Flawed Chemistry

Authors Note

First, let me say thank you to everyone whose supported me and/or weighed in their thoughts, be them good or bad. I know that some feel I had a fit or I blew things out of proportion and, well, perhaps I did. Perhaps, I didn\'t. It\'s all a matter of opinion and it\'s all a matter of context. Nevertheless, I thank you all the same.

With that said, I will say that I\'m just letting this entire thing go. Whether some of you still want to weigh in with your thoughts, bash me for \"overreacting\" or simply put in your support, it is entirely up to you and I won\'t be deleting any posts. At least, none that I find to be attack on myself or someone else. I think that has happened enough.

There is only one last thing that I wish to address before I do, indeed, let this turn into ash. Somene e-mailed weighing in on what the felt. I responded to them in kind but I just thought I\'d post a bit here for the sake of...well, I don\'t know, I just thought I should...

No matter what anyone believes or would like to compare me to, I am not under the delusion that I\'m \"all important\" for writing. Let me rephrase that...I write fan fiction for gods sake. I\'m making no money, I\'m working with already thought up and reused several million times characters and, while yes, I\'d to think my ideas are somewhat original, they are in no way something special. If it wouldn\'t have been me writing this, it would have been someone else.

I know this; I think we all know this. I\'m not trying to inflate my ego (point of fact, if I were, I wouldn\'t use a penname to write. I\'d use my real name and flaunt it to the high heavens but alas...I\'m using a penname) and I\'m certainly not claiming my fan fiction is fabulous, much less good. I enjoy writing just because. No other reason. I\'m constantly trying to improve because, lets all face it, I need work. Lots of it.

I know my own problems, run-ons and fragments are a particular favorite of mine that I don\'t seem to be able to get past but still, I\'m trying. And, I\'ll continue to do so.

But, anyhow, once again I want to send a warm thank-you to those who posted their thoughts (good or bad). I\'ll certainly take into consideration what everyone has said and hopefully this will be the last authors note I post until the end of the story entirely.
