Cormac offered Harry the evidence triumphantly.

“Where the hell did you get that Cormac?” Harry asked incredulously.

“Some of us actually use ALL of our Merlin-given eyesight Potter. I found it next to the latest male victim’s body”

Cormac smirked, making Harry want to drop the wand and punch him in the face.

“It’s fairly simple, really looking at things can give you a whole new perspective on things, don’t you think?”

McLaggen continued haughtily.

“I want it analysed straight away, this could be our make-or-break piece of evidence to catch the prick.”

Harry spoke quickly, pulling out his wand to perform the necessary analysis spell he preferred as opposed to waiting a few days for the results the normal way of the Aurors. This was fastest, most reliable way to determine results in the field. The results were back in two minutes. The match was unmistakably shocking to Harry. One name spelled in letters of fire.

As Cormac and Harry were sitting down and dissecting the new evidence,

Ginny was preparing to tell Roger about the pregnancy. A knock sounded at the door. Her heart started pounding wildly.

Roger smiled at her with that heart-melting smile she loved.

“Ginny, love what’s wrong? Your owl was so urgent, I came straight over.” Roger smiled at Ginny,

emulating the concerned lover to perfection.

 “Roger there’s something you need to know.” Her big brown eyes welled with tears.

“Roger I am two months pregnant. The baby is yours, and I know this is true because it can't be Harry's,

he was away for two weeks during the period of conception. I’ve been to a Healer and --”

With Ginny asleep after a celebratory and highly passionate love making session, Roger slipped out of the back door and Apparated out of the alley next to the local shop four houses down. With a faint popping noise he appeared outside of the appartement he shared with his true lover.

He walked into the living room.

“Cormac? Love, I’ve got some news for you!” Roger called through their apartment. McLaggen appeared at the bathroom door, toothbrush in hand, silently regarding his lover.

“Ginny’s pregnant. I’m the father!” He spoke breathlessly. The news of pinning Draco could wait.

Cormac looked at Roger. “Oh? That’s all you had to tell me? That you that some red-head slut pregnant?” His tone was ice as he spoke. “ Besides love, I fail to see what that snatch has that couldn’t compare with my love for you, and what I have done for you, What I've done for us.”

His voice broke on the last word. Roger ran to him immediately taking his boyfriend's hands in his own and kissing them lightly.

“Baby, don’t you understand? We can adopt the baby as yours and mine, as a blood adoption.”

“Why? Why should I allow you to make that abomination my problem?”

“Because, we can and we will kill the bitch and keep the baby after she gives birth. Let Potter believe the baby is his for the time being. When she gives birth we’ll kill her and then torture him and kill him."

"I suppose we’ll leave Britain and take the baby, raising it as BOTH of ours?”

"Of course, love." Roger smirked knowing he'd won.

“How can we get away with it?”

“We frame someone. Malfoy's already being pinned as a suspect in those murders right now so why not have him as the scapegoat for Potter and Ginny too?"

Cormac's eyes glittered maliciously at the plan.
