“You’d have to be dead not to notice. So where are you?”
“In our room. Kurama is still downstairs doing who knows what. Hiei has been put in Slytherin. We are rooming with Harry and
Ron.”
“How did you get that lucky?”
“I don’t know, they just gave it to us. When is Touya getting here?”
“Well he just left here, and he’s got someone slowing him down, so I’d say about 4 to 5 hours at the least.”
“Ok. Later Diaper-Breath.” He closed the communicator on the beginnings of a tirade.
“YUSUKE, HOW-“click. Yusuke bounded down the stairs and out the portrait hole, passing Kurama and Shiori, who were sitting at
the fireplace. Yusuke stormed down the stairway, not knowing he had been followed, and crashed into someone. Yusuke tumbled
down the remaining ten or so steps and knocked his head against the wall. His vision blurred and he swayed as he tried to sit
up. Gentle hands steadied him, and he saw Kurama’s face when his vision cleared. Yusuke struggled to get up, ignoring
Kurama’s attempts to keep him from moving. Kurama finally picked Yusuke up, carried him upstairs bridal style, and sat him
down next to the portrait hole.
“Why are you so careless about your health, Yusuke?”
“Why do you care Kurama? It’s not like I’m the most pleasant person to be around. So why would you care if I act dumb once in a
while?” Kurama smacked the back of his head.
“OUCH! Dammit Kurama, wha’d ya do that for?” Kurama sighed.
“It’s because we all care for you as more than just our team leader, or hadn’t you noticed?” Yusuke was flabbergasted at his
words.
"Yusuke, why are you so upset? You’ve been in a terrible mood since dinner started.” Yusuke scowled at Kurama.
“That damn Touya hurt you badly and now Koenma wants him here? The only thing he’d have to do if he really wanted to hurt you
is send Karasu here!” Kurama flinched and shook before he took a deep breath and calmed down.
“Ah, so that’s it, huh? You don’t think it’s safe for Touya to be around me? Well, if it makes you feel better, he is no
longer powerful enough to hurt me, and we became friends at the end of our fight much like you and Jin.” Yusuke sighed with
relief and said the password.
“Thanks Kurama, that does make me feel a little better.” Yusuke walked into the common room, Kurama closely following, and
shut the door behind them. Niether of them had noticed Harry Potter sprawled on the stairs, stunned by the collision and all
he had just heard.

Harry hurried back to the library, where he had left Ron and Hermione. They hadn’t moved from the table since he had left.
Hermione looked up as he approached.
“Weren’t you going to get a quill and some ink so I could help you with your potions essay?”
“Yeah, but I just saw something weird. I had noticed that Yusuke was pissed at dinner when he heard Professor Touya’s name. I
ran into Yusuke and Suichi talking. Yusuke didn’t think Suichi should be around Touya because he had almost killed him. Also
Yusuke kept calling Suichi Kurama. Suichi tried to make Yusuke feel better by saying that he is now friends with Touya so he
won’t try to kill him anymore. Yusuke also mentioned someone named Karasu, and Suichi flinched like people flinch when someone
says Voldemort.” Ron looked confused.
“But what does that mean, mate?” Hermione gasped.
“I know I’ve seen those names before. You said Kurama and Karasu, right? I’ll just have to do some research. . .” Harry
shrugged.
“Don’t worry about it Hermione. I’m more concerned that a teacher tried to kill his student and now they’re friends. Also when
Yusuke fell down the stairs, Suichi was yelling at him for not taking care of himself. He said, and I quote, ‘We all care
about you as more than just our team leader.’ Leader of what team I wonder?”
“Hmmm. We definantly need to watch them. Meanwhile I’ll look up those names.”
“Ok, Hermione. I’m going to bed I’m tired.” Harry left the library and went back to Gryffindor tower.
