Chapter Nine: Let’s Get the Party Started

When Harry woke up a few days’ later Alex was sitting beside him on the bed holding him in his arms. He snuggled in further and waited for his love to wake up for him.

‘Harry you are awake, I am so happy. I thought you would never weak up for me. I am so sorry I was not there to help you. I promised you and I broke it.’

‘Never mind that Alex, you could not be there with me and I understand but you were there for me now and after I got back, that is what matters to me now. However, we need to speak to the rest of the group and get that map. I think I have a plan.’

After getting up and having a hot shower, which Harry felt he really needed they got dressed in a pair of black pants and Harry in a black long sleeve shirt with a navy t-shirt over top saying ‘Kiss my Ass Arcaico’. Harry looked to Alex to seem he had on a long sleeve beige shirt and they grabbed the others hand and walked out the door to a secluded spot to apparate to Couth’s place.

Sitting down in the living room with the rest, they waited for the boss to come in and sit down with them. When he did arrive, Harry began to explain his plan.

‘So since Dudley will be out, we can have him win a car or something and keep him occupied. All of us can get in; tell the guard we’re there to wait for Dudley. You guys can be in your forms on our shoulder.’ Harry said to Couth, Razorblade and Cooler.

‘I can be look out while the rest of you guys look for the map Harry you said you thought you saw it?’

‘Yeah when I was there last Dudley took me to his room for my… punishment and I saw it on his desk. I think he stuck it in his desk some where but I am not 100% positive since I was getting the shit beat out of me.’

Therefore, in an understanding they all got up and changed into more comfortable dark cloths. Apparating to the building they waited for James to give the signal on their watches saying he sent the invite to Dudley.

When they saw him lave around the back they headed to the front.

‘Password?’

‘Just shut up already, the party’s about to start and we will miss it.’

‘Enter.’

After getting past the guard, they headed down the hall to Dudley’s room. After a ways away the others hopped down from Harry and Alex’ shoulder and changed back from their mouse forms into human.

‘Let me know when some one is coming.’ Harry replied and took out his wand.

‘Alohamora.’ The door swung open and as they entered, he heard Alex mutter‘Hurry’ under his breath.

The room was just as it was left. The desk was still bathed in fire light and the four-poster dark ebony bed still had its sheets on it though of black Persian silk.

Harry went to the desk to search while Couth looked on the walls for secret holding cells. Cooler came up to him and began searching drawers while Razorblade looked under the mattress and bed.

After half an hour of searching Alex shot a patronus through the door. Harry started and looked out the door with a spell to see Alex change into a mouse.

‘He’s coming. Hide.’ Harry whispered.

Changing into mice, they hid under the bed or the desk. Harry searched franticly until he found a secret box in the bottom right drawer. Smiling he transferred a copy to his pocket and jumped as he heard the door begin to unlock.

Looking around frantically he hid by the bed covered in one of the curtains by the wall and his bedside table.

Not having a smaller form was finally a disadvantage to him. Having leant to be a cat, rottweiler and a leopard had come to a lot of use for him, but this was the one exception he prayed would never happen.

He clenched his eyes closed as Dudley came toward him.

‘Stupid people, don’t they know who I am? I could easily take away their job, ensure their children were sent to death row if I so pleased. Not have a Jaguar XK? I thought they were a car dealership. Imagine me having to settle for an inferior car such as a Volvo XC90. (AN I know nothing of cars. Let me know what car is the best most expensive and what is just under it so I can change this to make it better.)’

He sat down on the bed flopped back looking at the ceiling. Sighing to himself, he got up and headed to the bedside table. Looking to make sure his assistant was not there and was in her room as ordered when they got back he pulled out a bottle of almost empty Fire Whiskey.

Harry held his breath as Dudley almost bumped his arm into him settling the bottle on his table. Lying back for a rest he waited until he could hear the snores to get out from behind it and head to the door with the rest all already changed back.

Heading back out the way they came they apparated back to Couth’s house to look at the map.

‘Why didn’t you change into a mouse Harry? You could have been caught.’ Alex growled.

‘I couldn’t Alex.’ Harry replied just as mad.

‘Why not, your powerful enough to changed into what ever you want just like us.’ Alex sighed and held his anger in check.

‘Because Alex, you should know by now that I haven’t used my magic or my forms in a very long time. The drugs they gave me effect my magic, I can’t change… at all.’ Harry whispered quietly and left the house to be alone.

Alex stood there shocked for a moment.

‘Go after him pighead. You did this now your gonna fix it. We all know what muggle drugs do to your magic.’ Cooler said venomously.

Alex lowered his head before running out to catch up to his lover.

‘Harry! Harry, I’ sorry okay? I forgot about what it does to you.’

Harry stopped and sat down on a set of swings in a park.

‘How could you forget Alex? I can not transform, you knew about the drugs how could you forget that? Don’t you think if I could, I would have escaped using one of them a while ago? I could not because after I destroyed Voldemort I was already on them, slowly I noticed it got harder and hard to change. Until one day I couldn’t at all and that was when I first was forced to join my cousin’s gang.’

‘I am so sorry. Please forgive me?’

‘This once, but if you ever forget something like that again I will not let you fuck me for a very long time.’

Alex gulped and nodded as they headed back to begin the next part of their plan.
