A Date With Draco Malfoy Part 2

Harry’s mind reeled as he watch the face of his blond companion above him, the ink sky behind him making the said blond hair shine ethereally so. For a moment the Angel was quite stunned; he tried to pat down the growing displeasure of not actually getting a kiss while he scowled at himself for actually wanting one.

Draco, from above him, smirked waiting for his response and Harry almost thought that the Demon could read his thoughts and was laughing knowingly at him. Oh dear.

Harry sat up, causing for Draco to move back and watched the other rub his head with is hand as he breathed in the night air. “We are not allowed.” Harry whined, his voice a low timbre that Draco had never quite heard before from the other but its effects were pleasant on his sudden goose bumped skin. He shifted closer, “Of course we aren’t!” Draco said, “But we ‘can’, it makes all the difference.” Harry rolled his eyes at the light tone of the other. “Well, ‘I’m’ not allowed to fly—and I think I did my fair sharing of breaking rules tonight. I’m not about to break another one. Dumbledore specifically told me not to use my wings unless in some sort of emergency.” And Draco stood up, just like that, not even bothering to respond as he took his wand and waved it confidently at the Quidditch shed not too far away.

“And thanks to my brilliancy, we won’t have any of that tonight.” Then as he paused wand still in the air, he turned to give Harry a somewhat searing look over his shoulder. Harry quickly stood up feeling rather vulnerable. “Don’t get me wrong. I’d love to see your wings again, one day, Harry. They were very beautiful then I am sure they would be no difference now.” He purred and Harry’s cheeks flamed once more.

“Accio brooms!” Like Draco commanded, two brooms flied their way from the Quidditch shed to the boys’ feet. Harry a bit stunned, watched at the somewhat old looking brooms with mistrust. “They fly?” The Demon laughed at him and pocketed his wand. “I know, these ones have seen their better days but I don’t doubt they aren’t efficient. Come on Harry, let’s fly.” Harry chewed on his bottom lip. “I don’t know…” Draco rolled his eyes, “It’s not breaking the rules!” he insisted, “At list, you are still keeping your word with Dumbledore aren’t you?” “Yes, but not that I, I just don’t know how to ‘fly’ on these,” he pointed, “These brooms. I’ve never needed one before.”

Draco hid a smirk and helped himself on his broom, steadily between his legs. “I’ll show you.” Harry gave one look at him and laughed, “Right.” He crossed his arms, “I’m not coming near you on a flying broom.” “Harry why, I’m shocked. Do you honestly think I’d let you fall?” The Angel stared at how Draco was straddling the broom so confidently between his thighs and breathed out, quickly looking away. “No—” he begun to say but then Draco was suddenly floating up and flying around next to him. His silver eyes were twinkling and in the night, those stood out magnificently. “Do you trust me?” And Harry felt something grow tight and heavy at his throat because no he didn’t trust the blond. But as he looked up at Draco’s face, so open with honesty, Harry terribly wanted to. Draco then reached with a hand towards Harry.

Wordlessly, Harry reached Draco’s hand with his own and with no show of effort; the blond lifted Harry on the broom. First Harry landed sitting with both legs on one side and the broom wobbled dangerously under the new weight. However after Harry had adjusted mirroring Draco’s position on the broom he leant back on Draco’s chest and tightened his grip on it. Draco repositioned his arms further up on the broom’s length so to give Harry’s hands space. This ended with Draco’s bigger form engulfing Harry in what felt like a very protective embrace. It was then that the Angel knew Draco wasn’t going to let him fall.

“I’ve got you.” Was the whisper that brushed his ear as Draco positioned his chin on Harry’s shoulder. The Demon smiled as he felt Harry relax and without warning, he shot up at full speed for the skies.

What remained on the ground was the sudden delighted scream from Harry’s lips.

***

“That was amazing!” Draco was all grins as he lowered the broom back on the ground. He was happily listening to Harry’s elated squeals. “I missed flying so much, I hadn’t even realized! That was just so amazing, it was fantastic I…I.” Draco laughed and he zigzagged lazily a couple of feet from the ground not wanting to give up Harry’s warm presence just yet. He had rested the side of his face on the Angel’s back, closing his eyes as the vibrations of his voice lulled him.

“Every second of it, completely loved it!” Harry was saying, forgetting that he was half surrounded by the supposedly dangerous Demon he was having trust issues with and comfortably resting within his arms. “We have to do it again, I really want to try and fly myself next time. You got some cool moves Draco;” he said as he tapped mindlessly on Draco’s arm with the back of his hand in his speech, “I really want to try them. I can’t believe an old broom can do all that!” Draco laughed quietly at Harry’s childlike glee, it was endearing and curses all, Draco liked it.

At the laughter, Harry stopped talking. He grinned a bit embarrassedly realizing that he had been babbling along. He was still freshly buzzing from the flight and his whole body felt wind-blown. “There will be a next time for sure.” Draco promised and he was positive that Harry was glowing. Finally, Draco landed them gently on the ground and he let the broom fall from between their legs. Harry stepped away and looked at Draco with that brilliant smile that made Draco want to do this for Harry and more—just to see him smiling like that at him. He never smiled quite that way, Draco noticed, not at him if anything. With a bit of hesitation, due to Harry distracting him, Draco sent the brooms back to their place.

“How did you know about brooms anyways?” Harry asked as they begun walking towards Hogwarts once again. “When I came here, before you did, I did a bit of an exploring around…I asked Severus of course; he wasn’t very keen on them thought.” Harry laughed, “Does he even exit his office that one?” Draco grinned, surprised at the mischievous light in Harry’s eyes and linked Harry’s arm with his. Draco looked away in a silent victory when Harry didn’t complain.

When he looked down at Harry, the Angel was smiling softly as he looked at the castle and Draco found himself attracted immensely to the fire that was Harry, which lit him up so brilliantly. Draco’s arm tightened around Harry’s and the other walked closer to him with again, no complaint. Then almost instinctively, Harry’s hand lifted so he was clasping Draco’ forearm. These brought them much closer and Draco felt the brush of Harry’s soft hair on his neck. He smiled, couldn’t help himself as then the scent that was unquestionably Harry calmed him further.

Draco blinked and looked down at the Angel again. He always felt calmer almost more rational—which was saying something—when Harry was next to him. For a moment, the Demon thought about that night up at the balcony. The first time Harry had willingly allowed to be held in the Demon’s arms. The first night he had willingly kissed Draco back. Draco swallowed, tarring his eyes away from the Angel’s lips. What was that…feeling of peace?

They were walking inside of Hogwarts before Draco knew it and the silence that had fallen between them was one of such companionship that again, pleased the blond to no end. As he stole looks at Harry, his own lips curling as he watched the serene face of the Angel; he couldn’t help but feel amazingly happy.

“You are never going to tell me, are you?” He spoke softly, not wanting to break whatever they had and smiled as Harry looked up, dark brow cocking. “What are you talking about?” “The switch thing you said earlier.” Emerald eyes blinked at him before the Angel turned away, cheeks red. Draco smirked; he just loved making Harry blush like that.

“I think these Hogwarts corridors just get longer and longer each time.” Harry said, trying to skip the question. “Oh really? I reckon they are all way too short.” Draco halted and Harry noticed the fairy painting, having one of those déjà moments as he looked back up at Draco’s face. Very diplomatically, which Harry was not, the Angel took his arm back from the blonds’ but commended himself to have not blushed this time. “Well,” Harry said voice croaky. “I guess I’ll have to wake her up now.” Draco smirked, stepped a bit back but crossed his arms without saying anything.

“Wake up little fairy.” Harry looked up at the painting, the little fairy resting on a flower sleeping peacefully. The Angel stroke the painting and the little figure shook her head and woke up. Seeing Harry she smiled brilliantly and her little wings carried her upfront. “Password?” “Cove.” The painting revealed the entrance of Harry’s room smoothly. As Harry stepped in Draco chuckled, “My, my,” he mused with a faint arrogance, “That was easy. My own painting would have thrown a fit—in fact; I’m up for one very soon.” Harry turned back with a grin. “If you were just more gentle with others you might get the same gestures back, you know?”

For a moment Draco remained quiet, eyes caught in Harry’s. “I know.” He said then, giving Harry an approving look. Harry looked down, smiling, and placed a hand on the side of entrance for support. “I’ll let you go then.” Draco half bowed, taking Harry’s position safely behind the barrier as indication enough that he didn’t wish for a goodnight kiss. “I really had a nice time tonight well…It was, interesting.” And Draco wanted very much to kiss that furiously blushing face as both recalled the restaurant scene in their heads.

“Yes.” Draco murmured, “If flying makes you glow more than me actually kissing you will ever do then, I know which we’ll be doing more of.” “Oh shut up.” Harry said completely mortified and Draco laughed quietly. “That’s a big word for an Angel.” He said but gave a grin when he noticed the Angel’s mocking high nose as he said, “I know plenty of big words, thank-you very much.” “Goodnight then.” Draco said finally after more glances between the two. The Demon stepped away quickly, worried that if he stayed longer he’d soon enough plead for a simple kiss on the cheek.

“Draco!” Harry’s voice echoed in the deathly quiet corridor and they both cringed, realizing that they had been speaking in hush voices just seconds before. Draco turned to see that Harry had stepped out of barrier stuck in the motion of walking towards him. “What is it?” He watched Harry biting his lip. “You have the unexplainable power of turning me off and turning me on…that’s why you’re like a switch.” Draco’s face was unreadable as he stepped closer. “You are saying that I turn you on?” And the smirk, positively suggestive and sexy made Harry’s face meet his palm. “Argh, I didn’t meant it to come out like that…” he scolded himself and Draco sniggered, “It’s very flattering, Harry.” He assured.

“No, it’s like…You can make me smile just as you can make me frown, like,” Harry looked away searching for words. “And the way you change, the way you switch. One moment you are charming the next you’re a horribly conceited git.” “Ouch?” “You’re exciting and you are…scary, I don’t know you are so visible but so unknown. And you’ve reached to me in ways that I’ve…I guess it’s the bond…But I…I’ve never felt the things you have made me feel—for anyone.” When Harry looked up at him dead-on, Draco’s teasing smirk vanished.

“I’ve never felt the amount of emotions, like…rage or even…p-passion so strongly before. I haven’t —not anyone for me even.” He mumbled. “I don’t think—I’ve never explored this part of me before. The one that wants to crawl out of its quiet shell, you know? The way you make me respond to you…Things you bring out of me…I honestly, I, I’ve never been so outspoken with someone before. I’ve never f-felt…” Harry looked away, exhaling. “I’ve never felt desired in my life, not like the way you…” The Angel dared a peek at Draco and once again that unreadable look was on his face. Cheeks heating, Harry went on, looking away.

“The way you well, the way you…Yeah.” He trailed off again not sure he could ever complete that sentence. “And sure as anything I’ve never been kissed before.” The soft confession was met by an answering silence and Harry couldn’t find it in himself to look up again. Then someone was panting and Harry knew without looking that it was Draco.

“Sometimes you make me feel like I’m…wanted.” He whispered, “In, in a way that, that I well, I don’t mean for tea or for checking out some essay papers or anything like that.” Harry’s face went even redder. “But…yearned for.” He admitted. “It’s a level of intimacy that I’m completely pants at if you haven’t noticed.” And Harry laughed embarrassedly at this, stealing a look at Draco as he rubbed at his neck.

“And sometimes, like tonight, like now---I feel like I’m getting to know you even more. And, I want to know more. I, I guess it isn’t much but, sometimes I think I really might like you—no wait.” Harry held his hands up preventing Draco to take that step forward.

“But sometimes I don’t get you at all. You are cold and you are harsh and you are just so completely different to the person you are now, in front of me. And you aren’t fair, you know that? You monopolize me in this ‘relationship’ using our situation as reason to grab me back and forth---that really bothers me. And then you go off been jealous or possessive—I mean that waitress,” Draco grunted. “---she was just talking to me and you were ready to chew her up or something. And the kissing and touching, sometimes you’re so demanding with them its…It’s like I can’t breathe, and then in the end its like I don’t even I know what I want because…”

“Because?” Draco’s voice was calm and Harry looked away before meeting Draco’s gaze once more. “Because sometimes…Sometimes I want it too.” The heat between then flared suddenly. Draco’s face broke into a relieved smile, “There is nothing wrong with that Harry,” “But it is!” he said, “It’s wrong, I mean, I don’t even know who you are Draco. I told you, you are like a switch and…I can’t figure you out sometimes and I feel so stupid because you always seem to be two steps ahead of me—” Harry stopped when Draco laughed. “You think I don’t have troubles with you?” Harry’s mouth closed.

“Harry, I’ve tried to change who I am just to be with you and have you smiling instead of frowning. In what, a week? And trust me it isn’t working too well because let’s face it, how many times have I just blown it?” Draco sighed. “I want for this to work, I want for ‘us’ to work, Harry. I’m trying really, I am, and it’s difficult. You are just as much of a mystery. I’ve never dealt with a person as pure as you and to be brutally honest, I’ve never had to court my partners for…Let’s just say, it was always very easy for me, alright?” Harry nodded weakly, not sure he could meet Draco’s eyes now that he learnt that the blond had had other…partners.

“The day you came here I was inane with want. I wanted you and I still do but then, it was…I was very uncontrolled, I let my feelings stray, I didn’t care, I didn’t know to care if that makes sense. All I wanted was for a quick solution to feel…good, again. I was hurting. I had actually, come in my heat once you matured Harry, and ever since it hasn’t been that nice for me, let’s just say it like that. Of course I’m under a potion now that helps me to deal with it…”

“You mean, you wanted to ‘mate’ with me?” Draco hadn’t expected for Harry’s small voice to butt in but smiled at the bravery. “Of course. Harry haven’t you ever looked at yourself? You are gorgeous, you are so beautiful.” And Harry stepped away from him, timidly and Draco was quick to follow him. “No don’t shy away, please—” Draco took the Angel’s hands in his and Harry gasped. “I know you don’t like it when I grab you and stuff, but please listen.” Harry was surprised to have the blond plead with him so he nodded his hands still in Draco’s.

“I won’t lie. All I wanted was for a physical connection with you Harry. I just wanted to mate with you, have you, get it over and done with pretty much---but that’s all changed. You bring out the better side of me. Talking about switches, well, you are also one of mine. You push me to be better and yes, sometimes you push me to my worst too because you are so dam infuriating and stubborn.” He said this kindly not wanting to upset the Angel.

“Just as you make me try my hardest just to see you look at me the way you looked tonight, when we were flying, when we were on the grass rolling. I’ve come to understand that so many little things matter to me. Things I’d never look twice on. Little things about you that make me happy like…Us walking arm in arm, or you when you rested against me when we were flying, when you trusted yourself with me—well I guess that’s a big thing.” He quickly corrected himself, “But even when you smile at me Harry, the sound of your laughter does things to me…”

“Please don’t say anything more.”

“What? Why?” Draco fell on his knees trying to catch Harry’s eyes. The dark haired boy had lowered his face, it had almost darkened, and Draco squeezed his hands around Harry’s in a silent question. “Please, stand up.” He said, and Draco did, not sure what to say as one of Harry’s hand freed itself to curl at the back of the blonds’ neck.

“I’m glad we had this conversation and despite it been in a corridor, it’s important. And I’m glad we got some things out but…” And Draco understood; felt the faint shakes of Harry’s stature as the boy met his gaze again. The pools of emeralds were molten and new knowledge laid in them that gave Harry a level of maturity that Draco found breathtaking.

Taking the shorter boy in his arms, Draco glorified in the fact that Harry curled his other hand around his shoulder as their chest met. Draco could feel soft fingers playing with his hair at the back of his neck and he smiled down at Harry as he cupped the boy’s cheek and lifted it towards his descending mouth.

Neither of the two had ever referred to the other as their mate. Or if they had, they never had come to think what it really meant for the both of them. But right at that moment, Draco knew that his mate needed reassurance and Harry knew that he needed for his sudden jealousy to be hushed down by Draco’s kiss.

It was a long press of lips on lips but not less fabulous than any other kisses they had ever shared. It was of acceptance and of terms, it was of forgiveness and it was of a new start. And suddenly, the two understood each other like they had never before. They parted, breathless, and both looked at the other searchingly. Almost asking if it was really true, if they had maybe, done that extra step forwards—if they had done something right.

When Harry smiled, Draco had no doubts at all.

“I really should let you go now.” He said quietly, but he didn’t move. Harry felt as if he was vibrating with energy, Draco’s eyes were lit silver and the Angel rested his head on his chest because his own was spinning. “Tomorrow we have classes.” Agreed Draco, who made himself just more comfortable around Harry, arms holding him safely. “Perhaps we can remain like this just for a little longer.” Draco smiled because by the time Harry had said that, he had been more or less ready to close his eyes. “A little longer, then I’m going.” In response, Harry held Draco even closer scared he’d go at any moment and butted his face against the strong chest repeatedly.

“Ok.”

***

“Well ‘someone’ looks happy this morning!”

“Sirius, don’t make him blush so heavily in the morning. He still has the whole day to face.” Harry snorted, “Jee, thanks Remus.” The Werewolf smirked as he happily flanked a paw/hand around his mate’s shoulders and brought him closer.

Harry sat next to them at the teachers table. He had come in practically lustrous and Sirius who was at early stages of a pregnancy couldn’t really understand his Godson’s happy mood at such time in the early morning. He sighed in his mate’s arm but smiled up at the younger Angel. “So where did you head off to last night, eh?” Harry faltered on his toast, “What?” Remus nudged Sirius softly and spoke in, “It’s more like, with ‘who’ did you head off to last night but we both know the answer to that don’t we, Sirius?” “You shouldn’t be making it easier for him, Remus!” Sirius accused playfully, “The point is that he snacked off and he didn’t tell anyone.” Remus sighed, “Well, since he is my Godson-in-law, I have every right help him out a bit—lay off.”

Harry hid behind his coffee cup, blushing, as the two bantered to each other. However, he smiled as he caught the familiar shine of blond enter the hall.

“But look Harry, I’d just really appreciate you’d tell Remus or myself of your nightly…Occasions. Heck, even Albus if you must. But please tell someone…” Sirius trailed off and Remus whistled suggestively as they watched Harry emerge from the coffee cup completely caught with Draco Malfoy, as the boy made his way towards their table. The Demon gave a small curl of his lips towards Harry, an enigmatic air about him as he advanced. Harry looked at Sirius and Remus almost in panic when a hand settled on his shoulder and Draco leant to place a kiss on his cheek.

“Good morning, Harry.” He purred and Harry mumbled something back, eyes dropping from the stunned looks of his Godfathers. Draco took that as a positive response and lifted his gaze to the other two. He gave a nod in respect and walked towards the other end of the table were Severus Snape was having a fight with the butter.

“I really wish he didn’t have to do that in front of everyone.” Harry said trough tight lips, face completely red.

“Oh my God, did you see what that Demon did to my Godson?” Remus brow twitched, “Made him go red? It’s very easy thought, but I have to admit that the Malfoy kid as a mighty fashion of—” “Of course not! He completely mortified him that’s what he did!” Sirius was agitated, “He embarrassed Harry, and can’t you see?” “No Sirius—Remus, look—I’m fine.” Harry breathed resting his head on his hand. “He was teasing me I just, I know what he was doing, it’s alright.”

Sirius looked at him carefully for a long time. “You slept with him.” “Sirius are you kidding me? You’ll give him an epileptic shock!” While Harry spluttered at the same time, “I did not!” “You’ll have to excuse Sirius, Harry.” Remus said gently, “You see his pregnant.” “Don’t give me that, Remus.” Sirius warned and this time Remus stepped back. “Harry,” the older Angel said, “Have you or have you not slept with him?” “I didn’t.” Harry replied, eyes wide in shock, “How could…How could…”

“You seemed a bit peculiar to receiving the news that Remus and I are expecting, so later on I came to visit you and you were gone.” Harry shifted on his sit, “I’m sorry to have not said anything,” he said, “but nothing happened. Honest. We just went to Hogsmead for dinner and we went for a fly…”

“WHAT!?”

The hall went dead quite before it resumed with its normal buzz. Harry pleaded for the ground to swallow him up but it never happened.

“Sirius.” Remus scowled his mate and he gave apologetic smiles to the professors present at the table. Harry’s voice made itself smaller and smaller. “Nothing happened! It was actually very nice…we talked.” He added hopeful to make his Godfather understand. “We took the time to settle some things down.” But Sirius was smirking. “Gosh, Harry---you bent Dumbledore’s rules, I’m proud.” Harry looked up confused, “I’m not in trouble?” Even Remus was looking strangely down at his mate.

“And I didn’t break any rule…Draco sort of tricked me into it.” Sirius laughed softly. “No Harry, not angry with you but with your mate? Possibly.” Harry felt a bit weird to have Sirius call Draco his mate but didn’t show it. “So that’s why you were so happy this morning.” Harry smiled weakly, “Oh I still am Remus.”

Sirius looked giddy after a moment, “I want details.” Harry blanched.

By the time of the second period ended, Harry had found that the steady gossip of ‘there is something between Mr. Potter and Mr. Malfoy’ was spreading full on.

The girly giggling had increased and the heavy stares became blunter as students cooked up explanations and reasons to that kiss on the cheek. After all, it was known to most that Mr. Potter and Malfoy in fact, didn’t get along.

Thankful to be dealing with the year 7th now, who appeared to be more discreet in their own musings, Harry walked around desks checking if anyone needed help as Minerva sat at her desk grading papers. The magical buzz went off signalizing the end of third period and the class rose.

“Homework is on the board. Do not forget!” The class answered with a grunt and Minerva gave everybody a severe stare before heading back to her work.

Then Justin McCray, the boy with the wavy hair and brown eyes walked towards Harry and smiled.

“What can I help you with?”

“I’m sorry Professor; I just can’t seem to understand something....” Harry bit on the inside of his cheek. “I’m not a professor,” he corrected once more, “What is it you don’t understand?” “Oh well, nothing with the subject, sir, you’ve explained it beautifully. I was just wondering how a person as intelligent and as young as you is already working at Hogwarts---but of course, why would I even question that?” This time, Harry couldn’t help but blush. “You honestly think I’m doing a good job at this?” Justin gave an enthusiastic smile and the class quickly emptied itself.

Nodding towards the door, Justin lowered his voice as Harry walked with him. “Ever since you came along I just don’t take good grades because I have too…But because I want too.” The door closed behind them and Harry leant on it flattered at what Justin said. “You see, I believe a teacher can be good and teach what they teach well. But it takes a great teacher to teach what they teach well and make the student love it.”

“That is very wise of you, Mr. McCray.” “Oh please call me Justin,” the boy said hopefully, he smiled at Harry, “At list when we are not in class you know, you don’t have to be so formal.” Harry smiled back, taken aback by his friendliness and shrugged, “Well you can call me Harry too then, you’re practically my age anyways…” Justin lit up. “Sure, Harry.”

Justin remained just looking at Harry, still smiling widely at him and the Angel begun to find it a bit creepy. “Justin?” “Oh yes,” he said at once, as if remembering himself, “I just, I got to go I guess.” Harry chuckled. “Well, take care.” “I will.” And Justin scurried away. Amused, the Angel shook his head and entered the classroom.

“Well, seems like you have another admire there.” Harry laughed at Minerva’s comment, but she didn’t look up from her work. “The students here at Hogwarts have shown a really positive exposure to you. You are quite the revelation I tell you.” It was then that the witch looked up a fond look on her face as her lined features softened in a smile at Harry. The Angel, proud to have Minerva’s approval, nodded his head in thanks as he settled at his work station. “It’s nice to help.” He muttered.

***

“Mr. Potter, Mr. Potter!” Harry turned around to see Amie, the little Gryffindor girl with the big blue eyes run up at him. The familiar white kitten was in her hands as she caught up to the Angel. Harry knelt down and smiled welcomingly and the girl blushed as she looked down at the kitten and then raised it up in front of Harry.

“I’ve name him Pebbles, sir.” She said, “I was hopping you’d approve of the name.” “It’s a very nice name.” he assured gently, petting the kitten that purred at his touch. “I can see why you chose it.” The little girl’s eyes went huge. “You can?” Harry smiled, “Well he is small and pure white. Some pebbles are like that.”

Harry had been on his way to the library, doing some research for Minerva and wondering about Draco all the while, when Amie ran to him in the corridor. “Aren’t you supposed to be in a class, missy?” Amie looked down, “Professor Snape scares me.” She whispered, “And he doesn’t like Pebbles.” She once again lifted the kitten to Harry’s face that mewled loudly. “He sent me out because Pebbles isn’t allowed in the classroom. He said,” her voice went wobbly, “That the only time a cat would be allowed in the potions’ room was when it was needed in the cauldron.” Harry gasped, “That’s horrible!”

“Everyone laughed at me, sir, I don’t want to go back there…And I don’t want to leave Pebbles…” Harry sighed softly and placed a calming hand on the girl’s shoulder. “I’ll tell you what, I’ll watch Pebbles for you and you can come collect him at the end of the day, ok? Then tomorrow we can arrange some sort of other arrangement. I’ll walk you back to class; I’ll talk to Professor Snape.” Amie smiled hopefully, “Thank-you professor!” At this stage, Harry gave up correcting the students and accepted the thanks.

***

As they arrived in front of the potions classroom Amie went rigid. “It will be fine.” He assured confidently and the girl kissed a dozing Pebbles goodbye as she then gave him to Harry. The Angel held the kitten close to his chest, and smiled when it closed his eyes. “Ready? Remember, chin up.” He chided, and Amie nodded giggling a bit when Harry tapped her nose.

When Harry knocked on the door he didn’t wait for a ‘come in’, he opened the door and was surprised when faces of students turned to see who it was. Amie made her way in, hesitated just a bit before smiling at her friends and hurrying to sit down with them. “Good evening class.” Harry said, acknowledging some of the smiling faces of the first years who knew him. A chorused “Hello Mr. Potter” followed, but then the class went back to work.

“Mr. Potter, what lovely surprise.” When Harry looked up and saw Draco approach him he bit down a smile as the blond smirked.

Ever since the morning, the two hadn’t seeing the other due to hectic schedules. Now finally face to face, Harry smiled abashed with the pleasant feelings of the last night. He shouldn’t be acting like a student with a crush in front of other students really…

“It’s nice to see you Harry,” Draco’s murmur was low so only for Harry to hear. The blond stepped in front of him, covering the rest of the class out of Harry’s view and vice versa. “Yeah,” Harry breathed and noticed Draco’s eyes on Pebbles. “Oh about that, Amie told me what happened and well, I had to do something.” Draco sniggered, “Oh I most definitely wouldn’t put it beneath you.” He assured. “Where’s Snape anyways?” “He left me in charge. Had to attend a private owl or something like that.” “Could you talk to him? He isn’t exactly the nicest person to talk too and I’m not exactly one of his favorite so I was wondering, you could talk to him in being more reasonable with the children? Honestly, saying that Pebbles would be good only in a cauldron that is taking it too far.” Draco shook his head in amusement. “Alright, I’ll talk to him.”

“So are you keeping him?” Harry looked down at Pebbles, “For the day, he will be a good companion.” Draco looked up longingly and Harry felt himself blushing. “Don’t even say it.” Pleaded Harry and Draco looked every bit the smug git that he was. “Won’t say what?” Harry gnawed at his bottom lip giving the blond a pained glare. “Oh Potter, you hurt me.” The Demon moaned agonizingly. “Drama queen.” Draco just winked at him.

“Well, off you go Mr. Potter. Let me show you the door…” Draco said loudly. Before Harry could complain, he was ushered out of the door cradling the sleeping kitten to his chest with both hands with Draco right behind him. “I wanted to do this since this morning.” The blond breathed and once the door closed behind them, Draco reached out for Harry’s cheeks and sweetly kissed the Angel.

Harry’s eyes closed as his heart picked up and he felt his cheeks flare underneath Draco’s gentle touch. The Demon parted his lips seeking Harry’s tongue and went on to kiss Harry slow and sweet, welcoming the response of Harry kissing back. As things begun to be more heated and Draco pushed himself closer to Harry’s body, a sudden mewl interrupted them. Their lips smacked softly when Harry backed out and looked down at the now groggy awaken kitten.

“Oh hello you…” Harry was cooing, glad for the interruption as he willed his body to calm down. He didn’t see it, but he was sure Draco was rolling his eyes. “I’m starting to think Severus was right, kittens do belong only in cauldrons.” And Harry playfully slapped at Draco’s arm, who quickly took Harry’s hand and kissed the back of. Harry smiled; Draco was quite charming when he wanted to be.

“I’ll see you later.” Harry nodded. “I’ll find you.” The Demon promised and with a last wink he re-entered the classroom. From there Harry tried his hardest to not skip up and down the corridor as he headed towards the library once more, with Pebbles in his arms, as he smiled rather goofily, all about.

“Sirius, I’m trying to do some work here.” Harry tried not to laugh as his Godfather mocked him. Remus was busy playing with Pebbles on the table. They were currently in the library and Harry had taken a hidden spot to do some of that transfiguration research when Sirius and Remus came.

“Why you think I’m playing games, Harry? I’m trying to know what happened when my Godson when on a date with Draco Malfoy—that is a top job that is included when you are a Godfather.” To that, Harry thought back at Ron’s and Hermione’s baby, nostalgic waves hitting him softly and he relented. “Alright, what do you want to know?”

From the table, Remus winced as Pebbles suddenly caught his fingers with his teeth. Harry supposed that the kitten could sense Remus alter ego and that why he seemed a bit more pesky with him. Harry sat down heavily, Sirius following and he looked amusedly at Remus. “You ok?” “Sure.” He said as he wiggled his finger around. Sirius shook his head, attention back to Harry. “I want to know everything of course!”

“Well, it started with rough edges I guess…He asked me out to dinner and we went to this really nice place, he made me pay the water though because…” He told the little scenario of Draco being jealous and Remus sniggered. “Doesn’t sound too different from where I’m standing.” Sirius caught his meaningful look. “It’s true; it’s how dominant mates show their statues sometimes. It’s almost like they have prove it to their mates or something, Remus has that too.” He waved it away and lowered his voice so only Harry could hear. “But I quite like it. Definitely puts an extra edge with all that make up sex.”

Safe to say that it took quite another hour to take anything out of a spluttering, blushing mortified Harry.
