“la mia figlia siete la mia figlia!! “



Hermione turned to look at her as she did her face showed shock as Serena was crying and hugged Hermione and talking in rapid Italian as Hermione wondered what she was saying.



“My daughter you are my daughter!!”



Serena said finally in english and Hermione for a moment looked at her shocked, surprised and shook her head.



“No that is, how can you tell? I mean doesn't something like that require blood?”



Serena wiped her eyes and nodded as she then smiled and she revealed.



“My daughter has a birthmark, just so behind her right ear. I believe that you are she, my Isabella if so then I am your Mama.. A blood test..Would you like a blood test to tell you what my heart and eyes are saying to me?? “



Serena sounded a little offended but also curious as she looked at Hermione, she began to notice things as she smiled a moment.



“You have my hair and eyes, and I think we need to speak with Albus right away! He would know surely??



Draco Abraxus,Scorpius Malfoy!



You are marrying my daughter and seem to have bedded her before the nuptials?”



Serena yelled the last part as she looked at Draco who was silent and he just was respectful as he looked a little bit guilty a moment.



Hermione answered for him however as she looked at Serena a moment. She blushed slightly as she shook her head.



“No, that is we haven't had intercourse..But I am not a virgin, if you are my Mother then I will tell you the full story but wait! Wait Dumbledore would know??”



Hermione had to stop a moment to take this in as she closed her eyes and leaned more into Draco a moment and allowed all of this to wash over her. She opened her eyes as she did she felt herself mixed between wanting it to be truth and not.



Holy Shit! Why didn't I think to ask and see if Dumbledore possibly knows who my parents are? I mean he has to know,don't they put that somewhere on your paperwork when your born and your name gets added to come to this school???



Hermione took a calming breath a moment and then she decided she had to sit down. This was too much, So she possibly had a Mother who was alive and a brother..



OH MY GOD! I ALMOST POSSIBLY HAD SEX WITH MY OWN BROTHER OR AT LEAST HIS GIRLFRIEND!!!



Hermione eyes bulged huge with that thought a moment and Draco sat down next to her, his concern for her shown in his grey eyes as he watched her and felt a bit of sadness mixed with happiness for Serena and Blaise.



He didn't know how this would affect Hermione,except to know she really wanted to know who her family was and why they abandoned her. He too wanted to know and understand. He looked at Serena a moment quietly who was looking between Draco and Hermione silently in her own thoughts.



"Mama Serena,Can you explain to us why if Hermione does end up being Isabella that she was sent to live with muggles? And if it is true,I'd like to know who exactly placed her with that couple of muggles in particularly myself."



Draco asked this quietly and calmly as he knew that getting his anger up at this point would not solve anything, also he felt that if it was true then Serena would not have placed her with such horrible people knowingly.



"Perhaps you have something a little bit stronger than Tea for this Draco? It's a sad tale and one I do not like to talk about. If indeed and I feel it in my soul, that Hermione is indeed my daughter Isabella, yes I will tell my tale. as for who would have placed her in the muggle world,that I cannot tel you as my tale will reveal."



Serena took a calming breath a moment as she looked sadly a moment at both Draco and Hermione and she let out a sigh.



"It is only honestly my want and need for my child to be returned to me alive that keeps me going. the truth is I'm not even sure that Isabella is still alive, my heart tells me she is and sitting right there,but the facts are that she disappeared when she was two years old and I have not seen my baby since."



Draco nodded getting up and going to the kitchenette and brought back three shot glasses and a bottle of Ogden's finest Fire Whiskey and he poured a finger of whiskey in each of the shots and he set the bottle down on the table.



Serena nodded quietly a moment and reached for one of the shots and pinched her nose as she downed the shot in one go and she then drank some of the tea in a cup in front of her. Draco nor Hermione for the moment drank a shot of the Fire Whiskey. Serena made a face but then she relaxed as best as she could.



"It was around the end of the first war with Lord Voldemort,with Tom Riddle. It was a little over a year since the downfall of the darkest wizard in history. I was shopping in Verona, muggle Verona as they don't have a place like Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley there.



I was shopping and I had Blaise and Hermione both in the pram and , I was stupid I know that now as I had let my guard down and assumed that everything was fine. I turned a moment to look at some fabric for a dress I was going to make Isabella and.. "



Serena took the second shot and she didn't drink some of the tea after this. For a moment her hand shook as she placed the shot glass down and she took a calming breath. Tears had begun to pool in her eyes and slowly a few fell free upon her cheeks as she took a moment to compose herself.



" I turned back and my Daughter was gone. I cried out and looked around, I even asked the muggle police to help me but they turned up nothing. They could not find my baby. I was so stupid, I shouldn't have turned my back for an instant. Blaise of course was fine and unhurt,he didn't even cry at first but then he screamed and cried as I did also."



Serena then took the third shot and she closed her eyes a moment as the burn of the whiskey hit her throat a third time and she opened her eyes as a flood of tears began to run now. Hermione looked on at this woman with much compassion and sadness as she too had begun to cry at her story.



Draco was silent as he had always heard that Isabella had been missing but he never knew the full intent of the story.He sat down and held Hermione in his arms a moment then he kissed her forehead and he went over and sat down next to Serena rubbing her back as she sniffled a moment delicately.



"I searched and have searched every sighting, every possible lead to find my baby girl. She was gone,it was as if she disappeared from the world. The detectives in Verona had no leads and the place had been full of muggles so the Ministry Aurors had no way of getting leads as the abduction had been done non magically. All I knew and have known now for close to Sixteen years is that my daughter was gone."



Serena turned over each of the shot glasses one by one a moment as she was trying to for a moment take her mind off the pain clutching her heart. she then looked up at Hermione and asked her.



"If you are my daughter and I believe that you are, you will be about Eighteen now am I correct?"



Hermione was quiet and then she nodded as she looked at Serena a moment levelly.



"I celebrate my Birthday on September 21st and yes I would be Eighteen then.I was two when I went to live with the Granger's. That has always been the day they celebrated my birthday because that was the day I went to live with them."



Serena was silent a moment as she pulled out a picture from her robes and handed it to Hermione a moment. Hermione looked at it and froze as she took a calming breath. The picture was of a family portrait containing Serena,A dark haired man and two children. What had however caught Hermione's eyes was the girl in the photograph. she stared at it a moment and then looked back up with tears running down her cheeks heavily as she nodded and handed the picture back to Serena who placed it back in her robes.



" If you are indeed my daughter, my Isabella, your birthday was indeed September 21st 1979 and you were abducted on that day two years later. Blaise was also born that day he would your twin Brother."



Hermione nodded a moment as she tried to think of what little clues she had been told when she was younger about her going to live with the Granger's. Hermione for a moment fiddled with her necklace and Serena's eyes opened wide as she moved stepping forward and she surprised Hermione by pulling out a locket from her shirt and looking over it carefully.



"It doesn't open I've tried.."



Hermione said as she saw Serena was trying to open the locket and Serena then surprised Hermione by grinning a moment.



"Do you know what the inscription means? and of course you cannot open it yet, but I can if you wish you see, that necklace was my Grand mama's and I gave it to my precious Isabella when she turned two.this proves your my Isabella to me.."



Serena told her with a smile as she touched the locket and said a word in Italian that Hermione had never heard before and to her great astonishment it opened.

As it opened Hermione looked inside and saw a picture of Serena and a woman who had fair hair and skin and she looked back at them a moment her fingertips caressing over the portraits and she could not deny it anymore. She hugged Serena and began to cry hysterically as they embraced and Draco just hugged them both a moment.



The portrait door opened and another set of arms came to hug them in that moment. Draco pulled back to see Blaise was crying and noticed that Professor Headmaster Dumbledore stepped into the room. He had a smile on his face as he took in the family reunion.



"It is a blessed day indeed."



Albus walked in and he was flanked by Severus Snape who looked on the reunion with a mix of apathy and relief a moment. He then walked over and Serena hugged him. He for a moment stood still not moving then slowly he wrapped an arm around her and patted her on the back.



"Oh Severus we've found her! We've found Isabella!! "



Serena was saying as she looked up at him and her soft brown eyes connected with his black ones and for a moment they stood like that just gazing at each other.The only one who seemed to notice the exchange was Albus who raised an eyebrow and smiled as he cleared his throat as Severus and Serena sprang apart as if burned and everyone turned their heads to look at Albus Dumbledore as he smiled and his blue eyes twinkled a moment.



" Congratulations, I assume there are many questions each of you would like to ask, however the night is a bit late and perhaps in the light of day answers would be more accepting.Mrs Zabini, Serena I welcome you to for the evening to rest in the spare bedroom of Severus's as it is the only suitable place for you to stay while here.."



Severus's face turned pale a moment but he said nothing as he looked at the old man and he scowled slightly. However his face softened a minute amount as he saw Serena smiled and nodded.



What game are you playing now old man? Perhaps I like my privacy and do not want to share it with..



Severus's inner rant stopped as he saw Serena smile and he just nodded to Dumbledore and he sighed as he extended his arm to Serena as if he were a gentleman.Serena went and hugged Hermione and Blaise and then Draco and she kissed both her children on the cheeks and she nodded softly as she took Severus's arm gently with her hand.



"I will return tomorrow in the morning and sweet dreams my darlings.. Draco mind what I told you earlier.. Blaise, you could do well to find a nice young lady to marry yourself, Albus thank you so very much! and Isabella.. My sweet baby girl, sweet dreams to you, we have much to discuss in the morning dear.."



Serena said as she turned to Severus with a smile and he scowled a moment but faced front and let a small smile tug at the corners of his mouth as he allowed Serena to step ahead of him and they departed through the Portrait door.



"I bid you a good night, come Mr Zabini and we shall see each other in the morning shall we?"



Albus Dumbledore said as he turned to exit the portrait door and waited a moment for Blaise to follow him.



Blaise turned to Hermione and engulfed her in a tight hug a moment then told her.



"It's good to have you back sis.. I've really missed you, Draco take good care of my sister and thank you both for earlier as well. Pansy is going to be happy too when she finds out about this!"



Hermione just grinned and kissed his cheek and then she leaned against Draco as he wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed the top of her head gently a moment.He then extended his hand to his best friend and they shook and Blaise beaming and smiling happily left to join Professor Dumbledore out of the portrait door.



Hermione let out a breath as she turned in his arms and looked up at Draco. As she did this he smiled and kissed her gently a moment and caressed her cheek.



"Well how is that for a early birthday present? I never thought about it before but you do look a bit like Mama Serena and Blaise..Shall we go to bed love and rest a bit?"



He then extended his hand to her and she took it entwining her fingers with his and he lifted it to kiss her knuckles as he looked into her eyes. Hermione leaned up on tip toes to kiss him a moment gently and Draco grinned and lifted her into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and placed her head on his chest as he walked them up the stairs and lay her on the bed and kissed her softly a moment.



Hermione was amazed as she saw the bedroom was alight with candles and she remembered why he would do so and looked at him with all the love in her heart as she caressed his hair a moment just allowing her fingers to run through his hair slowly.



He lowered his head to kiss her softly and slowly for a minute and groaned as she removed his shirt and he smiled as he st up and just caressed her face a moment with his fingertips. Hermione knew that they needed to rest and would not push it as she got up after a moment to change into her pajamas and as she did she didn't care if Draco watched her,he did with a smile and he threw off the trousers he was wearing and left on his black and green silk boxers and he sat back down as Hermione just kicked off her shorts and for the moment left his shirt on her and he chuckled as he kissed her nose.



"Come on Angel, let's rest okay? it's been a long day for you.."



He asked as she went and got on her side of the bed and he lay down pulling her into his arms and holding her as she lay her head on his chest and yawned a moment.



They just relaxed as it was true a good rest was what they both needed. Hermione smiled as she listened to Draco's heart beat and it began to lull her to sleep. Draco just caressed her hair and watched her until he too succumbed to sleep.
