The request that inspired the madness
The Request
That Inspired the Madness
For those interested, this fic was inspired as a part of the Secret Santa Fic Exchange by a yahoo group It\'s Always the Quiet Ones, that caters to the ships of D/Hr, B/Hr, D/B, and D/Hr/B.
Below are the details of the request that inspired the fic that I hope you enjoyed reading. I am happy to say that the requestor has given positive feedback on the fic and I can only hope that others enjoy it as well. Thank you for taking the time to read, and hopefully to review as well! May you all be blessed! <3 gryff
45. Name/Pen Name: Varada
Pairing of the fic you want: Must include all three pairings of Draco/Hermione, Blaise/Draco, Blaise/Hermione, but no threesome.
Rating(s) of the fic you want: R to NC-17
3 - 5 Things you want your gift to include:
- Blaise
is openly gay and has always harboured a large crush on Draco. They may
or may not have some sort of secret unspoken relationship, but Draco is
not willing to accept their relationship and Draco is not gay. - Draco
and Hermione have a relationship of some sort going on, and Blaise
initially hates Hermione because he\'s jealous of her, and hates the
fact that he can\'t be a girl like Hermione so he can win Draco\'s love
for once. - An emotional gripping confrontation scene between Blaise and Hermione.
- The story must end in Blaise/Hermione, with Blaise realizing that he is actually in love with Hermione. A happy ending.
- The
main theme in this story should be that true love transcends gender. In
that as much as a straight person may be narrow-minded about a gay
relationship, Blaise who is a gay, has also been prejudiced about
having a relationship with a girl, any girl. But being with Hermione,
he learns that true love is beautiful, and it doesn\'t matter if you\'re
a boy or a girl, because it\'s already so hard to find that one person
who completes you, regardless of gender, and when you *do*, you should
not let the chance slip by.
What you don’t want your gift to include: No threesomes.
