Chapter Eight
Harry got up from the bed and walked to the kitchen. He made himself a cup of coffee, knowing that Draco wouldn’t wake up for an hour or so.
After reading the Daily Prophet Harry left the kitchen and walked to Draco's room. He paused at the door and leaned against the doorframe. Draco looked beautiful when he was sleeping. He loved to watch him sleep whenever he had a chance.
Draco was lying on his back. The sheet just barely above his hips. Harry pushed himself off the doorframe and sat on the edge of the bed.
He reached out and touched Draco's shoulder. Draco didn't seem to wake up so Harry traced his fingers down Draco's arm and chest.
Draco stirred a little and Harry froze but Draco didn't wake up. Suddenly he noticed something odd. He started to lift the cover and saw that Draco had a tattoo on his hip. He hadn't seen it there before, how odd.
Then suddenly Draco grabbed his hand forcefully.
"What are you doing?" Draco asked fully awake and smirking.
"I...I just noticed that you have a tattoo. I just wanted to look at it," Harry knew that he was a terrible liar when he was caught red handed but it was worth of a shot.
"Right. What time is it?" Draco asked and looked around.
"Only nine."
”Could you make some coffee?”
"Yeah, sure," Harry said and went back to the kitchen.
He made some fresh coffee for Draco. He didn't know why he bothered. Draco could have done it himself but he had some strange phobia for muggle devices and it sure didn't make working with him any easier.
Draco came in the kitchen as Harry poured his mug full.
"Harry I must tell you something," Draco said.
"You don't have second thoughts, do you?" Harry looked worried.
"No but I'm sure you'll have when you hear what I have to say," Draco answered and lowered his gaze away from Harry's.
"Nothing you say will chance my feelings because I know you, Draco. I know the real you and I like you because of that," Harry said and raised Draco's chin so that he could look into his eyes.
"Please, don't say anything you'll have to take back later."
"Now you, Draco, really are scaring me. Tell me what's wrong?" Harry took Draco's hands into his own and kissed Draco's knuckles softly. Draco's eyes were filling with tears when he thought that Harry might be doing that for the last time.
"Come on, let's sit down," Harry led Draco to the living-room and they sat on the couch.
Harry waited patiently Draco to start. Draco opened his mouth twice before he actually said anything.
”I have an intimacy problem.”
Harry’s brows furrowed. He hadn’t noticed Draco being uncomfortable while they kissed or pleasured each other. He squeezed Draco’s hand reassuringly.
”It took me a long time to even let Mike to touch me, but I trust you, Harry. I know you wouldn’t hurt me,” Draco said, returning the gesture. "It might not seem that there's something wrong with me but I've just had a few really bad relationships that ended ugly. I've been hurt and I feel quite reluctant to let anyway close. Not to mention that my father betrayed my trust at the end."
Draco didn't know what more to say so he stayed silent. Harry pushed him back a little and kissed him before he could protest. Draco knew that Harry would accept him as the way he was. It didn't matter what had happened in the past because they were living in the present.
