Chapter 8
Severus sighed as he walked out of Hogwarts for the last time. It had been three months since Harry had killed Voldemort and ended the war. He had returned with Harry and Ron to deliver the good news.
Harry and Ron only stayed for two weeks before returning to Yavin IV. Severus, however remained to find a replacement and tie up all loose ends. Albus was sad to see him leave, but was understanding and wished Severus luck in his new life.
“You ready Severus.” Talon asked with a smiled.
“Yes. Let’s go.” Severus nodded.
Severus had made arrangements with Luke and Talon. Talon was picking him up to take him back to Corusant. The catch was, Mara had no idea he was coming back to her.
“Oh, Hermione got what you asked for.” Talon grinned as he handed Severus a box.
“How is Hermione doing?” Severus questioned as he took the box.
“She fine. She and Luke are on Corusant. They both agreed to have the baby there.” Talon replied as they jumped into hyperspace.

Hermione groaned as she sat on the sofa. At five months, she was beginning to experience pain in her lower back. She laid her head against the back of the sofa.
“You look tired love.” Luke said as he sat beside her.
“It’s this back pain. I have trouble sleeping.” she sighed.
“Here.” Luke replied as he repositioned her with her back facing him.
Gently he began massaging her shoulders and back. She moaned as the pain slowly ebbed away under her husband’s firm hands. As he continued to work on her back, he dropped soft kisses on her shoulder.
“You look beautiful love.” he whispered.
“That’s sweet of you, but I don’t feel beautiful.” she sighed.
*Hermione, you’ll always be beautiful to me.*
*You always know what say to make me feel better. I love you husband of mine.*
*And I love you wife of mine.*
Hermione turned and faced Luke. He leaned down and gently kissed her. The kiss ended and she laid her head against his chest. Luke’s comlink went off.
“Skywalker.”
“Luke, I just received a transmission from Karrde. He’ll be landing on platform 306 in half an hour.”
“We’ll meet you there Han.” Hermione spoke up.
“See you there.” Han said and ended the transmission.
“You sure you’re feeling up to it?” Luke asked worriedly.
“I’m fine as long as I’m moving. It’s when I’m stationary that it bothers me.” she assured him.

Severus and Talon exited the KARRDE. Waiting for them were Hermione, Han, and Luke. When he reached them, Hermione rushed foreword and hugged Severus tightly. “Welcome home.” she smiled.
“Thanks. You look beautiful Hermione. I see pregnancy agrees with you.” Severus laughed as he returned the hug.
“Well, I’ll see the four of you later. I have some business to attend to before I leave to meet up with my crew.” Talon nodded.
As Talon walked away, Han, Severus, Luke, and Hermione headed for Han’s speeder. Severus told Hermione how things were going at Hogwarts. In turn, Hermione and Luke filled him in on what had been going on at the academy.
“Harry and Ron are excellent teachers.” Luke smiled.
“That’s good to hear. So, how are Leia and the kids?” Severus asked.
“They’re fine. The kids are shooting up like Wookies. I’ve already caught Jacen trying to reprogram 3PO.” Han laughed.
“Guess they get that from their father AND uncle.” Hermione chuckled.

Mara stood on her balcony staring out over Corusant. She sighed as she re-entered her apartment. As she closed the door, she felt a tremor in the Force. She spun around, blaster drawn. She gasped and dropped her blaster to the carpet.
“Hello Mara.”
“Severus.”
Severus closed the distance between them, pulled her into his arms and kissed her soundly. Mara sighed as her fingers tangled in his hair and her body eagerly molded to his.
“When did you get back?” she asked when they came apart for air.
“Half an hour ago. I wanted to surprise you. I hope it’s okay that Luke gave me your passcode.” he answered.
“Well I’m defiantly surprised. As for Luke, I think I can forgive him for that.” she beamed.
With a startled shriek, Severus scooped Mara into his arms. Without a word, he made a beeline for her bedroom. Once the door closed behind them, he kissed her fiercely. He used wandless magic to undress them then laid them on the bed.
“I’ve missed you Mara. I’m sorry it took me so long to get back to you.”
“I’ve missed you too. I was afraid you had changed your mind about staying with me.”
“Never. Never doubt my love for you Mara Jade.”
He leaned down and tenderly kissed her. Mara wrapped her arms and legs around him as he slowly entered her. Both groaned as their bodies became one.
“Oh Mara. You feel so amazing.”
“So do you Severus.”
“Tell me what you want Mara.”
“Fuck me Severus. Please.”
Severus kissed her roughly as he began moving within her. Mara tugged his hair as he pounded into her. Severus rolled them over and let her take control. She began riding him hard and fast. His hands holding onto her waist as he watched her rise and fall above him.
“Oh Severus. You’re so deep.” she moaned.
“You want harder? Deeper?” he gasped as his eyes rolled up into his head.
“Yes!” she groaned.
He rolled them over again. He quickly moved her onto her hands and knees. With a powerful thrust, he was once more sheathed within her wet, tight depths.
“Ooohhh!” she cried.
“You’re so tight.” he growled.
Severus wrapped his hand in her hair and pulled her head back. Their lips dueling for supremacy. He bottomed out with each hard thrust. Mara’s screams of pleasure lost in his mouth as she met each thrust with one of her own.
“Mara. Oh gods. I can’t hold back.” he moaned.
“Then come Severus. Don’t hold back.” she groaned.
With renewed vigor, Severus began pounding into her. His right hand slid down her stomach, his index and middle finger quickly finding her clit. He began rubbing the bundle of nerves in sync with his thrusts.
“Yes! Severus! By the Force!”
“That’s it Mara. Come for me. Let me feel you come.”
“OOOHHH! YES! SEVERUS!”
“AAAHHH! MARA! OH MARA!”
Gasping and shaking, the coupled sank to the mattress on their sides. Both trying to catch their breath. Severus’ right hand drew lazy patterns against her stomach. He gently kissed her shoulder.
“I love you Severus.”
“And I love you Mara. Will you marry me?”
Mara rolled over so that her dancing emerald eyes met his deep onyx orbs. “Yes Severus.”
Severus held her and kissed her. When their lips parted, he summoned the small box Hermione had got for him. He opened it and removed the green gemmed silver ring and slid it on Mara’s finger.
