Chapter 8

The morning after Hermione and Draco went to the headmaster, and when they arrived at Dumbledore’s office they heard him say *enter* so they walked in.

“ good morning headmaster” Draco and Hermione said

“well good morning to you too” Dumbledore said “ what can I do for you two”

“well, we wanted to ask you if you would do us the honor of be present at our wedding this Saturday. We are getting married and would love for you to be there, so we thought of going to Hogsmead to get married.” Draco said

“Well if you want, I can perform the ceremony here, and some of the teachers can be present” Dumbledore added. “And we could do it while the everybody are at Hogsmead, and after the ceremony you could join them there for a little while.”

Draco and Hermione looked at each other and nodded.

“we would love that, headmaster” Hermione said. “ Harry and Ginny are going to be present as well”

“I understand” Dumbledore said. “ do you have the paperwork ready that are needed ?”

“well I have the papers, but we have yet to fill them out” Draco said “could you help us”

“of course” Dumbledore said

They filled out the forms and Dumbledore sent them to the minister of magic to get the permission for the marriage.

“have you practiced anything for the Christmas ball yet.” Dumbledore asked

“yes we have, and we chose a really beautiful dance, but nobody gets to know which dance it is, until the Christmas ball itself” Hermione said smirking

When they left Dumbledore’s office there were people walking by who were surprised to see the heads arrive from the headmasters office, and Pansy, who had walked there, asked Draco what he was doing with the mudblood, and Draco just told her to shove off, the headmaster had wanted to talk to them about heads stuff.

“people won’t approve of us” Hermione said

“we shouldn’t think about what other people thinks of us. Just how we feel about each other” Draco said

“yeah, you’re right” Hermione said. “ but I wish people wouldn’t care if they are purebloods, half bloods or muggle borns. It just brakes my heart to see people act that way”

“ I know how you feel. We purebloods are proud of our heritage, but we shouldn’t condemn those who aren’t” Draco said.

The Saturday came very fast and Hermione and Ginny had went shopping for Hermione’s wedding dress and found a perfect dress for her they also bought a dress for Hermione so that she could dress in Hogsmead for dinner.

On Saturday morning Hermione woke up early, and took a long bubble bath that smelled of apples. She had just got out of the bath when she heard a knock on the door, and when she answered the door Ginny stood outside waiting to get in to help Hermione get ready for the wedding.

All the students were just leaving for Hogsmead, so there would be no one who would be left that they didn’t want to have present at the wedding. The professors that were escorting the students were professor Sprout and Professor Angela Johnson defense against the dark arts teacher. And the students wouldn’t be back until eight pm that night.

“Hermione. We need to get you dressed and get you ready for the ceremony, it starts in an hour, and we don’t know how long we need to get you ready.” Ginny said.

“ok. I have taken a bath so there is only my hair and make up, and the dress and the shoes left.” Hermione said.

They started fixing Hermione’s hair, and since she had perfect curls, they only had to make them look perfect. They put her hair up but let a few curls hang to perfect the look. They also put one white rose in her hair. They put a black eyeliner around her eyes and a little white shimmering dust there also so her eyes would look bigger, the put a little blush on her cheeks and a red lipstick on her lips. Then Ginny helped Hermione put on her dress, and Hermione looked perfect.

“Draco will fall in love with you all over again when he sees you in this dress” Ginny said.

“you really think so” Hermione asked her

“oh, yeah, of course” Ginny said. “ you look exquisite.

Then they heard a knock on the door, and Ginny opened the door to see who it was and it was Professor Snape who would walk her down the aisle. When he saw Hermione he was glad that he wasn’t straight, or else he might have had to fight his godson for the girl because she looked like an angel. He was very happy for Draco that he was marrying this beautiful and smart girl.

“you look exquisite Hermione “ Snape said

“thank you professor Snape” Hermione said with a blush, not used to get complements from the professor.

“ I’m just telling the truth” Snape said.” But we should get going, don’t let Draco wait any longer or he will walk a hole in the carpet.” Snape gave out a small chuckle

Hermione and Ginny also chuckled a little over the mental image of Draco pacing around nervous.

Snape took Hermione’s hand and walked with her towards the great hall where Harry and Draco, the headmaster and a couple of teachers were waiting for them to arrive.

When the wedding march began Ginny walked in first, and a few moments later Snape walked Hermione in and when Draco saw Hermione he thought his eyes would pop out of his head, because she was so beautiful in the ivory/platinum chiffon Strapless gown with fully beaded bodice and shirred chiffon flowing asymmetrically across the bodice to beaded accents. Full A-line skirt and semi-cathedral train. And her hair with the white rose so she looked like an angel. He couldn’t do more than stare at his fiancé.
Hermione saw how he looked at her an saw the love in his eyes, and got tears in her eyes, but chuckled a little at the look on his face. When they reached Draco, Snape put Hermione’s hand in Draco’s and left to stand beside them.
When the ceremony was over Harry, Ginny, the headmaster, and the teachers all congratulated them and told them all to go change into something more appropriate so that they could go to Hogsmead to enjoy their day together.
“when you are ready you should come to me so I can do a charm to conceal the rings and change your appearances so you can enjoy your day together without everybody trying to get you apart” Albus said
“thank you very much headmaster” Draco said with tears in his eyes, he was so happy that they would be able to enjoy their wedding day without thinking about what others would say about them.
Hermione picked a pink Strapless chiffon dress with a beaded neckline and three-tiered knee length skirt and a pink high heal shoes, and met Draco outside her bedroom door. They would sleep in the same bed, but still had to have their clothes in separate bedrooms so the Slytherin’s wouldn’t suspect anything or the Gryffindor’s.
Hermione and Draco walked to the headmasters office to get him to change their appearances and conceal their rings. They knocked on the headmasters door and waited for an answer before they could walk in.
“enter” they heard and walked in.
Albus sat in his chair behind his desk and pointed to them to sit down.
“I thought about what kind of charm I should put on you and your rings. And I came to a conclusion that I will put a charm on it that it will hide the ring from everybody, except those who know it is there. And to your appearance I will charm it that way that only you will see each other as you truly are, but everyone else will see you as the opposite of what you look like, so you can hold hands and kiss in public, but nobody will know it is the two of you there.” Albus said to the two teenagers.
Big smiles covered their faces and joy shined out of their eyes, and the twinkle in the headmasters eyes shone brighter as he charmed their rings, and changed their appearances.
“just remember” Albus said “the charm will fade away as soon as you get to your rooms, and so that no one will see you go there I opened the floo connection in your common rooms so you just have to go to the three broomsticks and get Tom to let you use the floo connections there.”
“ok. But when do we need to get back here?” Draco asked
“just come back before classes on Monday, and if anyone asks you two were sick all weekend with high fever and couldn’t get out of bed. Snape will cover for you and tell anyone if anyone ask that he checked up on you and gave you potions.” Albus said with the twinkle sparkling wild like every time he was planning something.
With shocked expression on their faces they thanked the headmaster and walked out of his office and out of the school, and as they walked to Hogsmead they just hold hands and talked about what they should do first now that they had the whole weekend to them selfs.
“I think that we should go to a fancy restaurant tonight, but how does ice cream sound for now” Draco said.
“I’d love to have ice cream.” Hermione said “how about chocolate ice cream?”
“sounds good to me” Draco said.
They got their ice cream and sat down on a bench to enjoy it, feeding each other the ice cream and laughing and talking
“this kind of reminds me of Paris” Hermione said “ when we didn’t have to worry about everyone else who might see us together”
“ I know” Draco said “it’s wonderful don’t you think?”
“yes, absolutely wonderful” Hermione responded
They got up and walked together hand in hand, and looked into shop windows and went into occasional shops because Draco wanted to buy clothes for his wife. Then they went to check into a hotel, and of course Draco had to get the most expensive bridal suite but this time Hermione didn’t care, because this was their wedding day and they wanted to make it a special weekend for them. It was dinnertime when they finally stopped walking and decided to go to the restaurant that Draco had wanted to go to. They sat there for two hours and talked about everything and nothing, but when Hermione started yawning they decided to call it a night and go to the bridal suite.

a/n sorry for the cliffhanger but the hot stuff comes in next chapter… ill try to update as soon as I can. But as I am on my Easter holiday in Siglufjörður on Iceland there is only one place in this little town where I can go on the internet and its in a little café, and I don’t always have the opportunity to go there… anyhow I hope you like this chapter…
