I'm Not That ... Boy [Draco's turn]
On Monday afternoon, during his free period, Draco wandered down the grounds of Hogwarts. Which was how he discovered Cedric and Harry, chatting cozily beneath a tree.
Beside the first, shocked, bolt of pain he felt strike his heart, Draco realized he simply didn’t care. Between schoolwork and the instructions being given him by his Dark Lord, he simply didn’t have the energy to be jealous. Or, for that matter, hurt.
“Don’t wish...don’t start...” He found himself singing in a near whisper. “Whishing only wounds the heart. There’s a boy I know, he loves him so, I’m not...that guy.”
Draco closed his eyes briefly and did wish. He wished them the best of luck, they were going to need it. Events were now in motion that the likes of one tiny fourteen year-old were unable to reverse. No matter how much he wanted to.
