sometimes you just gotta sing and dance

For those of you who may not recognize the words, the song is \'Bad to the Bone\' by George Thorogood. I\'m sure we all have heard it a few times and danced along with it....BTW, thanks for all the great reviews! I\'ve done fanfic before but usually don\'t use anything but my own original characters as the center of the story. It\'s a nice break to have one that only meddles in the usually characters affairs instead of carrying the whole story. You\'ve inspired me to work more on this instead of filing it away somewhere. THANKS! :: smoooches::::

Having decided to take his advice in all matters pertaining to the horse, she immediately had jumped into the bath after reaching the house. The hot water feels good to her muscles, allowing them to relax once again. When she climbs out, her good mood has returned and she wraps a towel around her, hips swaying to the tune in her head. She reaches out, touching the globe and filling the room with the song she had going through her head. Grinning evilly, she grabs a brush, dancing around the little room as she lip sincs to the words.

Now when the day was I born
the nurses all gathered around
and they gazed in wide wonder
at the joy they had found
The head nurse spoke up
said leave this one alone
She could tell right away
that I was bad to the bone
Bad to the bone

He groans softly, the sound of music coming from her room making him wish he had stayed outside in the quiet. He tosses the book he had started to read onto a nearby table, surging to his feet with another soft groan. His muscles ache from the ride as he mounts the steps, hoping thumthumping of the music won\'t begin a similar thumping in his head. Without thinking, he opens the door to her room without knocking first.
He stares at her in shock, the sight of her dancing nearly naked clearing his mind of the reason he had come up in the first place. She spins, facing him with her eyes closed, singing into her hairbrush in total abandon. Realizing he either must close the door again, to which she will notice, or call attention to his presence right away and get her to tone down the music, he clears his throat and puts on his best scowl. \"Miss Granger!\"
She stops midchorus and stares at him in horror. \"Um, yes Professor?\" She stammers, suddenly wrapping her arms over her chest to try to conceal it.
\"Would you mind silencing that noise you call music?\" He narrows his eyes at her, trying to not notice the way her breasts are pushed up and almost out of the towel now. \"If you wish to listen to such things, either put a silencing spell on your room so I do not have to listen to it or listen to something everyone in listening range can enjoy.\" He steps back out of the room, nearly slamming the door in his haste to get away before the sight of her can affect him more.

She glares at the closed door, touching the globe to silence it. \"Well then, what the hell do you like!?!\" She growls out.
\"Showtunes, classical, opera\" Sarah laughs behind her, hovering near the window. \"And don\'t let him fool you, I\'ve seen him sing to a few rock songs too.\"
Hermione nearly falls onto her bed, shocked at Sarah\'s words. \"Bloody hell! That will have to be something I\'d have to see!\"
