“Sorry? What are you sorry for? That was bloody fantastic.” Draco grinned trying to get Hannah to look at him. To say he was confused would be an understatement. She looked guilty despite lying naked on the kitchen table with an arm thrown over her face trying to catch her breath.
The feeling of confusion couldn’t compete with Hannah lying like that on the table. Her body had a pink glow about it and it shone in the dimmed light. His eyes attached themselves to her breasts rising and falling with each labored breath. He let them roam done to her small waist. There was a curious freckle on her hip. He could have sworn he had seen it before. He touched it lightly.
“No, Draco please,” came a muffled whisper.
Perplexed, he deliberately leaned forward, letting her feel his weight until she looked at him directly. He raised an eyebrow waiting for an explanation. She gave him a little push so he was standing.
“I can’t think when you touch me.” She elaborated, sitting up. “Everything just gets tangled and hazy. I can’t – I should have told you, I- I tried…” she was blushing, and pressed her forehead into his chest.
“Talk to me here, I’m lost. Did I do something wrong?” Draco heard himself ask. Was he too rough? Did things move too fast? Her head snapped up before he had finished.
“No. Never think you did anything wrong. Everything you did, it was perfect. It’s me. I messed up.” She was shaking her head, he watched as her eyes landed on the clock. He thought she looked panicked.
“Hannah?”
Surprising him, she reached up and kissed him fiercely. Taken aback, but not necessarily unwilling, he let his hand tangle into her hair, holding her securely to him. Draco could feel his body gearing up for round two when he heard a tapping on the window over the sink.
Who in the hell is writing to him this late? It’s nearly midnight.
Giving her a brief, but unbearably sweet kiss on the lips, he strode over to the window, taking the letter from the owl, which immediately flew off. It wasn’t for him after all- it was for Hannah.
“Here, I hope it’s nothing serious.” He said giving her the letter. He was somewhat disappointed to see she had thrown on her top and buttoned her jeans. He watched her open the letter. She got up and started pacing. When she turned around she was pale and looked terrified.
It was then that something went wrong.
Draco watched as this woman whom he was ridiculously attracted to start to change.
Her hair darkened and curled into ringlets.
Her eyes went from green to almond.
A couple identifying features registered in his brain.
Her nose shortened a little, and her cheekbones became more pronounced.
Little things that all added up to a big change.
Like the fact that Hannah had disappeared and his roommate was standing in front of him.
Hermione.
