I do not own Harry Potter, nor any of the characters from the books or movies. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Darkness
AN- this took all day to write, and I’m sorry that I won’t be able to reply personally to all of the reviews right now. My mind is shot and I’ve just barely got this out. It is very graphic and nasty, so I’ve warned you. I love all my reviewers and readers. Thank you for the feedback and I WILL answer the reviews next time, I PROMISE. I just want to get this out before I have to leave work. So please don’t be mad at me. I figured you would want the chapter up as soon as possible. So enjoy, and I’ll say again that it is very graphic. Voldemort is a big bad meanie. Not me.
The door behind Jessica slammed shut. Severus stalked in the staff room and sat roughly on a wooden chair. The other teachers looked up in surprise as they continued their conversation. Minerva was telling Jessica that she had done a good thing for the Order, and ignored the man as he sat huffing loudly in the chair next to her.
Severus looked at Jessica, his eyes narrowing as he saw that she had still not changed her clothes as he had requested.
“I believe I asked you to wear something more appropriate, Miss Lynch.” He said coldly, stressing her name.
“And I believe that I have enough mind to put on my body what I please, Professor Snape”
Albus’ eyes twinkled and he took a sip of tea, waiting for what happened next.
“Yes, but as my wife, I would prefer that you not walk around the castle half- naked.”
“HALF NAKED? You want to see half naked, then here!” Jessica pulled the white cotton shirt from her body, followed by her t- shirt and skirt. She stood there in a black bra and a jeweled thong.
Minerva gasped, nearly choking on her tea. Albus laughed merrily, ushering the other teachers from the room. He looked at Minerva and gave her a wink.
“I think they’ll be just fine together.”
“Oh, come off it Harry. Jessica’s not interested in you, she’s marrying Snape” Ron insisted as they strode across the grounds towards Hogsmeade. “Besides, she’s way older than you, by 10 years.”
“Yeah, well Snape’s older than her. Besides, she’s just marrying him for the Order anyways.” Harry pointed out.
“Honestly, Harry, Jessica sees you as a younger brother. Have you seen the way she looks at Professor Snape?” Hermione interjected.
Harry stopped walking and looked at Hermione.
“What do you mean?”
“She looks at him with love in her eyes. And he looks at her in the same way. I’m glad for him.”
Harry’s heart dropped. Did Jessica only think of him as a friend? She had kissed him, but the way a sister would kiss her brother. He mumbled something about going back for some Galleons and went back to the castle.
Ginny watched with narrowed eyes as Harry ran back up to the castle. He ran into her, knocking her over. Ginny fell backwards, her ankle hitting a stone.
“Sorry, Gin” Harry called over his shoulder. Ginny’s eyes filled with tears as she watched her ankle start to swell.
“Let me help you” a familiar voice drawled in her ears. She looked up to see Draco standing over her, flanked by Crabbe and Goyle. Ginny reached for her wand, but found it out of her reach.
“I’ll scream.” She said shakily, looking around to see if anyone else was in the courtyard, but no one was. Draco shrugged and knelt down in front of her. He touched her ankle and Ginny let out a strangled yelp.
“It’s sprained. Here, let me help you to the hospital wing.” Draco said. Ginny eyed him carefully.
“Oh, like Saint Potter will help you? Face it, Ginny, he’s thinking with little Harry now. You know there’s only enough blood in a boy’s body to run his brain or his , well you know.”
Ginny winced as Draco helped her up to a standing position. He noticed the silver pendant that hung around her neck. He had picked it out for her last week, along with a bottle of perfume that he noticed she wore right now. Ginny was halfway to the hospital wing when she realized that Draco had not called her Weasley. He had called her by her first name. Maybe he wasn’t as mean as everyone said, maybe he had a heart after all.
“Now that is more fitting of a Snape” Severus exclaimed as Jessica walked from the dressing room at Madame Malkins. She was wearing a deep red satin dress with bell sleeves and an empire waist. A lighter shade of red chiffon overlaid the satin waist and shimmered in the sunlight.
“And this is proper?” Jessica asked, peering into the mirror. Her breasts looked like they were going to pop out of the top any second. “If my tits were any closer to my face, I could rest my chin under them” She caught Severus smiling at this.
“Was that a smile, Sevvie? Wow, your face didn’t crack!”
“Yes, that is a proper dress, as you call it. Women cover their bodies, including their legs and arms.”
“Yeah, probably to hide their Marks” Jessica muttered under her breath.
“It leaves more to the imagination that way.” He whispered into her ear, blowing on her neck. His hands rested on her shoulders as he kissed the curve of her neck. She sighed, turning to meet his face. His mouth eagerly welcomed her kiss.
“Hem, hem” a voice coughed behind her. “Gods, it’s that infernal Umbridge woman” Severus said lowly. But it was Madame Malkin, who looked sincerely sad to be interrupting such a beautiful moment.
“Oh, that is beautiful, Lady Snape. Shall I show you the latest gowns in from Paris?” Madame Malkin asked as she conjured a rack of beautiful gowns ranging in shade from buttercup yellow to deep violet. Jessica nodded, mouthing “Lady Snape?” to Severus.
“You are to give my lovely bride to be anything she wishes for. Make sure she has the proper wedding attire. Charge it to my account at Gringotts.” He kissed Jessica on her cheek.
“Think of it as my way of saying sorry. I have a quick errand to run. Meet me at the Three Broomsticks in half an hour?” Jessica nodded, and watched as he walked from the shop and away from her view. Jessica tried on a few more gowns, carefully selecting what she thought would be right, along with a few cloaks and pairs of shoes. She left the shop wearing the red dress that Severus had liked.
“Jessica, you look lovely.” She stiffened at the voice of Lucius Malfoy. He walked over to her, pressing a kiss against her lips, while his arm encircled her waist. He let her go with a wry smile on her face.
“Thank you, Lucius. You must give me your address so I can return the gown you lent me.” Jessica said curtly, trying to move away from the man.
“Nonsense, think of it as a wedding present.” His mouth twisted up at the word, wedding. “I do so look forward to seeing you in a few days.” He kissed her again and swept away, a flash of sapphire robes.
Jessica spit on the ground and rubbed her mouth. Gathering up her skirts, she walked over to the Three Broomsticks. She found Ron and Hermione about to enter.
“WOW” Ron said, nearly falling over. Hermione breathed in at the beautiful dress, hoping one day that she would be able to fill it out like that.
“Come one, guys, it’s just me. Severus insisted on buying me the correct clothes for a man of his status.” Jessica said, squinting in the bright sunlight.
“Excuse me, I must get this fair lady out of the sun before she spoils her skin.” Severus led Jessica into the dark pub and into a private back room, leaving Ron and Hermione staring blankly at their Potions master.
“I think someone body snatched Professor Snape” Hermione whispered.
“This is for you” Severus said, holding out a silver box. Jessica opened it up and gasped. Inside the box was a platinum ring with a large black onyx set in the center flanked by two smaller diamonds. A larger ring lay next to it.
“I hope you like them.”
“Are you kidding, I love them!” she exclaimed. Severus ordered a bottle of champagne and sat with Jessica on the small couch.
“To faith. I realize that what you said was true. I have faith that Voldemort will fall. And I have faith in us” He lifted his glass and clinked it with hers.
“To faith” Jessica repeated. They downed the glasses and quickly refilled them.
“You look exquisite.” He pointed out after their 2nd bottle of champagne. Soon Jessica was breathing heavily as Severus removed her gown and laid her on the small couch. He stripped quickly and was inside of her before he knew it.
Harry had found Ron and Hermione and was working on his 4th butterbeer when his bladder caught up. On his way to the loo, he heard a soft moaning sound coming from one of the private rooms. Ignoring his full bladder, he searched for the sound. When he found the source of the sound, Harry peeked through the keyhole. It was a man and a woman, making love, the woman was on top of the man as he sat up. Harry could see the woman’s long dark hair as it swayed with her actions. The man’s hands roamed over her breasts and body. Harry nearly gasped when he saw the Dark Mark on the man’s forearm. He watched as the man lowered the woman on the couch as she closed her eyes as her body shuddered with pleasure. His heart dropped when he saw that it was Jessica, calling out Snape’s name as he collapsed against her. Harry saw her mouth ‘I love you’ to Snape as he rested against her. Tears blurred his vision as he blindly walked back to his table.
“Harry, what’s wrong?” Hermione asked worriedly as she saw Harry’s face as he slumped back into his chair.
‘You guys were right. Jessica loves Snape, not me. I just saw him shagging her in one of the backrooms.” Harry said bitterly, taking a swig from his glass.
“Oh, Harry. That was a very private thing that you saw. You shouldn’t have watched.” She gently admonished.
“Yeah, mate. You had to expect that they were, well you know” Ron supplied. ‘Does she have a great body?”
“Fantastic” Harry said dryly, ordering another drink. He couldn’t get the image and sounds out of his head. Jessica’s moans, the way her body moved as she rocked back and forth on Snape. But he was going to try.
The next few days passed quickly for Jessica. Severus seemed to open up more warmly towards her and towards others too. He said it was because he had something to live for now. Jessica still went to a few classes here and there, but mostly spent her time with Albus and Severus as they trained her in Occulmency and defensive spells. With her permission, Albus modified her memory in case Voldemort tried to take a peek into her mind. She forgot all about where she had come from, and the Harry Potter books. She was far safer this way, Severus explained before Albus preformed the charm.
Jessica had her first DA meeting the night of the Hogsmeade visit and tried to block spells from Ginny Weasley who seemed quite happy to be her partner. Harry wouldn’t meet her eyes and just mumbled instructions to her whenever she passed by. Ginny glared at her and hit her with a stunning spell before she could shield it. Jessica flew backwards and slammed into a bookcase.
“Ginny! How could you do that? She wasn’t even facing you.” Harry exclaimed as he hurried over to where Jessica lay on the floor, not moving. A thin trickle of blood came from a cut behind her ear.
“Well she’s not going to always be attacked from the front.’ Ginny said, watching with glowering eyes as Harry tried to revive Jessica.
“She’s not waking up” Harry whispered frantically.
“Ron, unlace the front of her dress so she can breathe easier. I’ll go get Madame Pomfrey.” Hermione ordered as she ran from the room. Ron’s fingers fumbled with the laces but he managed to undo the knot and tugged on them until they released. Jessica’s chest rose and fell and she let out a deep breath.
“Ow” she said, her eyes fluttering open. Her head throbbed and her back ached.
“Don’t move until Madame Pomfrey comes in. You might have some broken bones”
“Okay. What happened?” Jessica asked quietly.
“You were hit with a Stunning spell.” Harry said coldy, looking at Ginny with a bad look.
“I thought you guys played fair. Who the hell hit me when I was looking the other way?”
“I did” Ginny said, quite loudly. Ron told her to be quiet and she sulked into the corner.
Hermione came back in followed by Professor Snape and Madame Pomfrey.
“That will be a weeks detention and 100 points from Gryffindor, Miss Weasley. Next time, it will be more” Severus growled as he watched Poppy check on Jessica.
“What for?” Ginny complained.
“For attacking someone without cause, and while her back was turned. You are to report to the dungeons on Monday at 7 pm.”
“Professor Snape, we were just” Ginny began in protest.
“If you were just playing by the rules, Miss Weasley, then you would not have done this. Now get out of my sight before I take all points from Gryffindor. Now!” he thundered as the DA emptied out of the room.
“Miss Granger, that will be 10 points to Gryffindor for quickly alerting me. Thank you.”
Hermione just nodded as she watched Madame Pomfrey give Jessica a light green potion. Jessica stood up and leaned on Professor Snape as they walked from the room. She met up with a very angry Ginny.
“Why’d you have to go and get Snape?” Ginny asked, her eyes flashing.
“He was in the infirmary anyways.”
“Well, thanks to you we are down 100 points.”
“No, Ginny, that’s your fault. Why did you do it? Jessica hasn’t done anything to you.” Hermione said, but Ginny turned on her and began shouting.
“She took Harry! All he talks about is Jessica, and how pretty she is. To bad she wasn’t hurt worse. Then maybe he’d look at me! I will make her pay for taking Harry away, Hermione. She hurt him by turning him down, too. But he still wants her, even though she’s nothing but Snape’s little mudblood slut.” Ginny screamed. “She hurt Harry, and she will pay.”
“Ginny” Hermione started, but Ginny pushed her away.
“You don’t understand, Hermione. Only Draco does.” Ginny said before she took of running, leaving Hermione at a loss for words.
Jessica had only had a few bruises and scrapes from her accident. She had heard the malice in Ginny’s voice as she admitted that she attacked Jessica from behind. The red haired Weasley had not been seen in Potions, as far as Jessica knew. She was sure it had to do with Harry, who was still treating her oddly. It wasn’t until Hermione told her why did she figure it out. Harry had seen her with Severus that day. He was in love with her, and Ginny was in love with him. It would have made a funny romantic comedy had she not been slammed into a bookcase.
“Are you all right?” Severus asked, as he helped Jessica into her gown. It was plain white cotton shift with full sleeves and a full skirt. She wore no undergarments and her hair was unbound. They were in an abandoned house in the country and she was preparing for her wedding and to take the Mark.
“I’m nervous and scared. My heart is beating so fast, I can hardly breathe.”
“It will be okay. I’m here for you.”
The door to the room swung open and Wormtail scuffled in.
“They are ready for her.” He told Severus. Jessica held her head high as she followed the balding man outside. Every move she made was being watched. She walked to where Voldemort sat and knelt on front of him. She kissed the hem of his cloak and waited for him to tell her to rise.
“Look at me, mudblood.” Voldemort commanded. Jessica found herself staring in his eyes. He scanned her mind and found her memories. There was a part that he could not get through though, a dead place.
“Why can’t I find a certain part of your memory, mudblood?’
“I was in a car accident, Master. I had amnesia.”
“Very well. You may stand.” Jessica stood, her eyes on the ground, as Severus had instructed her to do. She heard a rustle of fabric as Voldemort stood behind her. His thin dry hands moved over her body as be ripped the dress from her body. His nails scraped across her back as he touched her.
“So beautiful” Voldemort hissed, as his Death Eaters laughed. “But not enough fire in her to suit me yet. She must be broken a little, like Bella. I can sense her spirit. She’s feisty.” He licked his lips as a smile spread across his face.
“Turn around” Jessica did, and found herself looking at Severus. Through his Death Eaters mask his dark eyes locked with hers. Voldemort’s hands groped her body, pinching her nipples, touching her center. He grabbed her wrists and tied them tightly behind her back. Shoving her on the ground, he conjured a glittering knife and a riding crop. Jessica dared not look up to see what was about to happen to her.
Voldemort raised the riding crop and brought it down upon her skin. She tensed up, wanting to scream, but did not. He brought it down again, 5 more times, striking all over her back, drawing blood. Finally, she began to scream as he whipped her shoulders, buttocks, arms and legs. The blows thudded through the night as well as her screams. Her skin burned as she heard the whip hit the ground. Her warm blood ran over her body and stained the grass red. Jessica could taste the blood as it ran from her back down her neck and into her mouth. She was surprised that she was still awake after the 25 lashes that she had received. Voldemort must had done something to keep her passing out from the pain.
He grabbed her long hair, parts of it were red, and matted with blood, and yanked her head back so that Jessica was forced on her knees again. Severus watched as the blood ran from her, as she screamed when she saw Voldemort come at her with the knife. He was glad that his mask hid his face, for tears slid from his eyes. On his other side hear Narcissa softly crying and Lucius chuckling.
The knife glittered in the moonlight as Voldemort brought it to her breasts. His eyes shone brightly as he dragged the sharp blade across her chest, right over her heart. He touched the tip of his wand to this blood and then sliced his own hand, touching the wand to that also. Placing his bleeding hand over her chest wound, he commanded her to look at him. The hate flared in her eyes as she stared into his scarlet eyes.
“There is the fire that I want to see. You have passed. You will always be loyal to me, won’t you?”
“Yes, my Lord, my Master. I will serve you until the last breath runs from my body.”
Jessica said, her voice shaky from tears.
“That is what I like to hear.” Voldemort laughed as he untied her hands. He grabbed her hand and pressed the bloody wand tip to her wrist. He said something and Jessica felt her skin burn as the Dark Mark seared into her flesh. She screamed so loudly that her ears rang.
He pulled the wand away and yanked her to her feet. Jessica had stopped screaming now, and her throat was raw. Voldemort motioned for all of the Death Eaters to form around him. They pulled their hoods and masks off. Lucius came to her first, his face full of pleasure. He pulled her closely to him, his hands groping her breasts, squeezing them. His tounge invaded her mouth as he crushed her lips in a kiss. Narcissa came next, lightly hugging her body and kissing her softly. The others followed quickly. Crabbe Sr. nearly broke her ribs as he kissed her. Bellatrix was surprisingly gentle as she greeted Jessica. “It’ll be okay” she whispered as she kissed Jessica’s bruised lips.
Severus came to her last, his eyes speaking volumes as he gently touched her broken body. She wanted to cry, but knew that she was still being judged and instead accepted his kiss. His mind spoke to hers as he kissed her, telling her he was so sorry. She didn’t answer back. When Severus pulled away, he noticed her eyes were blank.
“Do you claim this woman as your own, Severus Snape?” Voldemort asked.
‘I do so, my Lord.” Severus replied as he stood by Jessica.
“She will have you?”
“She will, Master”
“Join your wand tips.”
Severus handed Jessica her wand. She shakingly touched it to Severus’. Voldemort said something in Parseltounge and a glowing light covered them both.
“You are bound to each other, heart and soul. You may claim her as your wife now.” He handed a vial of clear liquid to Jessica and told her to drink the contents down.
“It’s not poison. Just a fertility potion to ensure that you carry on the Snape line.” Jessica drank and tossed the bottle on the ground. Severus laid his cloak on the grass and Jessica lay back. She looked at Severus as he stripped slowly and entered her. Her body screamed out in agony as he moved above her. Slowly, the pleasure took over and she moaned as his lips kissed her neck. Severus moved so that Jessica was on top of him. She felt closer to the brink as her orgasm approached. She yelled out in pleasure as they climaxed together. She could feel the warm seed inside of her as she laid against Severus. He pulled her off of him and looked at Voldemort.
“Stand now, my little one.” Jessica stood, her body shaking. The blood that had started to dry was now flaking off and fresh blood flowed from her body. Voldemort pressed a kiss to her cheek. His hands touched her womb and he smiled.
“The life is already beginning to grow inside of you, Jessica. I will no longer harm you unless you give me cause to do so. Take care of the life inside of you, for it is our future.”
“Thank you, my Lord.”
Voldemort turned to Severus. “Bring her home and heal her body. I want her to look beautiful when she sits by my side at the next meeting. Tell that fool, Albus that I did worse to her. Tell him that I allowed my followers to humiliate her.”
“I will, Master.”
Severus covered Jessica with his cloak and held her steady as they walked back to the house. She started to cry again as he touched her back.
“The spell to keep you conscious is wearing off.” Jessica cried out as Severus gathered her in his arms. She floated in and out of darkness as Severus used a portkey and brought them to the gates of Hogwarts.
He ran up to the hospital wing, her body limp in his arms. She was breathing in and out harshly and her eyes were half open.
‘Poppy!” Severus screamed as he laid Jessica on the bed. He was thankful that for once, the room was devoid of all students.
Poppy came running over and nearly vomited at seeing the lash marks on Jessica’s body. The poor girl was still awake and was in severe pain. She took a glass from her pocket and knelt by Jessica.
“Open up, sweetie. This will make you feel all better.” She poured a honey colored liquid down her throat. Jessica fell asleep quickly.
“How is she, Poppy?” Albus asked, from behind Severus. His eyes widened at Jessica’s bloody body.
“She’s asleep now, thankfully. Her body is lacerated and she has a cut above her heart.”
Poppy levitated her and flipped her over so that she was lying on her stomach. “Dear God.” She whispered, falling into a chair. Jessica’s back was latticed with oozing red welts. She worked carefully, wiping the blood away and applying healing potion with gentleness.
“The scars will heal in a few hours, but she’ll have to stay in here until morning. Severus, would you like to stay?”
He nodded, watching her face, now wiped clean of blood. It was peaceful now. Her Dark Mark stood out lividly on her white skin. It was covered with a cooling salve and lay next to her head, her fingers resting on her cheek. He kissed her forehead and went to talk to Albus.
‘What did they do to her, Severus.”
Tears filled his voice and he began to sob roughly. He had not cried since his mother died. Albus laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.
“Voldemort lashed her, 25 times. He Marked her and then the others, they” his voice trailed off.
“He bound us and made me take her as my own. She’s pregnant now. Fertility potion to make her conceieve.”
“I’m sorry.”
Albus walked away, his eyes shining bright. Severus cast a warming charm on Jessica so that she would not catch a chill due to her exposed body. The marks were mostly on her back, but a few were on her legs and arms. He held her hand in his and whispered “I love you”
Ginny had woken up with her ankle throbbing so badly that she hobbled down to the hospital. She saw a figure laying in the bed and couldn’t believe her eyes. It was Jessica and Snape was asleep next to her. Ginny grinned when she saw Jessica’s raw back. She nearly laughed until her eyes wandered over Jessica’s wrist.
Jessica was a Death Eater. And Ginny was going to make damn sure everyone knew it.
The door behind Jessica slammed shut. Severus stalked in the staff room and sat roughly on a wooden chair. The other teachers looked up in surprise as they continued their conversation.
