Chapter 8
Title: Things Don’t Go as Planned

Summary: Hermione gets bitten by Lupin during her third year. During the course of that year she finds her soul mate, gets a surprise, has odd effects, puts up with prats, finds a unusual friend, puts up with a meddling Headmaster, and wonders why the world has gone to hell, HG/RL pairing.

Chapter 8
Hermione waited for Ginny to return from where she and Blaise were at. She didn’t want to tell Ginny that she had found out where her friend had gone, that would mean that she had followed her, and she knew that this wouldn’t go over well. Several hours later Ginny returned and Hermione cleared her throat.
“Going out with Blaise again,” Hermione said.
Ginny turned and said, “You followed me.”
“No, I smell him on you,” Hermione answered, lying about how she really knew that Ginny was seeing Blaise.
“Stupid werewolf senses,” Ginny muttered and then said, “What is it to you?”
“Nothing, I’m not some idiot bigot,” Hermione told her.
“Oh yeah, you are,” Ginny said.
“And what does that mean,” Hermione asked, not sure if she knew.
“I found out that you’re pregnant with Lupin’s child,” Ginny told her.
Hermione went white and Ginny continued, “How could you think that Lupin would rape you.”
“Because he’s like me,” Hermione said, “And he can’t control his damn fertility clinic.”
“Oh so just because he’s acting like all animals do he’s suddenly a bad man,” Ginny said, “And I thought that you said that you weren’t a bigot.”
“I’M NOT!” Hermione screamed.
“Prove it,” Ginny challenged and then said, “When you’re ready to tell Lupin that he’s going to be a father look me up.”
And she stormed off.
Hermione thought over what Ginny had said. She just didn’t get it, no one did. True Harry had his reasons for wanting Hermione to reveal to Lupin that he was going to be a father but Ginny had no reason. She wouldn’t tell Ron that Ginny was seeing Blaise but that didn’t mean that she was going to follow her or anyone’s advice. She sighed and pulled a piece of parchment towards her. She was going to write to Harry and see how he was doing.
Dear Harry,
I hope that your doing well and that things with Snape are going well. I know that Ginny is worried that he is trying something with you but I feel that if he doesn’t want Dumbledore down his throat he’ll treat you with some measure of respect. Let me know how your doing and how your Christmas is going.

PS! I haven’t yet told Lupin.
She then put this in an envelope and left Gryffindor tower.
The moment that she did Moody slammed her into the wall. Hermione let out a horrible scream but he drowned that out by kissing her. Hermione wanted to bite him, to get him off of her, but the damn werewolf inside of her was responding. She moaned as he rubbed against her and felt him rip her underwear off and enter her. She screamed in pain as he moved in and out of her.
“Your mine,” he stated.
Hermione moved with him and then he emptied inside of her. When he pulled out she came to her senses and kicked him, hard, sending him flying against the wall. She felt like some slut that had been taken in a back alley.
“Try that again and I’ll cut your damn dick off,” Hermione snarled and she hurried away.

“Oh this just gets better and better,” Snape said when Lupin called him back to Hogwarts, “When do we get to see your dick on display?”
“This isn’t funny, Severus,” Lupin said, “I raped her, again.”
“Oh and you think that I’m going to help you woo her,” Snape told her, getting up, “You raped her, Remus, and I don’t give a rats ass if your mates. Touch her again and I’ll make sure that you end up in Azkaban.”
He heard Lupin growl and he screamed, “YOU STINKING RAPED HER. I’M ONLY DOING WHAT I BELIEVE IS RIGHT SO THAT YOU DON’T TOUCH HER.”
“I didn’t mean to,” Lupin said.
“Yeah, well that’s what all rapists say,” Snape told him and then left.

When Harry woke up the next morning he found a boy that looked a year younger than him reading a book. He then heard Snape and the woman that claimed to be his mother talking. The boy looked up and said, “It seems that someone got into trouble.”
“Who?”
“Some man name Lupin,” the boy answered, “I’m William by the way.”
“Harry,” Harry said.
“Nice to meet you,” William said, “Now listen carefully and hear what their saying.”
Harry listened closely and heard, “He keeps saying that he’s sorry but Moody won’t leave her alone. Even with her being pregnant.”
“Is there something that can be done,” Lily asked.
“Nothing,” Snape answered, “Remus is going to have to figure out how to get her to forgive him. Until then she’s going to avoid him like the plague.”
“I hope that she does,” Lily said, “I can’t even imagine what she’s going through.”
“Well he better clean up that thing that he has or I’ll cut it off and mail it to someone that wants to collect those things.”
Harry saw red, Lupin had raped Hermione.
“I’m going to kill him,” Harry vowed.
“I think that you might have to get into line,” William told him.
Harry figured that he was right.

“Hermione, I’m sorry,” Lupin told her when he saw her.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” Hermione told him, “You raped me, twice, and you think that I’m going to jump over the moon to date you.”
“Please, Hermione, I know that it was wrong but when I’m around you I can’t control myself. Your perfect and I’m a freaking monster.”
Hermione poked her head out and glared at him, “Your right, you’re a monster. If you really were the sweet person that I met on the train you wouldn’t have done what you did.”
Lupin felt the tears welling up. “I am a good person.”
“Then prove it,” Hermione said, “There’s more to a relationship then sex and all that stuff.”
Lupin’s heart skipped, “Does this mean that you’re giving me a second chance?”
Hermione groaned and said, “I don’t’ know why but if you can prove that there’s more to you then fucking me then we’ll have a chance.”
“Thank you,” Lupin said.
Hermione sighed again and then said, “You’re going to be a father.”
And then she closed the door, leaving Lupin totally shocked.

Note: Finally Lupin back on track. He’s going to have to work hard to prove that he’s truth worthy and worthy to be a dad. Also how did Ginny find out about Hermione being pregnant, wonder wonder. Next up: Harry yells at Lupin and Snape and Lily have some alone time.
