Chapter Eight
AN: I'll try to update at least once a day or in two days, but since this is WIP and I'm almost written the chapter 14 then there will be a chapter.. god knows when. Since I'm not in school nor wroking I should have time to write and I will write this story before this year is over. That may sound a long time but you never know what might happen in my life.
Chapter Eight
”Dad?”
”What is it, Angel?”
”Could I have a pet?”
”What ever for?” Draco asked, furrowing his brows.
”I’m a bit lonely I guess.” She looked down at her feet, fidgeting with the hem of her shirt.
Draco sighed. ”Come here,” he said his arms stretched out toward Hannah.
She walked into her dad’s loving embrace.
”What kind of pet do you want?” Draco asked as soon as his daughter was safely in his arms, smiling and looking down at her.
Hannah let out a squeak of delight before launching into a colourful conversation about different animals.

”Do you think se might be a Parselmouth?” Harry asked Draco as they arrived in Diagon Alley.
Draco smiled knowingly. ”What are you willing to give if I tell you?”
”Oh, come on!” Harry exclaimed.
Draco just raised his eyebrows.
”Okay, okay! I give up. Keep your bloody secrets,” Harry said, glaring at Draco.
Draco leaned to whisper into his ear, ”If you really want to know, I think we could negotiate about it...” Draco ran a finger down Harry’s cheek. ”I think I’ll have a use for your tongue if you get my meaning.” Draco smiled suggestively and resumed walking.
They finally reached the pet shop.
”What if,” Harry breathed into Draco’s ear, ”I just stuck my tongue down your throat? Would that be enough?” he asked, ducking as Draco turned around to smack him.
"You hideous prat!" he tried to sound offended, but he couldn't hide his grin.
Hannah smiled at her parents' frolicking. They seemed to be happy, though se knew that they would not be truly happy until they had worked thing out. She knew she was young, but she had noticed how sad her dad looked when he thought that no one was looking.
She could not help from noticing that her dad had resumed his drinking habit. She had been only six when he had started it. Uncle Severus had been forced to take care of her when Draco was constantly drunk, and Uncle Severus had been successful after two long years to make him quit.
Her life then had been hellish; her dad had been spending time with Tom more than ever, and plus Tom had been taking advantage of her right under her dad's nose. She suspected that Tom had been doing the same thing to Draco than what he had been doing to her since she was five, raping her at least once a week. She hoped that her dad had learned from his past mistakes, but she wasn't so sure anymore.

"What are you going to name him?"
"I was thinking something like Dan," se replied, looking at her new pet in its cage.
"Ah, so you are naming him after my uncle Sheridan. That's so sweet of you, Angel," Draco said, smirking.
"No, Dad! He's just Dan!" she shouted in frustration.
"I never knew you had an uncle called Sheridan. Why haven't you mentioned him before, Draco?" Harry joined in the conversation.
"Yes, Dad, why haven't you?" Hannah asked, her eyes flashing with a negative emotion. She knew that Sheridan had been an alcoholic, just like her dad.
"He was not a suitable role model for her, so I didn't mention him," Draco said, looking away from his family.
Harry looked at Draco and Hannah, noticing the tension between them. "Who would like to have ice cream?!" Harry asked a little too happily, causing Draco and Hannah to look at him like he had lost his mind.
AN: Ok, I just want to say that this probably wasn't what you wanted ;) . I'm kinda evil person anyway so I just love to torture people. Anyway, I wanna thank especially thrnbrooke... I'm really touched that you actually find something to say after my lousy chapters.
And I also wanna thank all the other reviews, too. Jan, who made me re-think the whole story for a while and of course Draco_Harry_Lover, whose latest comment was funny and I'm feeling the same way by the way.
Well, those three reviewers really make my life more bright. I eagerly wait what you have to say when we actually get somewhere with this story. For my sake, I hope it comes soon.
