Chapter 6: Schemes in Place!
The Ministry of Magic was bussling with people from every nation known to man. The one man in the lead of the Ministry, and even people thought that he had no one but himself in mind. Rufus Scrimgeour was the only Minister of Magic that tried to help the people but wouldn’t have any power if he didn’t help himself to.
People went from one department to other, they flooed in and out, not really paying any attention to a mystery hooded man, who walked towards the Minister’s office. The mystery man walked like every pureblood that entered the Ministry.
To every one that saw him walk by, they seemed to think that he had been in the Ministry before because he knew exactly where to go. Like he knew exactly where the Minister’s office was.
The hooded figure walked up to the Minister’s door and knocked once and then waited for answer.
“Enter!” Came the reply from behind the Oak door.
The hooded figure entered the office with complete stealth. He shut the door behind him and walked towards the Minister’s desk. Scrimgeour looked up and stared at the man in front of his desk.
“Good morning to you sir. What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?” Scrimgeour asked politely to the figure and offered him a seat.
“Thank you Minister, you are very kind. The reason I have come to see you sir,” The man stopped when Scrimgeour held up his hand and smiled at the man.
“Please call me Rufus.” Scrimgeour said as he gave the hooded man a sickly sweet smile.
“Yes, Rufus, well the reason I have come to you is because I have a bit of proposition for you.” The hooded man said. He held himself like any pureblood would.
Scrimgeour sat there and listen as this mysterious figure that sat in his office, explained his proposition. The explained what he wanted to do to Morgan Castle, to him it was eye sore and wanted it destroyed. Scrimgeour sat in shock.
“But my dear, kind sir, I can’t have Morgan Castle destroyed! The Castle does not belong to the Ministry, and only the heir can have it destroyed.” Scrimgeour explain. He shook his head.
“But Minister, I know for a fact that Elizabeth Evanshire-Granger did not have any heir’s, so there for Morgan Castle falls to the Ministry’s hands and they can do with what they wish.” The hooded man said as he grinned evilly behind his hood.
“Morgan Castle as being in the Wizarding World for generations, and there are some who are still the descendants of the Morgan family, why on earth would I take away their family home?” Scrimgeour asked. He couldn’t understand this man in front of him.
“Well Minister I do believe that I can change your mind.” The hooded man said as he threw a bag full of galleons on Scrimgeour’s desk.
Scrimgeour sat there in shock for a minute then began to finger the coins in front of him. He made his decision as he ran fingers over all the coins that lay before him. He looked up at the hooded man, then back down at the coins and then back up at the hooded man.
“So my dear sir, what is this plan of yours?” Scrimgeour asked with a malicious smirk on his face. The hooded man nodded. He was finally going to be able to his plan in motion. By this time in two days time, Morgan Castle would seize to be part of Wizarding World
