Chapter 6: It’s Cocktail-time Somewhere in This Universe
(This is a Repost) I just thought something should be added. Sorry for the fumble!
Ginny appears on the doorstep of a very deceptively quiet brownstone. Outside of the brownstone stands a lovely dark young lady. Ginny walks up to the lady and holds out her left wrist, which the lady takes in her hand and brings to her nose to sniff. The lady, a vampire, then opens the door for Ginny and with a smile bids her welcome, “Good evening, Miss Weasley.”
Once in the OUBLIETTE, Ginny pushes through the crowd to find her companions at their preferred table in the VIP area. On her to their table she runs into the vampire proprietors of the OUBLIETTE Malvenia Malfoy and Colin Weasley. She stops to speak to them for a moment or so and continues to toward her destination.
Narcissa and Andromeda are people watching from their perch. They have a bottle of Chopin vodka between them with a spell chilling it and magically chilled glasses in front of them. Both are elegantly attired. Andromeda is wearing a long light blue dress that comes past her knees with an asymmetrical hemline. She is wearing caramel colored leather knee length boots, too. Narcissa loves leather pants and she is wearing her favorite black ones with a dark purple halter-top and simple black heels. They don’t look like mothers tonight, much less the mothers of teenagers.
Ginny sits down with them and conjures up a glass for herself and then pours herself a shot of the vodka.
Narcissa inquires, “How is school?”
Ginny replies, “The same, talk of war, makeup and boys.”
Andromeda smirks and says, “Not much has changed in twenty years.”
Ginny snorts, “What did you expect enlightenment or something. Cissa, what is up with your son. He certainly is nosy.”
Narcissa laughs and explains, “I am afraid he gets that from both sides of the family both Lucius and I are very curious creatures.” She gives Ginny a wink then.
“UUUGGG! Did you just imply any sex regarding Draco and procreation? I mean come on now. I now you and Lucuis had to do it once, but….it makes baby Merlin cry, ” shudders Ginny,” I could have lived a long life with out that thought.”
Andromeda steps in trying not laugh at Ginny’s comment, “Frankly, I never figured out why Lucius joined in on Voldermort’s little band of merry morons. He was not the image he projects now when he was younger. He was more introspective.” She grabs the bottle of Chopin and pours herself another shot to sip.
Ginny giggles, “ You make him sound almost tolerable.”
“Well, he wasn’t like some. You know the type, the ones you have to gab before you have sex with them,” smirks Narcissa.
“Cissa, stop. You will corrupt the girl. She has enough help with that at school if I remember correctly,” says Andromeda in a conspiratorial tone.
Ginny sits back in her seat and breathes; “Could you tell me about Lily?”
Narcissa smiles and gets even more comfortable in her seat. She thinks for a moment and looks at Andromeda, who nods in confirming manner, and finally remarks, “Maybe, I should just show you.”
