Ginny
~~~~
I felt myself running, but I didn\'t know where...or from what. My feet pounded hard on the castle\'s stone floors. I realized I was running towards the dungeons, more specifically towards the potions\' rooms. The area was deserted, as everyone was in their respective common rooms or in the Great Hall, catching up with one another. Everyone else\'s lives had gone on, returned to normal, to the mundane. Mine however was one big, bloody mess.
My lungs started to ache, I was nearing exhaustion. The air was hot and sticky in the corridor, the heat was horrid despite the more \'underground\' location. I began to walk slowly, dragging my hand along the wall, which was thankfully cool to the touch.
I rounded a corner, not paying adequate attention, and ran straight into the last person on earth I wanted to see.
\"Ginny...fancy meeting you here.\" was Draco\'s blatantly beligerent response. My shoulder was slightly sore from the collision. He seemed fine.
I avoided meeting his eye.
\"In fact, I was just thinking about you the other day, reliving the goodtimes with my dear, old schoolmates. It was a pity we didn\'t get to spend more time together.\"
My skin was crawling with the double meaning of his words. I felt panicky and sick to my stomach.
He leered closer to me, hands slightly raised, he was going to try something.
\"Isn\'t it convinient that I\'ve run into you? Or perhaps more-so that the potions\' labs are empty for the evening, and likely the next few days...seems Snape has left to attend to some business is London.\"
Why on earth had Dumbledore allowed Draco to attend the reunion? I know there was no evidence tying him to my abduction…but I had told Dumbledore the events in their entirety. How could he? I felt betrayed.
I felt faint, dizzy. The panic had consumed me. I could feel my knees giving out. All the running prior had left little energy to fight Draco off now, there wasn\'t even the slight relief of a surge of adrenaline. Things just kept getting darker.
I couldn\'t even protest when I felt his arm grasp around my waist, pulling me towards him. In another situation, with a different person, the firmness of his hold would have been comforting. In this scenario, it only served as a reminder, my fate was sealed.
I broke into a continuous sob as I heard the door of the potions\' lab slam shut, and Draco utter locking and silencing charms. He carried me into one of the back storerooms, at least I assumed so, as my eyes were tightly shut. I feared I wouldn\'t be able to see even if I did open them now. I wanted to scream, kick, bite, anything...but my body just wouldn\'t cooperate.
\"Quite resigned, are we Ginny? That\'s a good girl.\"
The way the word good rolled off his tongue ran chills up my spine. The pure perversion of the statement. A flood of memories came back to me at this point.
