Commentary
Harry Potter and the Raunchy Order of the Phoenix Commentary:
To begin with, this fanfiction was partially inspired by Maizeysugah's Broken Angel (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1269995). I'm sure you'll notice that they're extremely different fanfics, as hers is serious and involves a lot more people and is longer and much much better. But it was thinking about her fic (specifically, Harry having the run of Voldie's base) that inspired me to write this one.
Second, I decided that my goal in part was to write something that hypothetically, based on what we know about the book, could actually be the plot (note: not the entire book) of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It's not 38 chapters of course, but here are the things that I knew about the book that I decided to put in the fanfic:
The opening sentence ("The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive...")
Somebody who is a "special fan" of Harry's dies.
The "Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses. "It is time," he said..." bit, somewhere in the book.
There is, obviously, an Order of the Phoenix.
There is a room that is round at least at the ends (if not completely round), lighted blue and with blue candles (the American book cover by Mary GrandPre shows this).
Of course, I was really just thinking about this as a slash. That's all it's really supposed to be. And for those of you who worry about my writing so much H/D, don't you feel better? This was my first time inserting anything else, even if it was brief, unfulfilled Harry/Lucius and Harry/Tom Riddle.
Chapter 1: The Order (Draco)
Oh, another thing: These chapters are all written in the 3rd-person perspective, but each has a character who is the main focus of the chapter. So when it says Chapter 1: The Order (Draco), that means Draco's the focus.
This fic had the most misspellings of any fic I've ever written, I think. The problem is with all the uploading and stuff, FF.net is a bitch to correct these things on. Let's see. We'll keep track of all my misspellings. In this chapter: Surrey (misspelled as "Surry," gah).
"Vehere," according to some online latin dictionary, means Travel. The basic idea is that Draco has a portkey on his person (perhaps his shirt), and the word to activate it is "Vehere." It's not actually a spell, per se.
The room that Harry starts out in is supposed to be the room in the American Order of the Phoenix cover (http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/images/2003/03/HarryPotterPhoenixAmerican.jpg). At least in my head. If you don't get the "sperm" reference, check out the candles in the lower right corner. And put your head in the gutter while you look. You'll get it.
Chapter 2: The Winged Snake (Draco)
Ouchie, so short! I'm not quite sure why. It didn't turn out as short in my head. But oh well.
I really really really wanted to give Harry a tattoo. I didn't want him to turn out like 100% rebel but I wanted to show him kinda caring less about other people's opinions. Plus I thought it'd be really hot for Draco to lick the tattoo. Teehee. (If you want to see my drawing of Harry's tattoo: http://64.251.244.115/art/dragon.png).
Please note that Harry 'wakes up' (if he wasn't already awake!) when Draco starts licking his neck.
And thus begins Draco's sexual frustration and the really obvious change in Harry's personality. And no, it's not totally out of character, as you'll see in chapter...7 I think!
No misspellings this chapter, but I forgot to close the quotes after "kindly keep to your chair, Malfoy..."
Chapter 3: For a Dreamer, Night's the Only Time of Day (Voldie, sort of)
Actually, technically my idea was for chapters 2-6 to all be Voldie watching the two boys develop a relationship (hence such phrases as "It must have been hell for Draco..."). But it was difficult to keep out all of Draco's and Harry's thoughts and still have everything make sense AND make it not too obvious that it was Voldemort playing the voyeur (you're not supposed to know that until chapter 6). Did it work? ^^;;;
The idea of Harry getting Draco to masturbate in his dream...I have no idea what part of my twisted little head came up with that actually, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Please note that Draco begins arching and writhing and such when Harry goes for the fingers.
Hey, no misspellings or whatever o_o; maybe.
And then came Lucius. *cough* no pun intended.
Chapter 4: Lucius Gets a Mouthful (Voldie, sort of, still)
Lucius's involvement in the plot really only happened because I wanted him to give Harry head and get nothing in return. He deserves it. And Harry deserves to get head, and lots of it, for having to put up with these people (whether I'm referring to death eater fan fanfic writers, that's up to you).
Please note that Harry starts squirming and such after Lucius kisses down his neck. Lucius not being as observant as he'd like to think, he doesn't notice this. He doesn't notice it later, either, what an idiot.
I also just really liked the image of Lucius, on his knees, eyes wide in surprise, mouth agape, and cum dribbling down his chin. "What the fuck just happened here? Did I get taken advantage of?"
Chapter 5: Return to the Library (Voldie still)
I don't know why all the sex (except Draco's masturbation and the licking of the tattoo. And Voldie's masturbation) ended up happening in the library. It just felt right. I mean, it's carpeted, for one. And it's got chairs and tables and books and all sorts of other spiffy things.
So Draco finally gets laid, and not in the way that he meant to. But enjoys it anyway, splendid irony.
I think that the whole bit about "Are you sure you're not really a Slytherin in disguise" "No, I suppose I'm not sure" made people think that Harry was going to go evil, 'cause I got a bunch of comments demanding that I do so. Sorry folks, I already had plans ;)
Chapter 6: Fuckbunnies of Wrath (Voldie)
Credit for this title goes to my pal Togras. I said "Give me a chapter title." I didn't expect him to come up with anything useful as he had no clue what I was writing, but I thought it might open up conversation so I could think of one. But he replied "Fuckbunnies of Wrath." And I said, "Holy shit, you're a genius." So that's where the title came from.
So at last we realize that Voldie's been watching (and wanking) all this time. I wanted to get his perspective out there too, so it doesn't just seem like he randomly decided to rape Harry or whatever.
And here's where the Sexual Weaknesses come in to play! I dunno where I came up with this idea either, but I like to think it works.
Chapter 7: Harry Explains it All (Harry! At last!)
My idea was that Voldie quickly sent Lucius in to stop the two boys, as he was worried that since Draco knew Harry's weak spot now, he might try his hand(cock) at being the dom. Why didn't they have sex after dinner? Draco was busy studying for the test his father was giving the next day, of course!
So now we see why Harry's been acting a little off these days. I think it makes sense. I hope you do too =D
So Lucius dies. He is, at least in this fic, the "special fan" (*wink wink nudge nudge*) of Harry's who dies. Hah! Betcha didn't think it'd be HIM, didja? Nooo, everyone's all "It's Hagrid!" "It's Mrs. Weasley!" "It's Dumbledore!" But it's Lucius. Bye bye blondie.
I just noticed that my commentary is longer than most of the chapters, but I like to think it's funny or entertaining or something at least.
So Harry's about to get fucked, quite literally.
Chapter 8: Don't Touch My Thing(s)! (Harry)
I wish I had a glasses fairy.
Does the ending seem too abrupt? My endings are notably crappy, almost all of the time. But I got in Dumbledore's explanation (makes sense, don't it?) and I got in some more Harry/Draco loving. Here's a bit of epiloguey-ness:
Eventually, Draco DOES get to be dom.
Eventually, Harry DOES tell Draco that Lucius was the one who gave him head in the library. But they're both very drunk at the time, and neither one remembers.
Neither boy EVER gets pregnant. Nor do they adopt, as they don't want to put a damper on their sex lives.
Hermione and Ron are NOT thrilled with Harry and Draco's relationship, but they're too busy snogging to say anything about it.
They all DO live happily ever after.
