The Ruby Ruse Chapter 9
The sun shone through the window, warming the pale skin of the blond. He laid there letting it warm him as another heat warmed his back. He sighed in contentment, thinking over the last days and weeks with Harry.
He began dreading tonight. After tonight, the reason he and Harry even met again would be exposed. He would not even admit it to himself but he was scared this may only be an interlude for the seeker. He also vowed to himself to accept it, appreciate what he had been given and somehow go on with his life when Harry walked away.
Harry’s arms tightened around the blond and he kissed a shoulder.
“Draco, you are thinking too hard. It’s a glorious morning, we have things to plan and set up at my home. What’s bothering you my lover?”
Draco sighed. “It’s nice to be called lover by you. I was trying to figure out why we wasted all the time at school and since then until now.”
Harry kissed that shoulder again.
“That one is easy enough to answer. We weren’t ready and the time wasn’t right. We’ve finally come together; everything is as it should be with us. Now, enough thinking. I want you to roll over, kiss me, then love me long and hard to make sure both of us are relaxed. After that, we have to get home.”
The blond wasted no time. He quickly turned over in the brunet’s arms. Moving a hand up and down Harry’s arm, he brought their lips together, each seeking more and mapping the other’ body. The lovers lived true to the title of lover as they satisfied each other.
Draco pulled the brunet over on his chest. He laughed quietly as the glassy-eyed Gryffindor tried to speak but could only open and close his mouth. Draco felt satisfied that he’d fulfilled Harry’s request of being loved long and hard. He kissed his lover and settled in, holding him closer, letting the lassitude take over.
By noon they were up again, bathed and having a lavish lunch. Harry made sure their belongings were all together, shrunk them and side-apparated them to his house. They were greeted by the house-elf who took their bags to their room and came back to show ‘Mister Harry’ what they had set up. The formal dining room was prepared; the big screen display was neatly disguised in the dining room as one of the giant artworks. The control for it was already in Harry’s possession. It wasn’t a muggle television but a series of wizarding pictures that were shown at a high speed to make them look like a movie. The best part was it had the culprit in pictures, answering the door at Harry’s, accepting the merchandise and signing Harry’s name. It also showed him dropping a small bag of coins into the delivery person’s hands like it was a common transaction.
The next set of pictures show him trying to leave. As he grew frustrated, he took the contents from the bag and read the instructions all over again. He walked down the hall and disappeared into the bathroom. The look on his face was priceless – to see his hair in that condition was frustrating to him. He tried every spell he knew but it wouldn’t change. All the things he went through were captured in the pictures. The door finally opened and he wasted no time leaving, careful to avoid everyone. His hair was too noticeable.
Harry and Draco sighed in satisfaction and anticipation. Their guests would be arriving soon. They had enough time to get ready and just take time to talk before the show began. Tonight promised to be interesting. The two went upstairs; Harry wanted Draco with him as much as possible so he led him into the bathroom.
The Gryffindor filled the tub with soothing bath salts. He held the blond’s hand as he eased into the tub, beckoning Draco to join him. The former Slytherin stepped into it and eased himself to his knees. Harry moved to brace himself against the back of the tub as he whispered temptingly up to the blond.
“Come rest against me Draco.”
Draco turned and scooted back until he was resting on Harry’s chest. A pair of wet hands came around to lie on his chest before gliding up and down. The blond relaxed his head back onto Harry’s shoulder, letting an encouraging groan escape his lips.
“Can we stay like this for the night?”
Draco was finally relaxed and didn’t want to risk ruining this togetherness they were experiencing.
Harry just chuckled before latching onto the exposed pale neck in front of him. He made sure it was enough to leave an impression but not a mark. He wanted his lover to be pristine in front of the dinner guests. Harry let them lay there just letting the peace settle over them, soothing them, for neither knew what might happen at dinner and the unveiling.
The Gryffindor finally noticed their skin starting to shrivel in the water and hauled them both up. With a playful swat to the blond’s arse after he dried it, Harry pulled him into the bedroom where they took the rest of the time they had to explore each other and help each other dress.
