Chapter # 7: (finding out about Christmas vacation)
The following few months flew buy in a blur. Harry and Draco had seen more of each other than anyone else; it seemed that if they weren’t in class or in the great hall then they were with each other. No one seemed to care that they we’re dating, in fact Ron and Hermione where happy for them. They’d said that Draco was the best thing to have happened to Harry in a long time. Harry was thankful for this.
Christmas was soon approaching and Harry didn’t know if he was staying at the castle or going to spend it at Malfoy manor with Draco. He and Draco may have been more involved with each other lately but unlike the rumors, they had not yet slept together; sure they’d talked about it, but both agreed that they weren’t ready.
Harry told Draco late one night that he would have a talk with his father and see what the verdict was on where they were to spend Christmas. Harry explained to him that since it was his and Severus’ first Christmas, he’d wanted to spend it with him as well. Draco understood and agreed that they should spend it together.

Later that week Harry and Severus went shopping together. This is the perfect time to talk about where we where going to spend Christmas, Harry thought. They were almost done and on they’re way home when Harry finally asked.
“hey dad I was wondering, where are we spending Christmas this year?” he asked.
“well I thought that you would like to spend it with Sirius and everyone of course, so how does the Order sound?” said Severus, still looking ahead as he walked.
“well it sounds great, but…” Severus broke him off.
“…but you wanted to spend it with Draco?” he finished
“well yeah.” said Harry.
“I thought so, Lucius and I had a talk and since we both have a little bit more work to finish, Draco and Lucius will be staying with us.”
“what about Draco’s mom? Will she be there too?” asked Harry.
“well no, Lucius and her got divorced, seems that she didn’t want to leave the dark lord; so she left Lucius.”
“oh.” was all Harry could think of to say. He was sorry that they had to split and wondered why Draco hadn’t told him sooner.
“why didn’t Draco tell me?” he asked his father.
“well, I don’t know, maybe he just didn’t want to worry you with his family’s problems. Don’t pressure him about it, I’m sure that if he wants you to know he’ll tell you.” assured Severus.
“ok. So when do we leave?”
“in a few days. Everyone will be there.”
“I can’t wait.” said Harry with a smile on his face as they entered the castle with bags full of gifts.

The Next day Draco ran down to Harry’s common room looking for him. Harry was standing looking through his book shelf when he heard Draco come running in. Draco ran over and jumped into Harry’s arms and kissed him hard on the lips.
“I’m so happy, have you talked to your dad yet?” asked Draco.
“umm, yes.”
“so you know that we’re spending Christmas together at the Order then?”
“yes.”
“I’m so glad that I get to be with you for Christmas.” Draco said as he put his feet back on the floor.
Draco pressed Harry up against the bookshelf and pressed his lips against his boyfriends. Harry felt Draco’s tongue trace his bottom lip; asking for admittance. So he opened his mouth and let Draco in. they stood entwined in the kiss until air became a necessity and they broke apart.
“this is going to be a great Christmas vacation!” said Draco, before leaving the room.
